The Pussy Room

Dude, it’s female genitalia encasing a pinball room and TV area to drink if the bar too packed or loud. It’s a great place to grab a table and watch the Sounders game when every other bar is too crowded. Attached to Olaf’s so it’s the exact same staff, bar, and grub. There was something drawing me here.
I didn’t quite understand how my friends had (A) Discovered such a place and (B) Decided that I would be someone who would appreciate it.
There’s no need to overthink. Don’t overanalyse.
You walk through the tight opening to find an intimate performance space complete with a (gasp) giant organ.
Without a doubt the finest gynecologically themed lounge you’ll ever enter. But in between the «what the fucks», it’s a pretty plain jane spot.
There are better bars in this area of town.
Sometimes a gimmick is just a gimmick.

What can I say about The Pussy Room? It was a fantastic place to have a small private party. The room’s existence is a bit unexpected, but that makes the unlocking of the doors and wandering down the hallway all the more entertaining. There are comfy chairs and a bunch of tables for sitting and chatting. There’s also an organ and a pole for dancing… which didn’t get used until the very end of the night.
I also can’t say enough about how great the staff were that night. The server was really attentive and managed to keep track of everyone’s orders even as more people showed up throughout the night. They also were amazing at keeping strangers out of the room, though it’s understandable that people kept sticking their heads in to have a look — it is definitely a unique space.
I’ll be going back to the Copper Gate and if I ever have a reason to throw a private party again, I wouldn’t hesitate to use The Pussy Room again!

When there are photographs of boobs, velvet paintings of boobs, sculptures of boobs, and a rotating e-​frame of boobs I can understand why it would be easy to overlook the secret double doors behind the hull of the ship at the Copper Gate.
But, if you are able to tear your eyes away from all the boobs you’ll see the yonic* door with a nice round pearl at the very tippy top. Walk towards the layers of red velvet curtains and you will come to a long narrow passageway which is anything but subtle with its undulating shiny pink walls. After you’ve passed the layer of curtains and traversed the vaginal canal you will come to the Copper Gate’s newly opened private room called… The Pussy Room.
The night I was there a violinist/​pianist duo were playing haunting tunes while we sat in the high-​backed red-​velvet wrap-​around booths watching a woman in vintage lingerie perform an ariel act on the single silver hoop that hung from the ceiling. It was quite otherworldly.
If you have a group of friends with a sense of humor/​adventure, and you need a private room for 20 – 50 people, I would definitely recommend calling and seeing if The Pussy Room can accommodate a party of your size.
*And, now we all know the female equivalent to phallic.
