Where the hell is this place located? And the phone number doesn’t work. I was literally in front of the listed address and it was Social nightclub. calling bloomspot for a refund.

Vodka options are good… and will most likely get better as this place matures. They are supposed to be expanding their food menu, but until they do, plan on eating a real meal before or after your visit here. I liked the interior, though small, and the bartenders seem to really«get» vodka drinkers and their preferences. If you are middle age or an old fart, go early on weekends because after 10pm, customers for the attached club start pouring in and the cool lounge vibe ends quickly.

Business has closed it’s doors! I called and spoke to someone yesterday. For all who had purchased the Bloomspot deal — you will need to contact Bloomspot to get refunded.

Was very excited about trying this place out, I love vodka and I love martinis. We got to capital hill around 7:15 on a Friday night but didn’t make it into Theory until after 8pm by the time we found parking(and found the entrance to this place). There was only our group there and one other couple and although there were about 5 or 6 people working there, it was impossible to get drinks. Our server reminded us several times that at 9pm the lounge turned into a club and we would be «kicked out». I wasn’t sure if that meant out of our seats, or out of the club entirely but either way, she was not pleasant about it. I’m not sure why she felt like she had to act like we were not real customers. Is my money not as good as club-goers? The«spicy» martini I ordered was way too sweet, if your business name includes«vodka lounge», I would expect exceptional vodka drinks. I liked the atmosphere, I liked the music, but I did not like our snooty server with the bad attitude and poor service. It should not take so long to order a new drink, even if it were busy, but especially when there was a total of 8 customers in the place. I won’t be back.

Theory is a pretty chic place to grab a drink, and it has a lot of seating if there are a lot in your posse. The drinks on the cocktail menu were mediocre or made a little too sweet. I would stick with the classics. Of course there is quite a selection of vodka. I would stay away from the food, as it wasn’t good quality. I got the meat and cheese plate, which consisted of really poor quality deli meat hashed together at the last minute.

OK, I don’t really like vodka but I do like a good time and I had one at Theory. I attended a Unilocal event here with the goal of finding a vodka drink I enjoyed from start to finish… which ended up being a drink mixed with Belvedere Lemon Tea vodka. The room is big and open, with lots of mirrors which makes the place seem even bigger and and more open. The bartenders were super professional & efficient and the seating included bars and some small tables and a lot of sofas and cushy seats. I will definitely be back to visit with 3 – 6 vodka-loving friends: vodka for them, beer for me, fun for everybody!

I attended a recent Unilocal EE here and wanted to leave my impressions of the venue itself. A couple of people have said that the place is tricky to find. Yeah, it’s a pain to locate if you aren’t a local to the area. We circled the block repeatedly until thankfully guided there by a friendly employee on the phone. The décor inside is pretty sleek — a wall of vodka in the centre of the bar with the entire back wall mirrored to give an added feel of space. Right now, there’s about 75 vodkas on hand. In time, the plan is to have around 250 bottles of vodka on hand to please any vodka snob. Against the mirrored wall, you can lounge on any number of comfortable couches or choose to sit on the other side of the bar. The lighting was pleasant, low but I could still see where I was walking. The entrance has a ramp in case you cannot take the handful of stairs there. Servers we encountered were both friendly and speedy. I’d return if I were in the mood to have a leisurely night of sipping vodka on the Hill.

This place is pretty cool! I really really dig the way the interior is set up. The lighting is and seating are really modern and«swank». The overall atmosphere make it just a cool place to hang out. There’s plenty of seating, too, so it’s a great place to meet up with friends to kick start the night. There are HUGE mirrors lining the back wall. And I have to admit, it took me a while to realize that they were mirrors and it wasn’t a whole other room back there. Well, it definitely makes the space look larger! There’s a DJ booth near the seating, but no real dance floor — I guess that’s the room in the back? Drinks are good, and true to their name, they’ve got a WALL of vodka. Mmmmm, vodka! I never knew my beloved Belvedere had so many flavors. I’m a purist, though, so I prefer to stick to the original. Trying mixed drinks is always fun, and this is definitely the place to do it. Bartenders are awesome and super friendly and accommodating. My one complaint? This place was a total bitch to find! It’s on the same block as where CeCe’s moved, but it’s practically buried behind a huge winding walkway. My guess is that they open that up during warmer weather? Throw some signs up! We must have walked up and down that block several times: «but the GPS dot shows that it’s RIGHTHERE somewhere!»

I bought a deal from Bloomspot and I was so disappointed! I would beg to differ that I was getting a $ 40 value. First of all when I think of any kind of tasting I’m thinking at least 4 – 5 in terms of variety and not 3 larger amounts of bad vodka. Even when doing a beer tasting you get more variety. Plus, you’re drinking a hard liquor so moderation would make more sense… I think we should have received less in quantity and more in variety. I enjoy a good vodka and I was so excited to check this place out. It’s inside a club which was like wait… what? Confused… Friday night and we were the only ones in there. Smirnoff should not be eye level when I’m at a «vodka lounge». Ciroc being the best of the 3 we got. Ciroc is a decent vodka, but nonetheless I guess I was expecting to experience some crazy vodka I haven’t tried before. Also, good vodka should be chilled not poured right off the shelf. AND I think it’s cheating to count different flavors as part of the 75 or whatever number of vodkas you have. Lacking in food options. We only ordered fries just to help soak up the bad vodka. And they were bla… no crisp no flavor. Totally disappointed to say the least.

Do you like to drink? Then get off Unilocal and get to Theory Vodka Lounge, man! This place is sleek and sexy, there are more than 75 vodkas to sip, slurp and shoot, and there’s food and dancing to boot. What more could one want?

I was visiting Seattle and being taken around the gayborhood by a local who used to live in Manhattan with me back in the day. I wanted to experience high end gay nightlife in Seattle with fancy cocktails. I really didn’t get either here. The cocktails had a bunch of ingredients, but there were no house-infused vodkas(strange for a vodka lounge…) and no fresh ingredients besides the typical citrus mixers. It wasn’t all that trendy, more on the«urban» side. And apparently there was even a shooting outside later in the evening after we left… very«urban» indeed! If this is the best Seattle has to offer, I’m a little weary about my remaining nights out. Fries: The fries themselves were nothing out of the ordinary. Could have been a little crispier for my tastes. Came with remoulade and some sort of sun dried tomato aioli for dipping sauces. The remoulade was meh. The sun dried tomato dip tasted good, but the chunks of sun dried tomato were too big to really get on to the fries properly.

The line was not long and moved really fast. This review is only for the vodka theory lounge. Keep in mind that that there is a club called Social in the back of this place. The line for both clubs is the same. Also, we went on a saturday night and paid a $ 10 cover. This place does a good job with the small amount of space available. They have mirrors lining the back wall so it gives it the illusion that the place is much bigger but in reality its a very small place. They do jam pack the lounge so expect to be shoulder to shoulder. Lines for the bathroom were not long at all so thats a plus. The music was mostly hip hop with some edm. The crowd was a good mixed crowd. Everyone was mostly dressed up. Drink prices are fair in the $ 8 – 10 range. I’d probably go back but this wouldn’t be my spot or first pick.

Hmmm. Already within a year, the establishment has switched to a new idea and venue! A VODKABAR… wow… Why a change in name theme and atmosphere. Must not have been working with the other restaurant… well, I remembered I never felt comfortable in the last place… this one feels good. I like the new swanky modern leather loungers… nice lighting and ambience. Friendly and attentive waiter… but, hey, there was no one else there… I do wish they would soften the lighting in the bathroom and had a door closer. as every time someone went in the door was left open with fluorescent throbbing into the quiet room. Happy hour is between 4 –8. I had the Skinnygirl cucumber martini and the Faux 75 martini… both were $ 6… most drinks were around $ 9 — 11? I’m not a sweet drinker but the faux 75 vs french 75 made with absolute citron /sumple strup/lemin juice/champagne: lemon twist. was perfectly mixed. I like the faux better as this drink didn’t have the bite and after taste of gin. I went on a Wed early evening… not crowded at all. That huge dance floor space in the back — The Social now only opens on Fri/Sat. Parking can be a bitch! Thx goodness I live in the neighborhood! Good Luck… and I will be back!

Great new Capitol hill restaurant. Try some of the fantastic food that’s easy to share. Adventure to any of the great specialty cocktails and then go dance the night away next door.

All you really need to pay attention to is the word«vodka» in its name. Seriously. There are something crazy like 75 vodkas on hand for the pickins! Order this: The Bean Me Up A delicious concoction of espresso vodka(!!), kahlua, and a shot of espresso. If this cocktail doesn’t keep you up, I don’t know what other cocktail will. Also, Bloody Mary Martini. Yes, that’s what I said. Chipotle vodka, a wee bit of bloody mary mix, lime juice, and muddled jalapeño and HOLYCRAP… I’m in love with this cocktail. You can enjoy this lovely mixture while sitting on one of the lounge-y couch-y things that line one of the walls AND get your people watching quota in for the evening! GOGETYERSELFSOMEVODKALOVIN! You will be extremely happy you did!
