Townvue Apartments

Hamilton Urban, rented from their Townview apartments. Very simple, they violate Washington state tenancy laws, just a shady holding company. They offer free parking when you sign your contract and then reassign it whenever they feel like it to someone else who pays for it without telling you, just one day you show up with someone else in your assigned spot, this is illegal, plain and simple. They increased our rent 16.2% and charged our bank account on the same day, per Washington state law they must give 60 days notice for rent increases above 10%, per their contract they state they will give 30 days notice. When I reached out to them about these clear violations the manager was rude and swore at me and continued to send notices to no longer park in the spot they contracted to us. Now they never respond to my repeated emails and voicemails. The manager also produced a letter they said they sent in for the rent increase, but then admitted the manager never sent it but refused to extend the rental increase for the 60 days required by law. Our windows were never sealed and so they leak into the walls, making mold grow from the inside of the wall of the drywall till it shows up on the outside covering the wall, it was obvious they painted multiple times over this to cover it up and didn’t expose until a few weeks after moving in. Multiple work orders submitted for this on their online portal, they close them right after submitting but never come by and fix it, I keep leaving voicemails about this and they never return them.

Overall great apartments! I have a couple of close friends who live here and they’ve never had any problems with it.
