Food was just standard gross bar food. Beer was good. They’ve got a tv for games. Doesn’t every other sports bar too? I went here because I got miles on my United mileage plus card. What a waste.

It’s close to home with yummy homestyle cooking, including a pretty nice burger(next time I am so trying the gorgonzola burger), and a fantastic special today that my husband loved. The service is friendly and pretty quick and the atmosphere of the interior is clean and open. Next time(did I mention we’re going to be going again), we’ll try and sit outside, but today was just too hot! And next time, there will be some drinking. Food: two thumbs up. Service: two thumbs up. Atmosphere: Homey goodness.

This is a great place to go when you want a casual atmosphere, friendly service and good food. The staff is always genuinely friendly and pay attention to the customers needs. As a vegetarian allergic to dairy, soy and gluten, there are actually 2 dishes I can eat with minimal modification! Relaxed atmosphere to watch sports games with friendly patrons as well.

A fine establishment located in Frelard. We bought a few of those daily coupon things, $ 10 for $ 25 or something. Each time we went, I ordered the exact same thing, the most delicious bleu cheese burger EVER, the Gorgonzola Bacon Burger. I’m one of those people that eats all the bleu cheese that comes with my food. If some falls out of my burger, I immediately pick it up and save it like it’s going to disappear. I cannot lose any single piece of bleu cheese, I’m pretty sure it’s sacrilegious to waste bleu cheese. I’m also a fan of bacon, so it’s like a double-win. Good beers on tap, including my favorite, Dead Guy. Varying seasonal beers. Some domestic piss-tasting beer in a can/bottle. Good HH prices. You should go there, like right now. Get a burger. Get a beer. Get happy.

What happened to the Treehouse? We would frequent this restaurant when it first opened and it was great. But this past weekend when we went back after a long break, and it was different. I think our server was drunk. The food was so-so and the clientele was crazy. I will miss the old Treehouse.

Treehouse is an awesome find. Good food. Good friends. Good times. If you’ve read some of my other reviews, you’ll know the boyfriend is a chicken wing addict/gourmet. He really only goes to St. Andrews for the wings, but is always up to the pepsi challange at other places. Treehouse’s wings are more than acceptable to the man with superior wing tastebuds. Most importantly, I like their wings better than St. Andrews’ so I get what I want. Service is awesome. Waitresses are no nonsense and kind and genuinely want you there to have a good time. I feel as if they all have a good story or two under their belts. Turkey club is fit for two and is delish. Potato skins rock and for the tator tot team(i’m not on that team) I hear the tots are great. They are also on mileage plus dining, so get a beer, grab some wings, watch some ball and get miles all at the same time. I likey!

I ordered the portobello mushroom burger stuffed with pesto goat cheese and it was great! It came with a side, I got a lovely salad with balsamic vinegarette. My friend ordered the buffalo chicken burger, which I will be getting next time because it looked awesome. The fries and potato skins are killer(I had some off of friends’ plates). One detail I enjoy at burger places is when they give you the traditional fixins on the side, like the lettuce, tomato, onion and allow you to pile on as you please. Great touch! Service was friendly and food good. Portions are HUGE and their bread pudding dessert that I took to go is almost more like a flan and totally worth the calories! I can’t wait to go back and try more!

We went here last night and were really disappointed. There were only two other tables occupied when we came in along with a couple people at the bar. As in many other reviews, the owner lady was waiting on everyone. It took her at least 10 minutes to come over to our table after we were seated. The atmosphere is definitely unique and we liked that. I wasn’t crazy about TV’s in the dining area though. I ordered the steak salad with balsamic dressing and he had the Reuben with tater tots. The Reuben was good but not as big as he wanted and the tots were tots. I ordered my salad without mushrooms and onions(I don’t like raw mushrooms on my salad) and subbed out avocado. The dressing was really good, I think it said on the menu that it was homemade, but the salad itself was really blah: lettuce, steak(with no flavor), and peppers. They failed to remember to put the avocado on the salad but we were still charged for them, nice. The service was pretty bad and she was constantly eating off her kids(I’m guessing) plates of food who were seated at the bar which is just really unprofessional.

Dead honest, I didn’t try any of the food, I actually went for the band that was playing(Alma Desnuda which means«Naked Soul» in Spanish, look how educational my review is!) All I had was a Bud Light, soooo this review is completely about the venue and the experience sans food and drink. That being said — holy crap, what a fun random hour and a half of a Thursday night! Alma Desnuda juggled 7 different instruments among 4 guys and absolutely no one in the house was sitting down for their set. After being served my Bud, the bartenders let down their hair(no, literally) and joined the dance party. It was the company that made this happenin’ The big-screen tvs with sports games on was a little distracting and the place is relatively small. I decided against the food since I wasn’t willing to shell out $ 9.95 for an appetizer, those are NOT bar food prices! I’ll come for some more live music again to shake up an otherwise ho-hum weeknight.

We had a really good experience here this past summer. Good service decent food all in quiet, relaxed space with a calm easy going crowd. Fast forward to February and it’s become a tad(or a lot) chaotic in here if you’re looking for your normal night out with your friends, over the usual bar food/beverages. This can get fairly busy on any given night and if the band’s playing just be aware that it can get very loud in here. The service is still fine, while at times a little odd… but the weird bar area should probably just be for drinks and not dining. We ate in here and it was a crampt, interesting/weird experience. A few too many big screens and a very compartmentalized space makes this an interesting scene. It’s definitely got it’s regulars which is great. They’re definitely doing something right here. It’s just not for me. I still haven’t had the chance to try their veggie burger, which I hear is great. If I could have it delivered, I’d be sold!

I’m not entirely sure what my problem with this place was. Maybe I went on a bad day? The server was friendly enough and the food was definitely good(the special that day was a crab-stuffed shrimp po’ boy) but I was just underwhelmed by the whole experience. I was also underwhelmed by the beer selection. Maybe I’ll give it a second chance when the weather warms up a little and we can sit outside.

This is one of those places that makes you ask yourself: Is this really Diet Coke or did someone slip in some Generic Cola. LOL. Not. Which is weird since it’s gota /is a pub. Hmm. I really liked the Nachos the first time, the second(last) time, they came out over-cooked and lacking. I kind of liked the Turkey sandwich but it was kind of greasy and didn’t have a lot of meat. I tasted mostly bread. :( Basically, if I lived in the hood, maybe I’d give it a try and do some hand-holding when ordering, if I cared that much. But why should I? Why should anyone? Make consistently good pub food and figure out service basics. It ain’t rocket science babe

I was a little confused when I walked in. Noticed the tiny room to the right of the entrance(figured that was the former smoking area just not remodeled?), saw the bar directly in front of me, then started heading on my own to a table under one of the 5 or so big-screens. Got caught off-guard by the servers asking if we wanted to be seated. OK, I get it now, there are seat-yourself areas(tiny bar area to the right, the 6 seats or so directly as you enter), and please-wait-to-be-seated areas(all the tables). But if I’m going for a PW2BS place though, I don’t really want a big screen distraction everywhere I turn. We ordered the following: 2 beers(nice, tall, icy glasses!) jalapeño cheddar burger, add bacon, with potato skins(YUM on the skins! Good burger, not dry, LOTS of jalapenos) ham, egg & cheese burger, salad, blue cheese(YUM on the burger, salad had a nice mix of stuff wasn’t just a pile of lettuce, dressing was a little runny but tasted good) I would say the«ambience» is in between Hale’s and Ballard Grill, both just a few doors south. Treehouse is doing its best filling that middle ground nicely, but perhaps having an identity crisis. Sports bar with plasma wallpaper, or casual restaurant with good food and a large by-the-glass wine selection? You can’t please everyone, I think they need to choose their target audience and will be successful whichever they pick.

It’s a bar and a grill all in one place! If you’re looking for a friendly, local neighborhood place to watch a game or have a bite to eat, this is the place to go.

«Meh. I’ve experienced better,» is the best way to describe my time here. Reading the other reviews, it’s possible I caught Treehouse on a bad night… but I sincerely doubt it. The food was blah, the service was filled with plenty of attitude, and the patrons were an obvious spill over from the BBB next door(read, salty characters). My salad was covered in onions, and my wine smelled like cat urine. Hubby got a burger, which he said was okay, but his potato skins were burnt to a crisp. So next time when The Traveler is completely full(which is how we ended up here to begin with), we’ll walk a little further south to Hale’s.

I found this place on Unilocal and went because of the good reviews and boy was I NOT disappointed! I had a WONDERFUL burger(the Capitola) and the service was great. The place was relaxed but not shabby. A great place, I’ll be back!

Simply a great place to grab reasonably priced food and drinks. They present an ecclectic menu with maliciously delicious meals that all offer something just a bit different than your ordinary garden-variety bar & grill. A turkey club served on grilled cheddar-crusted bread? A HUGE hit. The gardenburger is surprisingly good, and they have a decent selection of beers on tap as well as a decent run of wines. The Treehouse is a small, cozy joint with a great patio that will be useful in about another eight months, but the layout is unique. I highly recommend giving this place a try – you’ll find something that matches your pallet, and you likely won’t walk away disappointed. They are definitely minimalists in the staffing department, so be prepared to be patient… but I don’t know what you’d really be expecting from a place that tops their menu out at $ 15.00 plates. Suck it up, and enjoy the ambiance and the food.

Great food. The guy in the back must practice some sort of foodoo magic to make the food soooooooooo tasty. Go with the special — what ever it is. It never disappoints! Keep up the great work!

Wow, house made veggie burgers — I haven’t seen THAT before. The Treehouse makes it’s own Veggie Burgers, and they are really good! Gluten free, too. As I was warned by the waitress, they look pretty weird(they are green!) but extremely delicious. They also allowed me to substitute the meat on one of their entrée salads with one of these burgers and charged me a dollar less, hurray! I like their outdoor patio a good deal, it’s the perfect casual summer evening spot for a beer and some grub. Wines, except for one $ 5 red and $ 5 white, are a little steep around 7 – 8 bucks a glass. But the bottles are all right around 24, so next time I’m bringing a wine drinkin’ buddy and just getting a bottle. Down the hatch, bottle buddy!

Dropped by the Treehouse on a late morning/early Saturday afternoon to have our first meal of the day. Sat ourselves at an open table in their nook of a bar and waited for someone to notice we had arrived. There was one gal(I think she is the owner) serving everyone. .. in the entire restaurant and bar. It wasn’t until she returned to the bar and saw us that she said she would be right over. We ordered drinks and perused the menu until she brought out our drinks and took our order. My friend said«Wow — you’re the only one working?» To which she responded«It’s okay.» It’s okay for whom? For you — the owner — who doesn’t have to pay for extra help when 2/3rds of your seats are occupied(including those on the back deck)? Or it’s okay for those customers who have to wait to catch your attention while you’re running every which way? It really wasn’t okay. The waitress/owner had recommended the Huevos Rancheros, so that’s what the friend ordered — and I had the Teriyaki Burger with Potato Skins. The Huevos were really dry and not very flavorful. The Teriyaki Burger was okay — but had A LOT of teriyaki sauce on the burger itself and the bun as well. I ended up scraping the majority off onto the plate. The Potato Skins were actually quite delicious — and we ended up eating those completely and leaving some of each of our main dishes on the plates. As we were driving away we started discussing how I was going to Unilocal this review. We go out to eat alot, and we tend to enjoy going to the same places if we enjoy the food, service and atmosphere. Treehouse Bar and Grill won’t be added to that list anytime soon.
