I took a Paint your pet class on a Friday night and it was awesome. The instructor was so good, gave us just the right amount of coaching and really had fantastic ideas on better techniques. I would highly recommend making an evening if it & enjoy some drinks.

We had purchased a Groupon for a «Saki Flight and Appetizer for Two to Share.» We received a small glass of Saki(one each) and some popcorn. We were told they didn’t have any appetizers. It was busy and it seemed like there was only one employee who was doing everything. Very strange. A «flight» is usually 3 – 5 samples of different things… I think they are just doing the Groupon to get rid of excess Saki inventory, and make extra money.

This is one of my favorite places in West Seattle to hang out, talk and have creative conversation. Art happens here with everyone even the none artists like me.

This place is smaaaaaaalll. I went to the open mic night and it was a blast. There was a wide range of performers, mostly guitar-oriented, but also some really interesting ethnic stuff. The beers were reasonably priced, the wines were more, of course. At one point, I saw the bartender filling a wine bottle out of a plastic bag… hmmmmm… I ordered one of their sake choices, a plum one, I think, and it was terrible. It didn’t have any alcohol in it at all, it tasted like a little cup of Crystal Light. I got the nut and fruit and cheese plate and it was great. My only problem with this place is that it is reeeeeaaaaallly small. You have to practically climb over one another to find a seat. To make matters worse, in one narrow hall, there is bench seating and some weird, ugly stumps that are too low to be tables and too… stumpy to be seats and I saw some one doubled up in pain after slamming his knee cap into one of them while trying to get through. the people were very friendly and interesting, out of all age groups and subgenres, from aged hippies to hipsters, to preppies. The jeans were all on the tight side, though, so that was nice. I’ll come back to the next one, probably.

I love this place! Great for an intimate date or conversation. Very lo-key. It is an art gallery down stairs. The lounge is up the stairs. There is a lot of great art pieces, a lot of good drink selections and you can drink and paint if the mood suites you!

Such a rad place to get a beer, glass of wine, or even mead. Its also a gallery, and they have a deal where you get a drink, a canvas, and paint to create your own work of art!

This sweet little hideaway spot was perfect for meeting friends and enjoying a nice pour of a great glass of wine! One friend in our group took advantage of the happy hour special — a drink and a canvas to paint while enjoying the evening. Nothing like a little wine and conversation to encourage the flow of creativity — at the end of our time there we’d had a great night and she walked out with an inspired souvenir. The space is small and cozy but that suited us just fine!
