Dr. Maia is the best! I’ve been going to Trilogy for about half a year now, and I’m so glad I chose this place as my place for chiropractic care and massage therapy. Dr. Maia is amazing and really cares for your well-​being, and will offer suggestions and tips to improve your overall well-​being along the way.
Her staff is also very friendly and makes the place feel very warm and inviting. Always a good time when I go in, and my spine has never felt better! I can say that over time, my spine has been holding a better natural posture, and the chronic lower-​back pain that I used to feel has dissipated over time. I definitely recommend Trilogy Chiropractic!

As an athlete through high school and college I have went to many chiropractors and massage therapist for back pain. None have compared to the care I have received with Dr. Maia and her gifted team. Dr. Maia ensures that your entire body is assessed prior to receiving care to ensure you are getting the proper treated that will benefit you. One size does not fit all in the healthcare world. As an avid fitness enthusiast after seeking care at trilogy I have seen the results transfer over into my fitness routine. Thank you to the entire team at Trilogy, you all do incredible work.

I went to see Dr. Maia after a year of intermittent stabbing pain in the lower back and horrendous migraines. I went for six weeks and did not have a single migraine, or back pain. Dr. Maia is extremely knowledgeable and kind, and shares what she knows with you in detail despite her patient load. I was grateful for my visits, and learned valuable things from her (stretches, specifics about my body) that have helped keep me out of pain! I would definitely recommend her and her team.

I went to Dr Maia for severe neck and shoulder pain that had developed over the past year. She puts together a plan for each client that includes chiro adjustments as well as exercises on foam rollers or other equipment. I can’t believe the difference in less than a month. I’m no longer in pain all day or night. And my neck is staying in place even now that I’m no longer seeing Dr Maia 3 days per week.
Dr. Maia cares deeply about her clients and does very good adjustments.
If you have weird pain in your body maybe your spine is out of whack and maybe you should march (or crawl) yerself into Trilogy and let Dr Maia help you!

A masseuse recommended Trilogy and following through was the best decision I’ve made in months! I’m only 27 but was experiencing consistent lower back, hip and neck pain that prevented me from sleeping or sitting for long periods of time.
Now after six weeks of visits, not only do I have full mobility in my hips, neck and back, but the constant pain has greatly subsided! What makes this office special (in addition to the awesome staff!) is that it’s more than just adjustments. You also spend time doing stretches, exercises, etc. to ensure that your body keeps/​holds the adjustments. Similar to physical therapy, the work you put in with them and at home makes a significant difference in pain relief!

I have come to Trilogy for a year now, and have enjoyed massage therapy and chiropractic treatment. All of the staff at Trilogy are knowledgeable, caring, kind, respectful, invested, and intuitive about my needs. I didn’t even really know I had needs, and had come to Trilogy because of a free consultation I was offered through a 5k event in Greenlake. But when I talked through my x-​rays and how chiropractic procedures would work with Dr. Maia, I got comfortable and greater understanding with how my body could be adjusted. Her massage therapists go right to the heart of the tension or pain or discomfort that one could be experiencing. And Dr Maia goes right to the center of the problem and finds the solution in a gentle and effecient way. The office is warm and friendly (especially kid-​friendly!), offers many physical therapy methods, and the reception staff are personable and very helpful. I would highly recommend Trilogy Chiropractic!

Dr. Maia, her chiropractic colleague Dr. Locke and her massage therapist Rebecca Yawman have been helping me get past a severe injury to my shoulder which hampered my movements and caused very unpleasant tingling in my arm and hand. Everyone at Trilogy is sympathetic, professional, friendly and fun. I can’t recommend this clinic strongly enough.

They are efficient, personable and keep me upright! Can’t get any better than that. I am very satisfied and will return as needed.

I first came to Trilogy Chiropractic when I won a free consultation from a running event. I had never seen a chiropractor before and honestly, I had not heard very positive things about chiropractic care. Although I was convinced I had no needs, I thought «hey — why not just use it?»
I am SO THANKFUL that I went to Dr Maia. Through x-​rays and explaining exactly what a chiropractic care entails — I ended up getting my hips and neck adjusted. I thought I just had one leg that was longer than the other — but it turns out my hips just needed to be adjusted! I started out at 3x a week and we have slowly weaned down to where I am now seeing Dr Maia only once every few months (good news is that my hips are holding, bad news is that I miss getting to see Dr Maia all the time!). I also appreciate that if I see Dr. Maia and my hips are holding their correct position — she does not make an adjustment. She truly cares that the body is functioning properly and not just about making blind adjustments every time you come in.
In addition to my adjustments, which have helping my running tremendously, she has taught me about the importance of foam rolling and she taped my knee (KT tape) before my first half marathon. She goes above and beyond in so many ways to keep me healthy. I really don’t know how I would have survived my first half without her!
Laslty, she has added massage therapists to her team. Between chiropractic adjustments and the best massage therapist I have ever seen — I am feeling strong, healthy, and better than ever.
I HIGHLY recommend Trilogy Chiropractic, and specifically Dr. Maia and Karl Perkins (LMP).

Super helpful staff put me at ease the first time I walked in. I came in for a massage via my insurance plan. What I admired most, as someone that tends to be a tad weary of chiropractic care, is that no one pressured me into a chiropractic appointment, or told me what type of specialist I ‘needed’ to see. They knew I was there for a massage and treated me wonderfully. And on top of that, my masseuse was amazing! He really knew his stuff!

I love this place, they are amazing! Dr. Maia and Dr. Perona always have a positive attitude, and do wonders for your well-​being. They always find a way to fit me in on those difficult days (normally after a long haul business trip on plane), and provided me with a plan that resulted in complete relief. I highly recommend Trilogy Chiropractic, they have everything/​everyone you need in one place!

I’ve been a patient of trilogy for a few months now and am frequently surprised by how much I’m benefiting from their care. Dr. Maia adjusts my back, hips and neck on a weekly basis and the effects have been immediate and consistent… sitting and standing with good posture feels natural and GREAT for the first time in years.
Even more helpful, massage therapist Karl has been systematically treating chronic mid and lower back pain and the results have been incredible! My most recent appointment was a huge breakthrough and I’m feeling very grateful for this therapist’s talent, knowledge and ability to isolate the problem areas that lead to the greatest relief. I highly recommend booking appointments 2 – 3 weeks in advance because his schedule fills up quickly, and for good reason.

What can I say, I love this chiropractic center. Everyone is so warm and friendly, they make you feel right at home. I have been seeing Dr. Perona for some time now for hip, low back and neck pain. She’s amazing. Every time I walk out I feel like a new person. She’s so empathetic and I get the sense that she truly cares about her patients and their well-​being.
Just today I went in for a neck adjustment. I couldn’t turn my head to the left at all. She did an exam, adjusted my neck and wow! I feel like a new person.

I have been seeing Dr. Perona at Trilogy for a few weeks now and I have really enjoyed my treatments with her. She explains everything she is doing in great detail and made sure I felt comfortable with being adjusted, getting x rays and doing different stretches. After she adjusts my back, she always does a gentle rub over the area she cracked which feels authentic and caring. I think she is one of those unique doctors who actual wants to feel connected to her patients, unlike most chiropractors who just do a «rack them and crack them» kind of deal. Plus my neck pain disappeared after 3 adjustments! Hallelujah! If you are looking for a great chiropractor, she is the one I would recommend.

I usually don’t actually write reviews for Unilocal,but I just had to. I started chiropractic care after having horrible back pains after having my first son. I was nervous at first because I had never seen a chiropractor before. Dr. Perona made me feel at ease right from the very start with her warm and approachable bedside manner. It’s only been 6 weeks and she has helped me feel new again!

The team at Trilogy Chiropractic is fabulous! I’ve enjoyed working with them and they are so knowledgeable about how to help your aches and pains. Dr. Maia is super-​friendly, easy to talk to, and puts you at ease with her personalized approach. I highly recommend Trilogy for anyone looking for a professional chiropractic experience that will make you feel 10x better!

I met Dr. Maia after finishing my 15K race. I’ve done a few half marathons before and as usual, I always ended up with some kind of injuries or pain. This time is no different. I was limping. First she called on me and I just nodded as I passed through her booth to the free my massage session.
After finishing up my free massage, I was still limping and she called me again and said something that I don’t really quite remember but I remember thinking… «Whatever, what have I gotten to loose. At this point, I’m willing to try out anything.» She assessed me and gave me a voucher for a free consultation.
I paid a visit to her office and she explained to me about the spinal cord, etc. etc… (ask her!) and I did the X-​Ray and her recommended treatment. After the recommended treatment, I still saw her but less frequently.
I did another half-​marathon without much training and this time no pain no injuries!!! I only felt sore the day off and felt nothing the next day! I still her infrequently, once a month.
I do think that it’s not something that we can do and be done with it. Our habits create the imbalance in our body and going to the chiropractor once a month is a much easier solution than fixing 30+ years of bad habits. I don’t see her again because I had to leave Seattle but boy, do I wish I can still visit her. At this moment, day 2 of finishing half marathon and I am still so very sore.

The chiropractic treatment I received from Dr. Maia was transformative!
Like others that have reviewed, I met Dr. Maia at a running event, received a free consult, and traveled from Everett to Ballard to receive treatment once a week. It is a testament to her lovely character, dazzling personality, and homey office (complete with the world’s sweetest Shiba Inu & great music tracks) that so many people travel out of their way to receive treatment.
I trusted the treatment I received and felt confident that Dr. Maia was providing me with the type of care to last me a lifetime, rather than the quick fixes that get you back in an office for months on end. It’s a shame I moved across the country, but she armed me with the right tools to take care of myself on my own. What a fun, caring chiropractor she is!

There are not enough stars on the Unilocal rating scale to represent just how fantastic Dr. Maia is! She is the gold standard of professional health care.
Dr. Maia is extremely warm, engaging, and personable. She is extremely thorough in her work and is very clear about her scope of practice. Right away she made me feel comfortable; explaining how she works and her approach with chiropractic care. Never once did she use words or terms that I didn’t understand. After my first session I walked away feeling like my new health care professional is extremely competent and, equally as important, actually cares about me getting better. Despite my many questions, she patiently, and clearly, answered all of them; never once rushing me out of the appointment.
As if that weren’t enough, my back/​neck are pain free for the first time since an accident I had almost ten years ago. I’ve been to chiropractors before that provided great short term relief, but Dr. Maia’s approach actually goes after the root cause of pain so that you aren’t seeing a chiropractor forever. She is also very well connected to other health professionals in the area. I would go to anyone she recommened.
I’ve never had a more positive experience with a doctor, and I’m not sure anyone else could top Dr. Maia! If I ever move back to the east coast, I plan on scheduling at least twice yearly appointments with her and flying back for them. I am entirely serious.

I love Dr. Maia! I first met her when I was 6 weeks pregnant and was totally out of wack. She told me that even pregnant women could still go to chirocpractors. She even has this table that huge pregnant ladies can lie on their tummy without squishing baby! Anywho, she always made me feel comfortable and is so light and bubbly! Dr. Maia used gravity rather than twisting and pulling in crazy ways that always had me a little worried with other doctors.
I will never go anywhere else because I always leave feeling so much better. AND I don’t need to go as often as I did before I met her. Do yourself a favor and give her a visit.
Oh yah! she also adjusted my baby after she was born! My daughter has visited twice in her 6 months of life. She slept really good after visiting doctor Maia. It was really cool!
