I am typically a fan of Tully’s, however I had a recent bad customer service experience that has made me question coming back. I had walked in just after 5 o’clock pm thinking the place was still open for another hour. The place still appeared open and there were customers still sitting and enjoying their coffee. The woman at the front counter just kept shaking her head and finally curtly told me «WE’RECLOSED». I then mentioned that I had thought the place was open another hour to which she rudely replied«No, we always close at 5. If you read the sign, you would know that!» When I told her she was being rude, instead of apologizing, she replied«Thats how I get when someone questions the hours of my store». Maybe this woman had a bad day or something, but it doesn’t dismiss the poor customer service experience. I certainly will think twice before going to this Tully’s again and I suggest others do too.

Was looking forward to trying the coffee shops around work besides old StarB. This place was disappointing. Got the almond croissant & almond milk latte but it was just not great at all. Did I get an old croissant from yesterday or what? Blah just blahh. Almond milk latte was missing something it had an unpleasant taste & I know a good almond milk latte maybe they don’t make it often who knows. Overall disappointed. Next. Oh, yesterday I had Specialty’s Café & Bakery near work too & it was AMAZING! Bye Tully’s.

Hadn’t been to this Tully’s until last week! Walking from Pioneer Square, I was glad I could make it here(in the rain) in under ten mis. I was also pleasantly surprised that there was plenty of room to sit because I came in for a meeting. Free WIFI is always a bonus and I liked the herbal hot tea that I ordered. I know, it’s odd to live in Seattle and drink tea over coffee, but tea just suits me better. Service was quick, the tea was cheap, and I’m glad I found this Tully’s that I’d never happened to notice before.

This one asian-mixed girl is way too loud! It’s okay if she talks to the customers, but she talks way too much with the other workers and WAYTOOLOUD. She needs to be fired.

For some reason a lot of people seem to rag on Tully’s, I dunno why, I think they’re great. My personal favorite drink is an iced doppio with a touch of halfnhalf to make is strong rich n creamy. My favorite uniquely Tully’s item is the intensely dark mocha. I can feel my anxiety melt away with the decadently dark mocha mmmm. Also their pastries seem to have greater variety and less of an «Hi, I’ve been sitting in the case all day» look than at the Bucks. FINALLY, I love the girls that work here, they rock!

Neat corner spot. The nice short-stuff asian gal at the cashier had a fun/ny personality. They make an okay grande soy vanilla latte; could’ve filled up the cup a bit higher.

I normally don’t bother to review any chain/franchise establishments because the whole point is that the experience is supposed to be essentially the same regardless of which location you’re at. But after seeing all the negative reviews about this Tully’s location I had to jump in. I’ve always liked Tully’s as a brand and am glad to see them still holding their own against the 800 pound mermaid. This particular location isn’t anything special, but my recent visit there for a business meeting was quite pleasant. The shop was clean, the baristas were cheerful and prompt, and the only real negative thing was the absence of public restrooms. All things being equal, I’d rather pop around the corner to Cherry Street or hike up the hill to Stella, but I wouldn’t complain about having to return to this Tully’s.

Not sure what happened to this place, but it sucks now BAD. 1) The main complaint I have: They skimp on shots. I’ve asked several times if they actually put any coffee in my drink because it takes like chocolate milk. I’ve also seen other people bring back drinks and ask the same thing so I know it’s not just me. I even tried to go and watch the person making my drink and counted the shots they put in. One time I actually asked why she only put two shots in and she flat out lied and said she put three in even though I sat and watched her make my drink. They SKIMP every time. 2) They also don’t fill the up the cups all the way, I know because I get iced mocha’s and they always leave way too much room. If I’m paying over $ 4 for coffee, fill up the cup to the damn top! 3) I went there for over a year and they always had good barista’s. They were the same people and they knew everyone’s name and drink and they were nice and they made drinks that were actually good… Now there are always different people working in there and the coffee sucks. It’s like a training ground for new barista’s or something. 4) From 7:30 to 10:00 the lines are out the door long and slow probably because the barista’s are new and slower… So in closing please go to this place if you want chocolate milk, but if you want something stronger with actual coffee in it, go to Starbucks. And to whoever the manager is, bring back the people that used to work there!

There is one reason this place gets a bad review from me. It’s the female barista who takes forever to make a cup of coffee, then gets our orders wrong(even after lots of clarifying questions), never apologizes for it, and then talks instead of making coffee. It’s not that I have a problem with talkative baristas; I love talking to them. But, it does bother me that she obviously can’t concentrate on more than one thing at a time. For this reason alone, when thinking of getting coffee, I always leave the building and go to another coffee shop. It doesn’ t help that the coffee here always tastes burnt.
