Two Cooks In Your Kitchen

An amazing treat to have Rich and April come to my birthday celebration! After emailing back and forth with a menu and all the dietary issues of the guests, lactose free, gluten free and kosher. They came up with a great menu. They arrived on time, with piles of platters and good smells. Being in the business of being a vendor of parties myself and my friends too, it was fun to be treated to an amazing layout of yummy delights. It started with Hummus and naan, fresh fruit with mint and a very light dressing, bruschetta with a lightly toasted baguette and a beef sausage with mushroom kabob. When it came to sit for dinner and the platters of warm, well seasoned food just kept coming. Salmon with miso, steak kabobs, black rice with coconut milk, great beans, potatoes. after eating our fill, the dishes were whisked away and dessert was brought a blazing with candles. Sitting at the table and not getting up to cook, clean, worry about what I have to do next was an awesome gift to myself and to my guests. When they were done my kitchen was sparkling and left overs were put in tupperware in the fridge, that was awesome. Rich and April came with a smile and left with a smile, thank you guys for an amazing meal!

When I began my search, I was a little nervous planning a party for a few people my husband and I wanted to impress. I was also a little worried that I would hire someone who would be difficult to work with… after all, when planning an event anything can go wrong. The minute I got on the phone with April, my nerves melted away completely; I felt so comfortable talking to her. I could tell she was really listening to me and was entirely interested in making my party as beautiful and worry free as possible.
I was so happy to welcome them into my home the minute I met them; in person they are even more lovely and sweet as can be! I could also tell that the love of food and fine cuisine is in their blood. They don’t just do this as a job; it is their passion. I also love that this is their business as husband and wife! The fact that they are a couple makes it all the more sweet to have them cater your party; it’s a total bonus in my opinion and their love of one another shows in their work!
The food was delicious, they were so conscientious of my guests and after the party was done I didn’t have a THING to clean up in the kitchen; it was clean as a whistle.
A few months later I called to ask if they did larger parties… to my relief they said yes and it went off without a hitch! I regret that I didn’t review them sooner but better late than never!
I am a client for life and I can’t wait until I throw another party! Wow, I never used to say that! lol

I could not have made a better choice than to have 2 Cooks In Your Kitchen cater my birthday party. They were professional, cheerful and incredibly accommodating. April and Richie were able to put together a wonderfully creative menu on terribly short notice and pulled it off without a hitch. And the presentation was superb! We even had unexpected vegetarians at the party and April and Richie dove into my cupboards whipped up a dish that satisfied, not just the vegetarians but everyone else at the party! I would highly recommend using 2 Cooks In Your Kitchen for any events you may be planning.

Our office wanted to throw a last minute Christmas Party BBQ style, and April and Rich came to our rescue! They were very accommodating, friendly, and of course the food was delightful!

The husband and wife duo, Richie and April Christiansen of «Two Cooks in Your Kitchen» are simply wonderful! They came to my home and prepared a Thanksgiving style dinner for my husband and a few close friends. Everything was delicious! They are a fun, friendly couple and even give you cooking tips if you want them :) We had so much fun with them, we even invited them to sit down and eat with us!
I highly recommend this dynamic duo… if you have a romantic dinner for 2 planned, or a fancy dinner to impress your guests, or a big party, they can do it all! And they work with you on your budget.

Two cooks in your kitchen catered my wedding and all I have to say is WOW! They made my special day so unforgettable. Both Rich and April were professional, funny and just plain fun. And the food was amazing! They gave me exactly what I was looking for and then some.
