University Market and Deli

University Market and Deli is conveniently located across the street from Seattle University.
A great place to grab a quick breakfast, lunch, and dinner (especially given its location, and the great food it offers, all SU students and everyone else in the neighborhood are super thankful for its being there).
University Market and Deli offers a great selection of Boar’s Head premium delicatessen products, and the flexible menu and availability of a huge selection of ingredients allow you to easily customize your sandwiches and meal according to your preferences. They have recently started offering hot dogs and chili dogs. Yum. A large selection of soft drinks to choose from, ranging from soda to fruit juices, milk, even coconut water! They also offer a large selection of wines (these run two and half shelves full!) and beers. They also have a sizable stock of candies and ice creams (great for that sugar rush when you are studying, or partying). OMG, I forgot to mention their gourmet coffees. Made with organic coffee beans. And yummy selection of cold salad (potato salad, curry chicken salad, my favorite! bow tie spinach artichoke salad, and more!), and of course, their choice homemade tamales.
Almaz, the proprietor is super sweet, always ready for a friendly chat when you need it. She keeps the premises spotless clean.
