Viva

Love this building. Great location, new units and amenities. Big windows let in a lot of light but also block out outside noise. Building managers are phenomenal. They plan social events, make sure shared areas are always clean, and succeed at making Viva feel like a warm and safe community to live in. Only down side is no central AC.

I relocated to Seattle a little over two months ago. While preparing for my relocation, I toured countless buildings and met with numerous leasing agents. Viva came out on top and for good reason.
The building itself is very unique and immediately catches your eye, it’s angular shape situated at the corner of Union and Madison. It’s less than a year old and has been beautifully cared for. The units are spacious and nicely appointed with stylish cabinetry, updated appliances and quality fixtures.
The staff is incredible. Brad and David are a dream to work with throughout the leasing process and beyond. Maintenance requests are handled same day. Amazing.
One of the best amenities is a gorgeous rooftop deck with a beautiful granite bar and several tables and lounging areas. Perfect for enjoying Seattle summers. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my choice. Viva is amazing.

My husband and I have been living at Viva for almost a month now and we absolutely love it! We looked all around the Capitol Hill area and visited 7 other apartment buildings and none of them came close to comparing to Viva.
Our judgement markers during our search were apartment layout+building amenities, location, and price. We wanted a good balance of these three main things and Viva definitely goes above and beyond the basics.
Viva opened in May so everything here is brand new, which is a huge plus!!! Kitchens and bathrooms have wood floors and gorgeous countertops. All of the community spaces are spectacular as well. We have enjoyed the going up to the Sky Terrace to relax and hang out with friends. There is a great view of the Space Needle and when it is clear out you can see Mount Rainier. The Resident Lounge is equipped with a full kitchen in addition to having a dining table, a large TV with cable, and comfortable chairs and couches.
The staff here is amazing as well! Everyone at Viva is extremely courteous and knowledgeable and turn around time for questions/​requests is very fast. We thoroughly enjoy talking to the various staff members when we see them. There is a great friendly vibe here.
I would encourage anyone who is looking for an apartment in the city to move here!!! Everything you need is in walking distance. There is a Trader Joe’s, the food Co-​op, and 2 QFCs very short walks away. Plenty of restaurants and bars with great happy-​hours. Tons of coffee shops. Capitol Hill has so much to offer on its own, but Downtown is a ~15 minute walk away and South Lake Union is a ~20 minute walk.
In short, Viva is a wonderful place to live!

I enjoyed my recent visit to Viva. Very clean and inviting and I loved that everything inside was new and everyone there seemed friendly and helpful.

I recently helped a friend who is moving to Seattle look for a place. I feel the need to right a review on how helpful and knowledgeable the staff was to both of us. The office staff was top notch! If I was the one looking I know that based on my experience I’d go back.

I recently moved to Seattle and toured about 10 different apartment complexes in the area before signing with VIVA. I loved the look and feel of the common areas and fell in love with my apartment layout. It was exhausting to see most of the comparative buildings, but I am glad I did because when I signed with VIVA I knew I was getting the best value for what I am paying.
The place is brand new and all of the amenities are gorgeous. In addition, the staff were some of the friendliest around, and it’s great to be able to stop in their office and ask a question anytime.
I thought I would only be renting for a year, but now that I am here I am definitely considering staying much longer.
