Love Johnny Bradford… he is the best stylist I’ve ever had.
He is a lot of fun and always so wonderful. I just show up and he instinctively knows what to do to make my hair great. They use really great products that leave your hair really nice… not dry etc.
He has done some really high end hair all around the world and it is a privilege to have someone so talented here in Seattle. I drive all the way from Ballard to go there — but would drive even further if I needed to.
Amina & Brianne are also amazing. :)

Okay enough with the awesome reviews of Brianne — let’s talk about the fabulous Amina!!! I think I have been coming to Amina for about three years and she is amazing. She is meticulous and talented, and she has an eye for color that can’t be beat! I wouldn’t trust my hair to anyone else. Plus, Amina is intelligent and fun to chat with. Volume is located in Madrona on a street with EASY FREE PARKING!!! They play excellent music, the salon has a casual but highly professional feel to it. Great place!

I started going to Brianne about a month ago. The salon is very inviting, and she is personable, punctual, and upbeat/​fun. She did a fantastic job washing, cutting, coloring, and styling my locks. When I complained about my inability to blow dry/​calm the frizzes, she suggested a smoothing treatment. I went for it, and my hair and I are so much happier! I highly recommend this salon and especially Brianne as she makes the whole process go by in a flash with interesting conversation (she is very involved in the local art scene) and loves to talk about music. Seriously, I would give Volume 10 stars if I could.

Not everyone «gets» my hair. But twice now, Johnny Bradford at Volume has given me the best hair cut that I’ve had in 10 years. And he did an excellent balayage color job. It’s only plus that he’s also fun to talk to while you are in his chair. Check him out in either his Seattle location, or the one in Santa Fe, NM.

I got a hair cut and color from Johnny and it was fantastic. He’s a phenomenal stylist and gave me exactly what i wanted — which was probably difficult to do since i told him «do whatever you want» He obviously knows his way around a woman’s head (wha?) and I highly recommend giving him a shot. His partner Brianne is fantastic too, although i’ve never had the pleasure of her hands on my bean. But she does my girlfriend’s hair and she always looks amazing. Do yourself a favor and book an appointment with these two, they’re great! And endlessly entertaining, too!

Brianne discussed what I was looking for with my hair (something easy to maintain with minimal effort, and no clippers) and took my general direction into something that looks great. When she finished cutting, she washed my hair with a relaxing scalp massage and then styled it.
Appointment: Brianne was available the same day.
Parking: Easy to find street parking in the neighborhood.
