Loved living here. Friendly staff, great location. Clean building. The Staff is really on top of things when it came to maintenance requests. Very accommodating. Didn’t have any issues while we lived here. Thanks, Vox!

Strange that the negative reviews that have been on here over last year have mysteriously disappeared. The Vox was fine to live in. We loved our apartment and there were very nice people in the building. The management of the building was not so good. The building is owned by Essex Property Trust who also own the Joule and the Cairns in Capital Hill among others. You should look at those properties to get an idea of how the management company runs things.

I loved living at Vox while I was there. The apartment was huge for the hill and the staff are super friendly. Nick the maintenance guy was amazing and we were sad to see him leave, but the new guy is super friendly as well and has been really helpful. Neighbors were also friendly, but not too friendly and we didn’t have any issues with loud parties or drunken shenanigans as we have had in other buildings. This might seem like a weird thing to comment on, but on the hill with Seattle U so close, it’s was a big deal for us and something that I kind of feel is worth noting. It’s not a dead building by any means, but it’s not a frat party. Most importantly though, this location is flipping amazing. Right between Pike/Pine and 15th ave. Close enough to party the night away on the Pike/Pine and crawl back home when you want to and quiet enough to sleep undisturbed when you don’t. You can walk to everything the hill has to offer and we totally loved and took advantage of that. Overall this building boasts a great location in a quite(for cap hill) building with good staff and large apartments(for cap hill). It isn’t the cheapest building on the hill, but it isn’t the most expensive and you are certainly getting what you pay for here.
