I have been one of Thuha’s patients for over 20 years. She is just great! What I like best is that she does everything from cleaning to heavy-duty work herself(no delegating to dental techs). I have nothing against techs, but if I’m paying for a dentist, I’d rather have a dentist do the work. Thuha is very friendly and does not try to sell you more work than you need. When I have been in an emergency situation(twice over the years) she has always found time to see me ASAP. She still jokes about the time I came back from a trip to Vietnam with teeth blackened by too much strong tea and coffee. She gave me an emergency full frontal touch up(just the parts that people could see) then left the rest for my routine visit. If you visit Thuha, ask about how to park as it’s a little confusing. But once you know the situation, parking is easy and free.

I’ve been going to Dr. Thuha Vuong(who insists I call her Thuha) since 2000. And even if I moved from the north end, I would drive to still see her. There is no one I would rather have poking away between my teeth or occasionally drilling them than this woman. She has a small, cozy clinic in an apartment complex, and her operation consists of herself, her assistant, and her labradoodle who is only there on Saturday mornings. Oh yeah, and she takes appointments on Saturdays! She travels when she cans, and instead of inspirational posters or kooky mobiles above, you can check out her trips to the Middle East, Asia, and other locales while grunting uhm-hms and uh-uhs to her conversation. She treats her patients like old friends, always asking after my mother, or how I am doing in grad school, and how the economy affects my work at the college. And sometimes she likes to torture me by talking about delicious restaurants in the area, causing me to drool excessively. Thank goodness for those paper bibs.
