Walgreens

This store was very conveinent. Well lit and open late. Its was across the street from our hotel. Quick drink and snacks. For those coming from out of town. Warning: they have an additional liquor tax on top of their state tax.

Went to Wallgreens this morning as I am approaching the store at 7:50 I hear the Shift Lead Terry telling a customer «Sir I can help you now» as I walk up she closes the door in my face and says «eight o clock.» Keep in mind the other gentle man was in parking lot with his Vehicle and I was a walk up customer not dressed warm and she allowed him in to shop and kept me waiting in the cold. As he is shopping in the store she comes out again to take news paper out for the machine then she went back in and said «it’s just a few more mins», after the gentleman is done with his shopping she rings him up then proceeds to the door to let him out at 8am and allows us into the store. I am still confused my I was not allowed in at the same time as the other customer. At first I thought that maybe he was a frequent customer but then took notice that he was driving a car rental. Only other observation was that he was White and I was not. I guess all white people stick together. If your not white stay away from this Walgreens.

a) who legitimately rates a Walgreens? no one cares
b) one time i saw some random customer (we’ll call him Capitalist Pig A) chase down some person stealing from this Walgreens, not because it was a requirement of his job as it would be if Capitalist Pig A were an employee, but because he is a beacon of our American dream: punish the poor, pay the rich.
let’s all have a small round of applause for Capitalist Pig A for making sure Big Business keeps their inflated profit so that some random seattleite who can’t afford to live within our capitalist society without stealing cannot have his bandaids and granola bar. thank you Capitalist Pig A, sam walden is going to send you a care package.

Worst customer service I’ve ever received. I came in needing to use the restroom urgently since I have a bladder condition and even after telling three of their employees I was refused entry to the restroom. I understand that they have lots of non customers asking for the bathroom, but I was there to buy several items. They should still treat their customers properly regardless of whatever hassles they go through because of bathrooms, ESPECIALLY if they let you know they have a condition. Without them letting me use the restroom, I only bought what I needed for that night and am not planning to use Walgreens anytime soon. I do not need o give them my business.

This Walgreens is well lit and new, with a pharmacy drive thru and everything! I love that they are open until midnight. I noticed their selection of products was on the smaller side but I appreciate the cleanliness, convenience, and friendly service.
Whoever is giving this location a 3 stars probably has not visited the dingy ones in SF with homeless people sleeping at the doorsteps.

This Walgreens is in the best location. They always have what I need at a decent price. There are often homeless people outside, but mostly keep to themselves. Staff is fast and helpful when needed.

This is a pretty nice Walgreens. I actually went in to get passport photos done along with getting some photos printed. I was absolutly amazed how quickly I got my passport photos printed. The only negative is they were much more expensive than I was hoping for.

The Ladies in the pharmacy are FANTASTIC!!!
However, I shop at Bartels. Their prices are MUCH cheaper and they offer a
great Chinook Book coupon.

Cool Walgreens! Open late, and across the street from my hotel. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I was in here for about fifteen minutes looking for snacks and souvenirs. Different employees kept coming up to me and asking me if i needed anything. I am not sure if they were genuinely kind or they thought I looked suspicious.
The only con of this Walgreens is that there is no actual cashier at the front of the store. One must go to the back of the store where the parking lot is located in order to check out. I thought this was a very peculiar.

AWFUL customer service! Had to listen to approximately 60 seconds of ads before I could even hear the menu options when calling in. Then was transferred then put on hold, then hung up on.
Originally transferred my prescription from another location due to location. Then drive 45 minutes for a prescription that was supposed to be filled within the half hour. I get here and they say my prescription was filled at the other location. Said she tried to call me to ask which pharmacy I wanted it sent to (despite the dentist calling in twice to set the record straight) but I recorded no such call.
Lady working the desk noticed my frustrated and was only more cross and demeaning in her interactions with me.
Will NEVER come back.

Twice the pharmacy ran out of my prescription and one time I came an hour before closing and they didnt fulfill.

My glasses broke in a meeting. Without them, I’m legally blind. So I’m looking for that friggin’ screw and can’t find it. During my next break I look up glasses repair and find two within 5 blocks of my South Lake Union location. First one was closed for no apparent reason. The second was at a location that had new construction going on. Thanks Google and Bing search.
Wandering back to my office, I see a Walgreens – thank gawd their sign was so large! There is no one in the shop but the store keeper who meets me at the door. He quickly finds the eye glass repair kit for me. I mention that to fix the glasses would be difficult for me because I can’t see, and he offers to do it for me.
I like Bartell’s because they are local and friendly like this. I’m adding Walgreens to my list of favorites.

Although this Walgreens is extremely convenient to my office, I find that it usually takes 5 – 10 minutes to track down a cashier. Not to mention they are constantly re-​stocking the shelves and out of product.
My cashier Cheema is definitely the highlight of my visits, she knows me by name and is always quick and efficient at getting me in and out in a timely manner.
(Be careful though — if you are shopping too long there is a HIGH risk of getting a parking ticket)

They were just having a really hard time getting everything together. Apparently their photo machine is very popular but the employees were all back there when there were customers in line.

Staff is always friendly & helpful, location is perfect, facilities are clean and stock is well maintained. The pharmacy is super fast & I love all the Seattle merchandise that you can get there. Plus, the Seattle merchandise is a really good bargain that I would only consider buying gifts for my out of town guests here. You can get sweaters, T-​shirts, coffe mugs, shot glasses, etc. On days when I’ve had emergencies, this place way my lifeline. Need socks? They have everything. The best part is that it has 30 minute free parking and for the location, that is amazing! For a person that commutes into downtown for work, this place is a blessing.

I am not sketchy looking and I was just followed throughout Walgreen’s by a chunky white guy who was also doing a very poor job of watching and acting as though he was NOT watching me.
My crime? Needing to buy bandaids, Neosporin and acetamenophin after flying over my handlebars yesterday. Oh, and being B/​black.
I have been here before and this is the first time I have watched one of their employees give into his baser (racist) instincts.
I’m going to talk to someone in charge tomorrow because that was bullshit.

I’ve been going to this Walgreens 1 – 2 times per week since moving nearby. The store has a lot of great products, as well as some pretty stellar deals. How can you pass up 2 for $ 1 Arizona Iced Teas? Amazing.
Another plus about this location is that the people here are SO nice and are always extremely friendly. Come here if you want a good selection of snacks, soda, home products, and other general items.

located in the seattle center area and only a few blocks away from the space needle, this walgreens is a great place to stock up on snacks, drinks and other essentials. Located only a few blocks away from the La Quinta, my friends and I came here to get water and other stuff. It is not a big location but it has what you need especially for those traveling. I did want to mention that the girl working the cash register ³⁄₁ around 5pm was very nice and helpful.

It’s a Walgreens. You’re going to pay for the convenience here, not going to lie. That, and slap on the 9.5% sales tax here… yeah. This Walgreens is well-​stocked and the photo counter people are nice. There is also a (ghetto) Chase ATM here.
One pet peeve I have about Walgreens in general is that there a lot of items that are, say, 3 for $ 2, but you HAVE to buy 3 in order to get the promotion deal. Normally in other stores, it will say 3 for $ 2 but you don’t need to buy all 3 to get the promotion per item.

Since one of us wasn’t completely prepared for the weather here (awesome rain boots but no gloves?), we looked for gloves far and wide. Now who knew that the Walgreens was going to carry the most aesthetically pleasing and cheap (1.99!) gloves for the trip? Furthermore it provided entertainment value in a product called «Brown Sugar» edition Leggs stockings on the shelves. Gotta love it:
