I saw the one star review and just had to chime in. I feel it’s an unfair potshot based on frustration over the medical industry and not on Dr. Warnekros. If you go see a doctor you have to pay. People expect doctors to know what’s wrong, but every body is different. Dr Warnekros is great. He’s worked on my whole family for generations. He’s kind, affable, and knowledgable. When I complained about not being able to afford a prescription for a foot cream, he gave me enough samples to solve the problem. I recommend him highly.

I had a really frustrating experience here. I have had plantar fascitis for a long time, and I was talked into buying special orthodics that were hundreds of dollars. Unfortunately, they didn’t fit my feet. The doctor kept having me come back to readjust them, shaving off pieces of the mold here and there, but each return visit to try to fix his mistakes cost me another $ 40. I came back three times and then gave up. Total cost: $ 600+ wasted for orthodics that don’t fit my feet. And, trust me, I expressed my frustration but he had no solution except to keep coming back and for him to keep getting paid. A friend of mine had a similarly terrible experience; she wanted a diagnosis on a problem with her toenails. He said he didn’t know what was wrong with then and she got charged for his cutting her toenails, which she didn’t even ask him to do. Total cost: $ 80 for cutting her nails. Insurance obviously wouldn’t cover this! She protested the bill but eventually had to pay it.
