The food is always good. Love sitting in the bar. It’s tucked back and has dim lighting making a relaxing setting. Iv been here two times. This most recent time I would say the service could have been better. That’s why I left one star out. Took a hour to get our food. and I’m a patient person. The server checked on us three times. Once to fill our drinks, once to bring the food, and once for the check. No refills on our drinks. But other than that, I really love this place

There’s nothing wrong with this place. It’s just that price is slightly higher than other places around. I’ve checked 76, shell and safeway and this place gives the highest regular gas price.

I agree, these guys are some of the nicest people I have ever encountered at any gas station/​mini mart ever! They always ask how my dog is (a real old Lab) if I come in without him:)

I don’t normally write reviews after I get gas but this morning as I begrudgingly stopped for gas and coffee I was struck by the consistent clean and happy atmosphere this station has. The employees are always very nice (even when I pay in all change for my junk food)! The coffee area is ALWAYS very clean– even in the busy morning hours.
I guess this is why I stop here on a regular basis.

Why am I writing a review for a gas station? Three things: 1) I’m a regular, 2) the people who work there, 3) the milk. While it’s much more cool, and a lot less pathetic, to be a regular at a restaurant or bar, I’ve been buying most of my gas and assorted convenience products (like the late night, satisfy my intense craving Hershey’s dark chocolate bar, and the toilet paper we’ve just run out of and I don’t want to spend the time navigating a grocery store to get) at this station for five years. The gas isn’t the cheapest in town, but it isn’t the most expensive. My car has never had a problem with the fuel and this is just the most convenient place for me to fill up, especially when I don’t happen to be driving by an Arco station, which does have the cheapest gas in town. However, if it weren’t for the people, I might go out of my way for cheaper gas. Steve and Bekele are two of the nicest people around. They’re fast and efficient at getting you checked out and I’ve witnessed them exercising the utmost patience with the drunks and belligerents who are inevitably in the line ahead of me. Murphy has an entire set of laws devoted to my life. Drunk people at a gas station is an entirely different topic I won’t get into here, as I’m not sure even Unilocal has enough space for my rant. This station is kept spotlessly clean, inside and out, there are always window washer/​squeegees and plenty of fluid and paper towels and they don’t look at you funny if you use them without buying gas. What more is there to say about a gas station? Oh, the milk. It’s just milk, but it’s only $ 1.99 per gallon, and considering I go through 4 gallons a week, it’s a screaming deal over the grocery stores. I don’t even drink milk. Those 4 gallons might as well be intravenously hooked up into my kids. I know people who have a strong aversion to buying milk at a gas station. I think they’re milk snobs. It’s not even like they buy organic milk which costs more. They buy the same stuff I do. Even if I had more money than I knew what to do with, I’d probably still buy milk at this gas station. And the subject of milk and what’s in it or not in it is also a whole other topic, so let’s not go there.
