The worst nail gel experience. The older women just bad at everything. No serves, unskilled. Even my friend want to park on their parking space they said no. Never ever come back.

Very clean, modern salon with the lowest prices I have found in the U District so far. I got a deluxe spa pedicure for $ 20 and she was very thorough and did a great job. Manicures are $ 12 and they also offer waxing services. It seems as if the majority of equipment is new which is also a plus.

Came here on a time crunch with no appointment. Luckily there was no wait and the lady who did my nails was pretty quick. Got shellac done in less than 20 minutes and I’m pretty happy with the result!(Skipped the hand massage). If I lived closer, I would come back. Not sure who the other reviewers had for them to give bad reviews, but the ladies I talked to were pretty nice and friendly.

The worst nail painting experience. The lady who helps me did my nails so negligently like she was in a hurry or something. She didn’t carefully paint the side of my nails and the polish is uneven. I asked her to put on another coat but again didn’t help evening the color. And the price is a little high. Anyways, I won’t recommend anybody going there. :(

I like this place :) Great place for eyebrows waxing ! It’s very affordable and clean. I had done many eyebrows waxing there. I’ve never called them for an appointment, but they take care of me well. I’m satisfied with what they did for my eyebrows every time. However, I don’t recommend you to get mani and pedi there. My mani and pedi got damaged right after I left the salon even though I waited to dry them for 15 — 20 mins. They didn’t have any liquid inside of bottle I chose three times so I couldn’t chose what I want to get. The ladies for mani and pedi seem so tired and not friendly. They hurt my feet with brush even though I told them it’s too strong.

The place was clean and the prices are great, but my experience here wasn’t the best. My lady who did my pedicure wasn’t friendly at all, and made my toe bleed she scraped/picked at the cuticle so much. My foot was pulled and yanked on to reposition, and my feet were not scrubbed enough to be smooth. Although the prices are great, a poor experience isn’t worth saving a few bucks!

Worst pedicure I’ve ever had. The lady was so incredibly rude. Didnt even greet me and kept giving me dirty looks. The massage part lasted almost a minute and she kept hurting my nails when clipping them. I tried to tell her but she doesn’t speak English and couldn’t understand me. She also dropped the brush on the floor and picked it up and kept using it.

I just had a pedi done & it was my first time here. I had called ahead and made an appointment, not sure if that is really needed but maybe it helps. They were very friendly, greeted me right away and got started on me. Everything was great and for $ 20 it’s the lowest cost pedi I’ve found around here. I’ll be coming here from now on!

I live a few blocks from this salon, and am a fanatic of getting my nails done regardless of where I am at. But this has to be my favorite. Manicure: They know me by now, and they always do a great job. If i dont like the way the color turned out, theyll change it or find alternatives for me. Pedicure: Sometimes its better than others, but my regular pedi lady knows what I like and does a fantastic job. They last me for weeks, the entire nail is covered, there isnt anything on my cuticles. Its near flawless. Acrylics: They do exactly what you want them to,(Unless of course theyre crazy busy and theres only two technicians, then you have to compromise but they do their best) they arent too clunky or chunky or too fake looking. They dont have a huge selection of nail décor(sorry pinteresters) but the quality of the nail is great, both with white tip or the clear nail. Waxing: Starting price of 25 dollars for full bikini and she gets EVERYTHING off, Rose pays attention to detail and makes sure it looks clean. Although be aware that she is comfortable with her job and will ask you questions like«are you going on vacation?» or «Is this for your boyfriend?» All in good humor of course. Shes great. Brows are 10 dollars and they look amazing. Lip is great too, the wax works fine on my sensitive skin so no break outs or rashes. Its a little hole in the wall nail place with good prices and good work. Definitely recommend.

Called ahead asking the price and was quoted $ 25 for Shellac and $ 20 for pedi by Rose the manager. When it came time to pay she charged me an extra $ 5. for removing my old polish. This seems to be the theme with the nail places here in Seattle which is a bummer.

I was getting gel nails, didn’t wait for the gel to cure completely. Soaked my nails in acetone for over half an hour and finished the manicure in about 20.

Very clean and nice place. It’s a little newer, and not located in a high traffic area, so it wasn’t crowded at all when me and a friend stopped in on a weekday afternoon. They had a number of comfy massage chairs that they let us sit in for over an hour while we were waiting for them to start, and waiting for our nails to dry. What a way to relax after a long week of classes… The manis and pedis themselves were decent quality, and reasonably priced at $ 20 for pedicures, $ 12 for manicures, and $ 30 for both. While this is comparable to other places nearby, I would definitely recommend Welcome Nails over, say, Sally’s Nails on the ave, mostly for size issues. I mean, what’s the point of getting nails done with the girls if you can’t even all sit together at the same time?

If you’re looking for a Reasonably priced place to get a manicure pedicure this is the place! It cost $ 30 for both a manicure and pedicure and they have the spa chairs which is nice The women there are very nice and they have a great selection of polish. Did a great job! Would definitly come back here

Yes I am a regular and the price is right. The new Welcome Nails. The other one is up the street and use to be owned by this woman. If only I had the ability to paint my own nails and not get polish all over my toes and hands… so I must come here to have it done right. They have a clean, new place and the women are friendly. I usually chat with them about their kids, dogs, weather… For the price and the quality it is a dealio. Free parking too!
