Five stars for Shane. He is the best! Unfortunately, the rest of the crew could learn a thing or two when it comes to customer service. I cannot for the life of me get them to give me sauce without asking about 10 times. Every request or even just ordering seems to be an inconvenience to them. Generally, the food is good, but I do often get burgers that are very very pink.

So being a fast food chain I don’t feel like my standards are set too high, but my visit to this particular Wendy’s was extremely disappointed. The food was okay, it was the service that was horrible. First off, the woman taking my order could not seem to work her screen and rang up everything I ordered wrong, several times. Second, while waiting for my food I had to ask same cashier for my drink three times before she actually did anything about it. Horrible service, will not go to this location again. The one star is for the food being good Wendy’s quality.

We visited this location on Sunday October 4 around lunch time; restaurant was clean and food is the usual Wendy’s. The young man behind the counter was a complete idiot; the gentleman ahead of us came back three times because his hamburger order wasn’t correct. We ordered 2 fries, 2 drinks and a plain hamburger and it took 2 tries to get it right. ITSNOTROCKETSCIENCE!!! To the young man behind the counter… YESYOU! You, and only you, are the reason we gave your location a 1 star and will not be returning. Your attitude stinks; especially for someone working with the public. Working With The Public 101… smile when you greet the customer, speak clearly and make eye contact. Memorize the following statements(1)Please.(2) Thank You. Understand their definitions and use them often. I know you are capable of this. That was very apparent when your friends came in. If you can not provide good service to EVERYONE that walks in that door, please find a job that you are capable of doing. WHATISITWITHTHEHAIRWENDY’S!!! Why are your employee’s working the register not required to wear hair nets? THISISGROSSANDSOUNPROFESSIONAL! I’m tired of seeing people at your front registers without hairnets; especially those with a huge amount of hair that they can’t seem to stop touching. Ewwwwwww!!!

Well I don’t usually eat fast food, but when I want a tasty burger fast, and quick I love Wendy’s. This being said the Wendy’s in Ballard has pretty much turned me away from that. I have never been served by such a rude, the most unhappy, and zero personality human ! Specifically the drive-through. The first window money takers are generally polite, but the second window is a different story, they never say one word they literally shove the food at you and slam the window shut as you’re trying to ask for salt or ketchup, so therefore thanks Ballard Wendy’s you just made my decision easy. I rarely eat fast food, so I am done with you!

I never really thought I’d write a review for a fast-food chain, but after seeing so many idiotic(from someone using their parking lot and another using the restroom??) reviews that had nothing to do with the food or service, I decided this Wendy’s deserved an actual review. I’ve been coming here maybe once every month or two for years now. I use the drive-through usually. In all that time, they have never screwed up my order. They have always been polite. I often don’t have to wait at all and if I do, it’s just a short time. And my food has always been fine. What more could you ask for from a fast food chain. Dependable, fast, polite.

This location mostly holds up the standards I hold for all Wendy’s chains. However, I find the service to be a bit lacking in terms of making sure a customer has everything for their meal. Ketchup for fries? Dipping sauce for chicken nuggets? On more than one occasion I have felt rushed from the counter or drive thru while I check to make sure I have everything. I understand I’m not at a sit down restaurant but I think one should still have standards.

I came in here around 10AM on 5⁄25 for a quick bite to eat. I walk in and I see a short Asian lady asking for someone to take here order. A staff pops out of the kitchen and he takes her order and disappears. The same staff comes back and looks at me like«Oh you need something.» He takes my order and I pay cash. He slams my change and throws the bills on the counter… I just thought to myself«WTF…» I looked at his name badge and it says«Sallendra» and«Co-manager.» He must really love his job. I get my spicy chicken burger combo and its sloppy. I thought about going back to the co-manager and tell him this is bad but I didn’t want to deal with it. I just know I won’t be going here anymore.

Not really open open past like 10. Came later and only drive through was open. Understandably would not serve me trough drive through but I could not order unless I «hailed a cab.» I don’t own a car and live only a few blocks away. Left hungry and angry.

Went for a fourth meal to soak up all the post karaōke booze in my tummy. Sure I was a little impaired but I am still certain that my interpretation of the level of service we received is accurate. Donovan was more than helpful. He answered the various questions we shot at him regarding vegan options among other things and he happily offered suggestions as well. He was just so nice and good at his job, you have to wonder why that is not often the case when you dine at establishments where you food costs more than a dollar. And my chicken Sando was delicious.

Too many sad reviews, I needed to leave a HAPPY one! What’s not to like about Wendy’s? Quality food, can order with my eyes closed, etc. Just wish I didn’t have to drive so far to find a Wendy’s in Seattle! Last time I was they even called me by my name and gave me a compliment! If I’m broke I order from the dollar menu, if I’m rich I go all out with the spicy chicken. My fast food go to. Don’t worry, you can dress casual when you come. Wear some red overalls +/-pigtails if you’re feeling like dressing the part.

I came to this place to use their bathroom but of course, I bought something because I have manners. unlike some of the staff that works here… I don’t know if I should even write a completely BAD review on them since I think their machine for something was broken… I heard beeping noises and panic in the kitchen… But somebody could have let me know something was up and told me to wait a bit… I kept craning my neck into the kitchen because NOONE would come out to help me out… Finally, I got help… he was friendly though and smiled through the chaos. I didn’t know what to order. I didn’t want to seem like I was buying their food to use their bathroom either… but like any fast food restaurants… a lot of their foods were less than a dollar… but there was this spicey guaq chicken sandwich thing was on sale for $ 5! so I ordered that… I tried this sandwich later after I got home and it was surprisingly delicious! This is actually the only reason this review even got 2 stars instead of 1. OKSOANYWAY– got a token to get into the bathroom(which I thought was absolutely adorable) I went to the restroom… no mirror… I honestly think mirrors are so important… especially in a woman’s bathroom. Sometimes… women go in there just to look at themselves… in the mirror… the bathroom was kinda stinky and dirty… Meh–

Recently I was cat-sitting for friends who live nearby. There was no parking to be found anywhere and it was raining. I didn’t feel like walking several blocks so I ran through their drive-through so I could have a purchase on the books. I needed to use their parking lot and didn’t wish to incur the towing gods. I bought their smallest soda to display on my dashboard as I nipped into the nearby apartments. No comment on their food as I didn’t buy any. The week that I frequented the area, I did noticed that they do a steady business. And while I waited on my drink, they had a sign proudly proclaiming sea-salted fries with the skin left on… I was tempted but not enough to buy any. Basically it’s fast food. It’s not good for you but it’s cheap and well… it’s fast. Proclaiming their superiority over the other major chains is like swearing that you love a Ford over a Chevy. I prefer to stick with a local chains and drive my VW :)

I’m not a big fast food eater, but after a long night of drinking the only thing I crave(besides another drink) is a Wendy’s spicy chicken sandwich and a small fry. Their food is tasty and seems fresher(and healthier?) than other fast food offerings. For example, my sandwich comes with a real piece of lettuce and a large slice of tomato on it. The chicken is breast meat rather than mystery meat and I can taste the potatoes in my fries. A-OK in my book!

Well… I should have known better, but I live in Ballard, I was hungry, and it was after one AM… what to do if you don’t want to drive to a real restaurant downtown or in the International District? Actually, you could go to a grocery store which is open 24 hours… which is what I would do the next time or ANY time I might again be tempted to partake of this sort of(I use this phrase with reservations) fast«food.» Seriously, folks, how can you eat this crap? I had what they called a chicken sadwich which was hard to chew and harder to swallow… and about the worst fries I’ve ever tasted. The«Caesar» Salad was just as bad… and infested with Baco Bits and clotted, nasty dressing. I did drink the ice tea… although it tasted like it might have been brewed a few days earlier. Please don’t say that I would have done better ordering another menu item, or going to BK or MacDonald’s or whatever other worthless excuse for fast food we might have in the neghborhood. Sometimes it’s just better to go to bed hungry than to participate in such a corporate sell-out as giving money to Wendy’s. Don’t let desperation cloud your mind!

Yes. I went to Wendy’s last night for the first time in probably 10 years… What can I say? Nothing satisfies at 12:30am like a 10 piece chicken nugget meal. Well, actually, that’s not true at all. I can think of a lot of things I’d rather eat, but this place does the trick in a pinch. Decent, warm fast food. Nothing more, nothing less. Oh, and I appreciate that they don’t salt the fries. They supply you with packets if you wish to do so. I can’t say I’ll ever be back, but if you’re looking for cheap late night options in Ballard, this place works.

I don’t know really what to say about Wendy’s. As far as fast food places go, it’s pretty decent. This location, however, isn’t the best I’ve ever been to. They were out of tartar sauce for my fish sandwich once(which the woman apologized profusely, but I was still disappointed since I’d already paid) and the place really isn’t kept as clean as it should be. But I am all about the frosty — ORIGINAL, not vanilla — and that will bring me back time after time after time.

I’m not really a fan of fast foods, but when I get the hankerin’, I head to Wendy’s. Unfortunately, there aren’t too many Wendy’s in the area. Luckily, Ballard is close enough to justify the drive and far enough to discourage a daily visit. It’s more like once every few months really. I used to love Wendy’s as a kid because the one near my house had a salad bar and baked potato«fixins» bar. That was the best, but now it’s just like the rest of’em. Though, the frosty is what brings me back time and time again. A medium frosty with a biggie fries. See, what I love to do is dip my fries in the frosty. I’m sure some of you out there have heard of this before, but for those of you who haven’t had the privilege yet, go try it! It’s the best. Dave Thomas(R.I.P.), the man was a genius!

Of all of the fast food places I’m under the illusion that Wendy’s has the least amount of genetically altered items.(I think it’s because there’s real lettuce on the burgers?) So when I’m short on time and have to eat something before one of my man-boobies starts to deflate, I like Wendy’s. Anyway, two weeks ago I was swamped with work and I went to this location three times in one week. On the third visit, the guy in the first window said«Hey welcome back, you’re getting to be a real regular». I no longer eat here. I do however, do sit-ups. Three whole ones a day, as a reminder.

We’re taught not to compare apples with oranges. With that in mind, I’m going to review what I typically get at any fast-food burger joint: two plain double cheeseburgers, in Wendy’s case, 2 double stacks w/cheese at 99 cents apiece. The immediate comparison would be McDonald’s double cheeseburgers, either at 99 cents or maybe $ 1. McDonald’s(at every single location) gives me a piping hot, juicy burger with lightly melted cheese and fresh hamburger buns, every single time without fail. Wendy’s gives me artificially hot burgers(like the bun has been in a warmer all day). The bun is dried out and flavorless. The meat doesn’t really taste like meat at all. The cheese doesn’t even have the cajones for me to believe it’s genuine American cheese. It’s probably Ukrainian goat cheese that Wendy’s got on sale at some kind of international swap meet. Bottom line: is no good. And if Wendy’s can’t compete on a signature item I’m inclined to believe it can’t compete on the rest of its menu items. Mind you, I’m eating some lukewarm chicken tenders and they taste ai’aight. But I can purchase chicken tenders in bulk at my local grocery store. We were served them daily in the elementary school cafeteria. Don’t make me have to compare Wendy’s with my elementary school cafeteria. Please.
