Fantastic service, first on the phone, then in person. Clean, friendly, good rates. I recently moved into the neighborhood and they genuinely welcomed me. It felt very much like I was a part of the community. Also, I’m not incredibly handy and their counsel was helpful and not at all condescending. I feel like I could ask any question and it would be ok. Thanks!

We’ve been going here for years. They always have what I’ve needed for home repair and work in the yard. The staff is always pleasant and helpful and the prices are good. Outstanding service.

They seem to have a lot of things to choose from and their rates aren’t bad. Even gave me a discount when one of the tools I rented didn’t work at all for the job I needed (I got the wrong tool). They didn’t have to do that, so it was nice.

I have been meaning to review these guys for a while. The previous review is right about pricing compared to the Big Box stores but fails to mention that White Center Tool Rental also has a far larger variety of tools than those others. In addition to stuff that a homeowner (or renter) would probably never own, there’s more common stuff that you might need but not want to purchase: drills, hammers, nail guns, crow bars, etc. They also have automotive stuff like engine cranes and stands, gear pullers, valve spring compressors, etc.
And, on top of the breadth of items they have for rent, they are extremely friendly and it is a local, family-​owned and operated business. You will see the same people every time you go there. They will remember you.
So, in summary, they’re cheaper, offer more options and are genuine, nice people. Support them.

This is the place to go in White Center for rentals. Sure Home Depot has rentals too… but they are usually WAY more expensive. I have rented, chippers, cement mixers, trenching tools, and various other items that a homeowner occasionally needs but has no need to own. Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable… I can definitely recommend coming here first. If they don’t have it… then I might go somewhere else… but I always come here first.
