I never made it back to the Yard House in Seattle, but did make it to the Portland one. And it was great had the pork dip sandwich and it was exceptional. The bar was packed every seat, game six was on. Deborah behind the bar was super, she was so busy, but always had a smile on her face and still made time for each patron she was taking care of. I left this YH with a great mood, and that’s part of it. When you leave a place and it stays with you…

Bartender Nikki rocks! Multi tasking Diva, and she still smiles! Starving and thirsty I stopped here for lunch around 1:20pm. Sat at bar opposite to entrance. Went ignored. Waited for hostess for a table for one — she was weeded. Waiter sits me… was way in back of house, near kitchen, in middle, occupying a 4-top. I decline(seriously, middle of dining room for 1 person?) I sit on other side of bar. Nikki appears! She is multitasking serving drinks for bar patrons AND the service well. Other bartender… well, as blazé as can be. She has enough energy to share and then some! Mgmt, help her out. Pair her with someone who will pull his weight. Thanks, Nikki!

We’ve eaten at Yard House Portland and decided to try the one in Seattle. Just as delicious – lots of beer and food options. I had the Maui Pineapple Chicken and my boyfriend had the enchilada. Both were great! Our waitress was amazing – super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend Yard House!

Stumbled upon this great beer and food spot just as we needed it most. Friendly staff, awesome classic rock music, and a huge beer selection make this a place to relax after walking the city. We each had the chicken BBQ pizza, but mine was stopped with Gardein vegetarian chicken. The pizza was really great with thin crust and flavorful sauce and onions. We also enjoyed the spicy edamame with a garlicy chili sauce. This was a solid spot for a casual dinner.

The hard thing about writing reviews is sometimes I don’t know if the food was great or if I was just hungry. When in doubt, 3 stars. Especially when it’s pub-type food. If you’re famished and they bring you free bread(and it’s good bread) 3.5 stars. This place brought me free bread. And butter. *(Yelp, please get on board with half stars)* I had a Pastrami Benedict Burger, which is a burger with fried egg, pastrami, and bearnaise sauce. It’s a very good burger. The Pastrami specifically was underwhelming. But underwhelming pastrami is still pretty great. Especially paired with an egg. I’d order it again, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it. The fries were crispy and salted just enough for my taste. But tastes vary… In an earlier review I said this place was too«wide open», but I redact that because I’d just moved back from Manhattan and everything felt that way… But I’ll say if you want cozy this is not the place for it.

I have really enjoyed this restaurant for both happy hour and dinner. It is always packed due to its popular downtown location, but I always manage to find a seat and service has also always been great. Food orders come up quickly and drinks are made just right. Most recently I met my cousin there for happy hour and we enjoyed the seared ahi tuna, mushroom lettuce wraps, and crab cakes. My cousin hadn’t had seared ahi before and was blown away. I order this regularly and was pleased with how generous the offering was, however it wasn’t necessarily a 4-star dish. The lettuce wraps were ideal — lettuce was fresh and able to hold the contents inside. I would order this again in a heartbeat. The crab cakes were pretty standard, but good. For drinks we ordered Moscow mules and were both quite happy with our meal. Will continue bringing visitors to this spot!

love love loved it. The atmosphere was awesome — good music, sports on every tv, plenty of space to have a conversation and laugh without feeling like your being disruptive. the food and service were top notch. Had every type of food you could possibly want, most house made. DELISH. burgers were great. Huge beer selection too. Quantity and quality. **Michelle was one of the best waitresses I’ve had in a long time. Very knowledgeable and made us feel like we were home.

I can’t say enough how I love this place. There are ton of beers that you can try well I don’t drink but I love the food here a lots!!! Happy Hour is the best! My favorite is Kung poa calamari and California roll(not a traditional roll like in Japanese restaurant though); it looks more like a poke but it’s so tasty! Oh and the chicken noodle is all time favorite. The portion is huge I’d recommend to go with friend(s) so you can share and try more food

What a great little place for Lunch in the city. Was in town at the convention center and went out adventuring looking for lunch. We ran across this place and were glad we did. The service was great. Our Waitress was extremely helpful and full of great recommendations. Lots of great beer on Tap. Unfortunately for us we went for the largest sizes available so we didn’t get to try many of the options. But what we did order we loved. The Menu has a lot of great options. I’m a fan of Lamb Burgers so I had to give Yard houses a try. It was one of the best I’ve ever had. I upgraded to Truffle fries for a $ 1 more. Totally worth it. My buddy had the cheese wrapped Taco’s. They looked as good as the Unilocal pictures present them. Overall very successful lunch. We both left happy and wanting to come back from seconds. Next time we are in town we will make sure to stop by the Yard House again.

This place was awesome! I splurged and got the lobster garlic noodles. I could eat that everyday! It was not deeming in oil and butter, it was not too salty and most of all you did not get sick of it halfway and feel like you paid too much. I had the refresher cocktail which was delicious! I would totally order it again. It was flavorful with just the right amount of seasoning. The meat was enough that I was still eating lobster at the end. There was just the right amount of butter and oil to get the noodles moist but not dripping. Good job yard house! I also tried the vodka shrimp. It was delicious. It was my daughters birthday so my brother bought her a crème brûlée. It was super cute with happy birthday. She was so bright eyed when it came out and it was delicious. I will put this on my list of places to try again.

I’m a fan! I loved the options of beers. I loved the food options for happy. My tap beer was only 4.75 ill take it. I got the Hawaiian beer and let me tell you i was sooo happy with that choice. The bartender was great! The service was perfect during HH. I was happy to actually come to this bar and enjoy my self. They didn’t bother us after we paid our bill and we just talked and digested our food. We for the taco, which was OK! We got the bbq pizza which was amazing. We also got the egg rolls and then realized they had nuts while making them SOOO we said NO. We also got a pineapple mule which was sooo tasty. If your looking for a place. The atmosphere is chill and relaxed, with a boutique sleek bar like feel. if you are in the area please stop by and check it out!

After a long day of being outside in cool air of Seattle we decided to have drink inside to defrost. It was Super Bowl Sunday. We arrived around 2pm and had no trouble getting a seat at the bar. We were greeted by Daniel, one of the bartenders. By the start of game time they must have had at least 5 bartenders. We ordered the Strawberry Fields and the Black Orchid to start. Both were tasty. We then moved onto beers. This place must have had 40 – 50 beers on tap. For appetizers we had the truffle fries and the buffalo wings. Both were excellent. As game time neared this place really started to fill up. All the bartenders were attentive and checked on us regularly. Was a fun place to sit and watch the game.

I had a great time at yard house on Friday. It was sort of busy when I got there but I was seated fairly quickly, server came around 2⁄3 times to check on me while I waited for my friends. Super friendly and gave us some good recommendations for food. We ended up ordering a couple dishes to share between three people. We ordered the crispy Brussels sprout, duck wings, blue crab crab cakes, and shrimp and tofu lettuce wraps. The duck wings were surprisingly good, we were all expecting it to be chewy but they were tender and good flavor. I think I ate most of the Brussels sprouts because I had been craving those for a while. I mean overall we had a good time here. We were here drinking for awhile and our server was really friendly so we’ll definitely be back.

AWESOME Happy Hour! Came in for a couple beers and got some great food with it. The food on happy hour is pretty inexpensive, only $ 5 – 7 a plate and they hook it up on the portion sizes. My girlfriend and I definitely ordered too much with 3 plates but it was all tasty so we pigged out some and it was all good.

Yard House was a great experience from start to finish. Our waitress, Ashley, was extremely helpful and friendly. The menu is absolutely enormous, but Ashley took the time to walk us through each section with her recommendations. Per her recommendation, I had the halibut and was not disappointed. It was delicious. The beer/cider list is also quite large. When deciding between a couple of options, we were able to get tasting pours to make the decision. A great option in Seattle!

Fantastic surprise — the food was really well executed. I’ve apparently gotten used to average mediocre sports pub saying they have good food, but knowing it probably isn’t true, so Yard House was a great surprise. Beer 4.5÷5 They have really interesting beers(not just a long list of standards, but unusual ones as well). I found quite a few Belgians, a saison, and a gose. They also have a long list of IPAs from the well-balanced to the hoppy as hell, a good selection of ciders, and some delicious porters just to name my favorites. Service 4⁄5: We went in to watch a Seahawks game at the bar and had good service which is hard to do when it’s so busy! The bartenders worked as a team rather than being strictly territorial and it makes a lot of difference when it’s that busy. Food 4.5÷5: We started with the seared ahi sashimi and it was fabulous. The French onion soup had a great depth of flavor and just the right amount of croûton and cheese. Burgers were cooked to the right temperature and the fries were crisp, tender, tasty.

Second time I’ve sat at the bar in front of Sergei and been totally ignored. Two cute girls walked in after me and we’re served right away and got some extra attention. I had to wait for a bartender from the other end before I could get a beer. Once I got a beer, space dust, I really enjoyed it. The vampire taco was nice as well. Cool selection of beers, a couple of interesting items on the menu, good happy hour, but one lousy bartender. I’ll sit at the other end next time.
