Love this place! Awesome food! Their salads are amazing. And the owner rocks! Gotta respect a owner who also knows how to work ;)

I can’t believe this CHAIN pizza place is claiming to have to close due to the minimum wage going up. It probably has more to do with their numerous health code violations than wages. Plenty of mom & pop stores are doing fine with the increased minimum wage. I say good riddance if they’re not willing to pay a living wage.

I went in for the vegan pizza which I heard had vegan cheese on it. It was so lightly sprinkled on that they might as well just call it a pizza without cheese(which is still just fine in many cases). The veggies, sausage crumbles, service, and everything else was great! So if the portion of vegan cheese to pizza was the same as regular cheese to pizza this would be 5-Star! Charge more if you must! :)

Best gluten free crust in the city. Always a great experience with delivery, both small orders at home and much larger for corporate events. Ibslways recommend Z. With so many pizza choices its easy to go wrong but not with Z!

Not a bad pizza shop on the hill. PROS: Beer on tap Options other than pizza Fair pricing Quick pre-made pizza slices Delivery CONS: Pizza slices available are so-so. Recommend making your own pizza to go Salad is awful. Very plain and not worth the $$

Best Vegan Pizza Ever!!! And the girl that said if you wait to eat the pizza it gets hard you are insane. I am the only vegan in my apartment and I will eat leftovers the next day. Amazing pizza period!

I have been enjoying the gluten free pizza here for almost a year, always delivery. Today when I tried to order I was told that the driver doesn’t want to drive«all the way out there». I live exactly 2.6 miles away from the restaurant. The guy who took my call informed me that despite the fact that they ALWAYS deliver my only option today is pick up because the driver just doesn’t want to drive that far. There are a lot of descent pizza places in the area, I’ll just take my business to one of those.

They have delivered to my house before and today since I am .5 miles outside their 2.0 mile delivery range TODAY they’ve changed their mind and said now we won’t deliver to you but you can pick it up. I have ordered numerous times and they are at my house in no time. Food is good but unreasonable lack of service consistency is unacceptable. If they cared about their customers they would continue to delivery to previously acceptable homes and change it for new customers that are BARELY outside their delivery range. DON’T support business that don’t care about their longtime customers. It will begin to show in their food and I’m not going to wait to become a victim of another good restaurant that stops caring about customers and then the food is next… ALWAYS.

Amazing pizza I can’t believe I’m lucky enough to have it just downstairs! My favorite in the city so far great, options for vegans too.

I do not normally like gluten-free food however their pizza with the gluten-free crust is pretty amazing I must say! Also the online ordering works really well and keeps you from having to spend time on hold on the phone during peak hours or do you have to repeat addresses or the spelling of your name.

This pizza was *terrible*. I feel like I wasted the calories required to consume it, like I want to induce vomiting so that I can return the unneeded portion of this execrable meal to nature so that I can try again in order to consume something that doesn’t taste like cardboard. We could have saved time and money by going to get a red baron pizza from Safeway instead of this colossal pizza failure. I almost never order out, but was very tired, went for a run, and we have no food to speak of in the house. Thoughts turned to pizza, but I really didn’t want any special pizza, and Piecora’s is now closed. So I tried to order something safe and flavorful: double pepperoni pizza with pepproncini peppers, and since the oregano and basil was free, why not? I have a topping left? Throw on some extra Parmesan! Then 45 minutes of anticipation in which I made a kale salad and ate it. When the doorbell finally rang, and we got our pizza, I hurriedly went upstairs and sat on the couch to open it. It did not look good, but I was willing to give it the benefit of the doubt. I put some red peppers on it and bit into it. And it was completely bland. Utterly bland. It was as if it had been brought to our door by a flavor vampire who had sucked out all the taste. Is it possible that zpizza is actually a front company? Do they siphon the pizza taste out of their pizza for resale on the commodities market? I want to reinforce that none of the ingredients on this pizza *should* have been mild. Pepperoni. Pepperoncini. Basil. Oregano. Mozzerella cheese. We tried them all separately and in combinations, full of disbelief that we’d just paid $ 20 for this utter failure to show up at our door. But the verdict was inescapable. No part of this pizza was good. Not the pepperoni, my wife’s comment on it: «what is it made out of»? My best guess is that it’s made out of eraser dust mixed with pencil shavings and glued together with leftover candle wax. Not the basil, it could have been colored paper. Not the awful oregano, the miserable mozzarella, or the sorry sauce. No! Every ingredient from the top right down to the crappy crust was beyond help. And the whole was somehow less than the sum of the parts. I can only imagine that in the years to come the delivery staff will need therapy to deal with the fact that they were responsible for distributing this lifeless«food». So, recommendation? *Do* *not* order any zpizza. Order domino’s. Discover frozen pizza hiding in the bottom of a long lost freezer. Hell, give up food and subscribe to soylent, but under no circumstances subject yourself to this moment of culinary meh. This public service message brought to you by sadness and regret.

I came here a while back with some friends for a task we had to do which involved«exploring Seattle,» in particular the Capitol Hill/Broadway area. After we were done traipsing around the neighborhood, we decided to stop at zpizza just for the heck of it(no one really wanted to walk into Panera). I ordered the turkey sandwich but wasn’t spectacularly blown away by it. Zpizza prides itself on being organic and free trade and vegan and gluten free and all the associated good vibes that sound cool on paper and all, but somewhat ehhh when it’s actually on your plate. The sandwich was decent; I can’t complain about it, but I found it more to be sustenance than something I genuinely enjoyed as food. For $ 6.50 it’s okk, but there are better deals out there. If you’re a true fan of green/sustainable eating(and I salute you for it) you’ll love this place. But it was a fairly ho-hum place for me, hence the 3 stars.

3 stars for the food and service, +1 star for clearly labeled gluten free options. Delivery always takes an hour, even if you are a 10 – 15 minute drive from the store. Their gluten free crust is pretty delicious. Thin and slightly crispy, with good texture and flavor. Several of my friends have had the pizza with me and said they wouldn’t have guessed it was gluten free without being told. However, the gf crust being thinner means it is usually a bit burned around the edges, whereas their normal crusts come out without the char. Perhaps they should decrease their bake time a bit for these. Love the huge variety of toppings to choose from. My weird pizza ideas can(and frequently do) become realities here. Will eat here again(and again).

For a chain, I cannot believe how good the pizza is. Its not like any other generic chain pizza place, it has local color and character. I had the bbq chicken pizza which was brilliantly flavored and had pieces of chicken on it that were ACTUALLY fresh and not some frozen gross ex-chicken bits. My friend had the vegan pizza(he came back for thirds). Super friendly and cool employees. Very cap hill.

I came here twice in one day it was so good! Ah, what I love about places like this is that it doesn’t look like a chain. From what I understand though, it is a chain! The staff was really nice and upbeat. The food was great(I have the vegan pizza that was already made and just needed to be heated). It was quick and it was delicious. I’ve been to lots of places that have vegan pizza and I was not disappointed by this location. Its not my favourite place ever, but I would return if ever I was in Seattle again. Two quick things I really enjoyed: the seats were super comfortable and the bathrooms were REALLY clean(and smelt really good!)

I called to order take and bake pizza — Berkeley Vegan for me, ham and pineapple for the non-vegan boyfriend. TOTALLY taken back by the plate of vegan cookies near the register! The green tea, mint, and chocolate chip cookies are DELICIOUS! Don’t let the color deceive you! Trust me! BEST vegan pizza I’ve ever had since going vegan. Holy. Shit.

This is my first time ordering here(for delivery). I didn’t even know about it until I Unilocaled it. I ordered the Large 14″ pepperoni pizza– they use certified organic tomato sauce, low-fat cheese, and the pepperoni is msg free. You can either choose from regular or wheat crust. You will certainly taste the difference from a regular pizza like from Pizza hut or Domino’s. I also added the Parmesan Flatbread Sticks– baked pizza dough topped with garlic butter and parmesan cheese; served with homemade marinara sauce and the Zwings — crisped chicken wings tangy buffalo or sweet barbecue(I ordered the barbecue and it was really good.) and of course it comes with ranch dipping. You guys should really give this place a try. Though I can’t tell you much about inside the place cause I have never been there I can tell you that the food is really delish and worth the money.

If life were fair, Z Pizza would have to subsidize my gym membership. Please contact me to set this up, guys. I love everything about this place. The interior is perfect for a casual dining place. They have rotating daily slices, great unique topping ideas, gluten free and vegan options for your dietary restricted friends… Delivery is also great– quick, friendly, and tasty. My favorite is the arugula salad no walnuts add chicken or the pita and hummus appetizer. Portions are huge! You can thank me later, if I am not already there stuffing my face.

Really nice staff. They made a vegetarian pizza for me even though I was ordering slices. Accommodating and friendly. Definitely a pleasure to deal with. The particular flavor I ordered was new to me and not the best, but I imagine their other varieties are good. Check this place out based on the friendly employees alone.

Ugh… I love this place! We have many options here in Vegas but not an organic pizza option! We came here twice! for a carb treat during this months short stay in Seattle. The service was super friendly and when I ordered the Berkley for the first time she said«yummmm it’s soo good!» How cool is that?! :) Z really stole my heart by having nooch, Italian mix and super spicy red pepper shakers!!! A nooch shaker?!! How awesome is that? The Greek salad of mixed greens and yummy olives was super great also. The crust on the pizza was perfect, we went with the gluten free option and it was perfect. Crisp but not hard. The toppings(I can’t stand too much Daiya yuck) were just the right amount also. If this place is a chain… I would love to buy a franchise and place it in Vegas! Nothing compares!
