Apple Creek Training & Lessons Center

My daughter took riding lessons with Carol for a couple of, years. We even leased a horse for a while. Then something happened. Even though my daughter volunteered for, summer camps, she was not reimbursed. She volunteered and rode in a how and was not given a video. It ended badly, I, think Carole had to work at a casino for extra money and got burned out. It was very sad.

Great place for summer riding camp. My eldest took the beginning camp last year and my youngest is taking it this year. They teach a lot in just five days. Carol is very attentive and sweet and the junior counselors are really great. Would highly recommend. Back next year for sure!

My 9 year-​old daughter has been taking lessons at Apple Creek for a few months now, and she absolutely loves it. I couldn’t say nicer things about Carol, the owner. She’s so sweet and patient, and has so much energy with the kids. She has several younger helpers that are always around; Jasmine is a favorite of ours. They’re all very knowledgeable and really take the time to educate the kids instead of throwing them up on a horse and trotting them around (Carol always makes sure to teach the kids about the breeds of horses and their different body parts, and how to behave around horses). The horses are all very sweet, and very used to being ridden by young children. They have been well trained– they will often «help» the kids by putting their noses in their hackamores and halters, or will lift their legs for a hoof cleaning. The property is large and well-​maintained, the barns and stables are clean, and the horses are all healthy and well cared for. Carol’s prices are very reasonable, and well worth it. I would recommend Apple Creek without a second thought!

This place is a gem. My daughter has been taking lessons from Carol for a couple of months now and we are very happy. Carol is very easy going and patient with our beginner. The facility is always clean and rates are reasonable. I strongly recommend Apple Creek Stables.

Great little place with lots of good, patient lesson horses and good (and patient) teachers. My daughter and I ride with Casey who is awesome. she has the patience and sensitivity for my 4 year old who is learning to ride and the knowledge & expertise for me who has been riding and competing for almost 30 (gulp) years.

APPLE CREEK IS OPEN! My daughter has been taking lessons at Apple Creek for about 8 years. This is a fantastic barn with a great trainer, lovely well behaved horses, solid training and is exceptionally clean. Great place for anyone 4 – 104. (My daughter has had several trainers and feels Carol Fricke of Apple Creek is the best!)
English/​Western/​Shows/​Playdates and more. Oh and pricing is very competitive. Boarding too.
