Update: After seeing my Unilocal review the owner, Mark Benedetti, called me on 1÷6÷2016. He expressed that he wanted to fix the problem, that he would not want anyone to drive around with this undiagnosed problem. He asked if I would bring the car in, no charge. Brought it in the next day. Their ace tech «Ken» did the drive to interpret the rubbing/​bumping sound.
As it turns out, as front-​office-​Mike explained on the phone, two defective tires were causing the noise. These were replaced. And, as it turns out, the car actually doesn’t need a $ 1376.12 shock replacement job at this time.
Mark Benedetti’s intervention and Ken’s troubleshooting skills are greatly appreciated.

What a positive first experience at Benedetti’s. We had a bad wheel bearing and they got us right in and replaced the bearing and it works brilliantly now. Reese was a great help in getting everything set up and working through the process. Always felt like he was dealing with me honestly and working to take good care of us and our car. Thanks for the help.

I took my wife’s VW Beetle in when her tail light went out… those lights are very difficult to change. I drove in and asked if they could help replace the bulb — in just 3 minutes a service tech jumped on it and removed the tail light assembly. He did not have a replacement bald in inventory so he asked me to run across the street to the auto supply store and pick up a couple bulbs, which I did.
In 5 to 10 minutes he had the bulbs replaced and when I asked him how much I owed him, he said: don’t worry about it!“
That is unbelievable service!
I go there for everything now.

The guys at Benedettis are the kindest, most patient people I have ever worked with. I know NOTHING about cars, and am therefore hard to work with. However, I was lucky enough to have Reece taking care of me, explaining my situation to me numerous times so I could understand, giving me multiple options, and providing me with all the information I would need to deal with a shitty car situation. I’ll stress the patience part of this team, because they have been helping me for the past few months! I will be going to them for every car related problem in the future!

Having had less than great experiences with the mechanics at the local Honda dealership, I asked friends for a recommendation for a good, local & HONEST mechanic. Benedetti’s was mentioned a couple of times– I hesitated because– wait– isn’t this a tire place? I had a complicated electrical/​air conditioning problem with my 10 year old car that could cost up to $ 1000 to repair! I called and was assured that they do this kind of work so I made the appt and cancelled my appt at the dealership. I am so thrilled that I did!!! SCOTT had experience with my issue and was able to manipulate the controls and get everything working correctly again– saving me several hundreds of $$$!!! I am totally convinced the dealership would NOT have even tried what SCOTT did! I am so impressed with Scott & Benedetti’s– this is my new car repair place and I will be singing their praises to everyone I know!

Great service! From the time I drove up they were very helpful. Carl did a great job of listening to my situation and making sure the job was finished when promised. Thanks to all at the shop. I made it back in time to see my kids in their school play!

Excellent Service, good prices, and friendly staff. I really recommend Benedetti for routine car maintenance. They walked me through everything that needed to get done, and explained the process. Helped me get my car up to good running condition for an affordable price.

We have taken the family cars here for years for new tires, tire rotation and for flats. No complaints, they have always done a good job. They squeeze you in if needed. They stick to their estimates and call when the car is ready, or find me if I am in the waiting area. I am going to try them for some other front end repairs, after being made unhappy elsewhere. Didn’t actually know that they did things besides tires!
updating– I still love this place. I have been in twice in the last 2 weeks. I stopped by today without an appointment when my service light on the dash came on unexpectedly. They did the computer diagnostic to check for codes– found none, and the light had gone off– so nothing to actually do unless it came back on-​but amazingly I was not charged anything. I generally expect when I have to take my car into ‘the shop’, not to get out without spending a few hundred dollars– made my day to get a freebie. Thanks Benedetti Tire!

I started bringing my Prius here a year ago and love this shop. They are always pleasant, helpful, knowledgable. Much more convenient than the dealer and always a good experience for me.

Benedetti tire is the real deal, a family owned local business that does things right and stands behind their work. Very friendly, helpful, knowledgable, and service oriented. The people there really seem to know and love tires. A dream for a tire shop!
Not only did they do a great job finding and installing super good tires on my X3, they also did extra research to fine tune everything to make my difficult to fit BMW get the best fit possible. They also have done super fast and high quality tire patches for me on no notice when I have needed them. And to top it off, they even gave my 4 year old a demo on how to change the oil, which she was amazingly riveted to while watching.
If you spend time in and around Sebastopol, this is the place to get your tires done.

Had a screw in my tire this morning. Mark was able to get me in and back on the road safely.

Recently I had a starter replaced. The refurbished starter was not a good one and they replaced it with a new one after the second install .
I felt confident that the job would be done right after talking to Reece (front desk) .
He followed through with the job personally, to oversee that it was done right .
Really appreciated his professionalism. He made me feel a lot more comfortable .
I would ask for him if your a women and unsure of car issues and need clarification.

Not too happy with the last oil change, they left me with large oil footprints all over my floor mats :(In the past, I have had just okay experiences… but not sure if I appreciate this trip to Benedetti or if I will be back.

The best place to go for an oil change! The guys are nice and efficient! I won’t go anywhere else! One time they even replaced my headlight because it was out. They give the best service and they care about their customers.

These guys come thru for me once again! In need of a tire — which usually means two — they researched — found tires that are equal to or better than those offered by Costco — at a better price. I am still happy with these guys after 30 plus years If you are a single lady — you can depend on these guys to be fair & honest with you! A winner in so many ways!

Been taking my cars here for about 6 years and have always been happy with the service and fair pricing.
I take my car there for all service now, not just tires.
Here’s why:
My previous vehicle was having a problem that no mechanic I took it to seemed able to diagnose and fix. I went to 5 different mechanics in Santa Rosa and Sebastopol, including the dealership. I took my car in to Benedetti for a tire service and didn’t even mention the issue I’d been having. About an hour later I got a phone call that they had diagnosed the pesky issue that no one else could fix and wanted my approval to perfom the necessary repair. Woohoo!
That was 4 years ago.
Staff has alwys been friendly and happy to explain their answers to any questions I may have.

Always hate going to get my car service… almost as bad as a dentist!
Usually I get talked down to, get snarled at and charged arms and legs with no explanation.
This, however is not the case at Benedetti Tires! Informative, friendly, and get you in and out on time. Cost is shown up front with a explanation. Great to work with.

Yes, my families fleet of cars (5) has been getting tire and alignment service here since they opened and always enjoyed friendly service, but recently one of our cars tire developed a slow leak in the side wall in the recessed letter impressions of the manufacturer.
The Manager claimed because we had scuff marks on the side wall and I had plug patched the tire, we had likely run the tire under pressure and weakened the sidewall which caused the leak.
Chicken sh** explanation for a longtime customer.
Who doesn’t get scuff marks on their tires parking.
He dinged me nearly $ 200 bucks for the new tire, no compromise, no nothing!

I’m terrified of anything having to do with cars and get serious anxiety about it.
I kept putting off getting my oil changed. But I knew I had to go.
So one day I mustered up the courage and drove down to Benedetti.
Not only were they fast, they were sweet, and gave me ten dollars off!
Yes let’s recount that:
Cheap
Fast
and
NICE?
You don’t get that combination often. Plus it’s a 2 minute drive for me, so I will be back here until the day I leave Sebastopol.

Great, quick, reliable service. They are straight up, won’t try and oversell you and want to take care of you instead of just get you out of there. It’s a small town so everyone knows everyone, which I like.
