We took our Doberman to Joellen when he was just 6 months old. The training he received has stuck with him for FOUR YEARS! We still use Joellen’s methods and have a great dog that is mellow, plays great with other dogs and children, comes on command and stays near us even off leash. We LOVE Diamonds in the Ruff training and highly recommend it.

Joellen has provided me with so much information and training tips to help our behaviorally challenged dog. She gave us written material that we can always refer back to and is always there to answer questions that come up. I use her techniques every single day in walking our ‘reactive rover’, and they have really worked and made things go so much more smoothly. Not only does Joellen care about the dogs she works with, but she cares about the people who come with them!

I just started lessons with Joellen and she definitely knows her stuff. She has an extensive background working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments but more importantly she knows how to teach. I have found Joellen to be very patient with me and my new dog as well as flexible to scheduling lessons. I feel confident in taking home the skills I learn at the lessons and can already see positive results. In just a short amount of time my dog has picked up on basic skills and has made outings more enjoyable. I look forward to more lessons and maybe even some agility classes someday.
