Third time in a row Flower Song Florist in Sebastopol has nailed it! I am also so happy to see the revamped florist shop space in the heart of our downtown district. It is truly a breath of fresh air, and such a wonderful compliment to our contemporary and artistic town. However it is the exemplary service and quality floral designs that have won me over and made this business my «go to» for thoughtful gifts and celebration accessories! For Thanksgiving, Christmas and my mother’s 87^th birthday (which is on New Years Eve) I treated myself, my guests, my family and my mother with arrangements from them. Each time I was listened to and worked with in a manner which brought my ideas and desires to fruition with professionalism and ease. It is so pleasant to have a business/​creative experience such as this. Thank you, Flower Song! I received a lovely arrangement for my 25^th wedding anniversary in late December. The arrangement was all white including roses and lilies, and so much more. It smelled as good as it looked. I was also happy that the flowers lasted thru the New Year, almost two weeks! Final bonus, I dropped by the shop other day to return the nice round vase and rocks inside to weight the flowers… I already have way too many vases at home so it felt nice to think it will get reused instead of cluttering up my already cluttered cabinet. I was very charmed by the elegant store. I have lived in Sebastopol for six years and never knew there was a flower shop here. Now I know!

I had just moved to town and we were having a house warming party. I told the woman that worked there that if they did a good job for the party I would perhaps use them bi-​monthly for fresh flowers. I ended up with one centerpiece for the dining table with a candle in the middle and a very small arrangement for our den and one moderate one for the kitchen. These three pretty basic arrangements came to $ 585. When they came I actually cried they were so dismal. I really wanted to be wowed and instead felt ripped off. I wanted to support local business but now I just go to Safeway where they have beautiful arrangements for ¹⁄₁₀^th the cost.

Flower Song did an arrangement for my dad and step-​mom in Bodega Bay back in November. It was probably the most beautiful arrangement I’ve ever seen! It wasn’t real big but had such unique flowers and plants. They did such an amazing job and we appreciated their creativity so much! My father told me they had guests for Thanksgiving and it was still beautiful for that occasion.

I’m a huge supporter of local businesses, I stopped by to purchase flowers, too much suprise there was not even 1 arrangement ready for walk in customers. I have never been to a florist that didn’t have a single pre-​made arrangement for walk in purchases. I then inquired if they had any in back, the lady seemed slightly annoyed & stated she could make one, I then informed her I could come back in 30 min. To pick it up, she then proceeded to tell me it would need to be 45 min. Unfortunatly that would not work for me & told her I will go across the street to Safeway, & see what they have to offer, well her attitude & time change & she said she could do it in 30 min. However, I didn’t appreciate her demeanor & really just wanted to pick up something & go so I kindly declined, I could tell this really irritated her, sorry next time have arrangements ready for customers like me! I also want to point out their parking situation is poor, since their off of main street & their vehicle takes the 1 of 3 spots in front of their store u have to go across the street, park in rite aid parking lot. Only 1 star for how they treated me, parking & lack of sincerity.

I have trusted Flower Song Florist for 2 deliveries thus far. They have created beautiful arrangements both times. The last time I ordered from Flower Song, I really wanted a specific color of flower and made notes on my online order to confirm that what I wanted was available. Unfortunately, I was not around my cell phone when they called me — twice — to let me know that they did not have the color I wanted. I really appreciated their efforts in trying to get a hold of me. They went ahead with the delivery and the recipient was very happy. My friend just lost her mother and the arrangement that she received made her smile and warmed her heart. The customer service at Flower Song Florist went above and beyond my expectations and I certainly appreciate it! Should I need flowers delivered in their delivery area again, I will FOR SURE be ordering from Flower Song Florist!

Flower Song is fantastic! ! My son was in a bind for Valentine’s Day and they really stepped in to help going beyond their delivery area on a day when they were obviously swamped. Beyond just saving the day in getting the flowers there on time, the arrangement of pink and red roses was stunning. I’m a fan for life.

Disappointed in the flowers delivered, not as advertised on the website. Although substitutes are allowed, the florist left out an important component of the arrangement and then made a joke of it when I called. He should know better than to make light of Mother’s Day flowers. Lots of greenery, not many flowers. Florist has agreed to replace arrangement. Will edit/​update review if that happens.
UPDATE: Replacement bouquet is substandard with even FEWER flowers than in the first bouquet! Very disappointed. Left on my porch on a 85 degree day even though we were home. Nice attempt to make it better however cannot recommend this florist and will not use this florist again.

I have been remiss in not posting a rating for this florist. I have used them many, many times and I usually call at the last minute. They have NEVER let me down. Today I called (at 1:30pm) for delivery today. It’s prom night in Sebastopol, the Apple Blossom Parade is tomorrow (and they will be closed) and yet he STILL was able to get a plant to my Mom for her 55^th Wedding Anniversary. My Dad is not with us anymore and I didn’t want to disappoint her. Because of Flower Song, she won’t be. I should also note that Flower Song did most of the flowers for my Dad’s funeral and they were all spectacular. Thank you to all of you there for covering me when I do things at the last second!

Wow, what a diamond in the rough. The owner, Robert, is a pleasure to work with! We checked out a couple florists for our wedding and ran into this recommendation from my mom, whom was familiar with their work. He was accomodating and understanding especially when we brought our hyper 3 yr old to the initial consultation. I was frank and said I was flower challenged and couldnt help in the way of making arrangements, but their wedding specialist was able to take the input I gave and create wonderful works of art. I wanted sunflowers and a non-​perfect circle bouquet (more of an abstract look) and Shauna hit it perfectly! I was amazed how everything turned out. It was effortless on our part. We highly recommend them for wedding and other events.

I am not one to write a review, but our experience here was so awful, I felt I had to do something. I would give zero stars if I could. My husband ordered me flowers for our wedding anniversary. First off, they didn’t arrive at my office until 4:30pm the day they were scheduled to arrive (the destination was literally a block from Flower Song). He was disappointed with that, as he thought they were going to arrive in the morning so I could enjoy them all day. My husband is not one to usually order flowers, so I was ecstatic that he did so and couldn’t wait to enjoy them. When I came into my office the next morning, they didn’t look too great, but didn’t think too much of it since they were from a florist and had to be «good» flowers. By the end of that day the flowers were starting to droop and had a dark tint to them. Not one rose was open. When I came into my office the next morning, every single rose (except for one) was drooped over and dying or dead. One rose did open, but was dead within a day. I was so sad, and also embarrassed to be have these drooped and dead flowers on my desk after only a day. My husband feels terrible too that one of the few times he did order flowers, they all died within a day and I didn’t even get to enjoy them. We will never be using Flower Song Florist again, which is a shame because we are local Sebastopol residents and love to support our local community.

I was in a jam: Flowers for Mother’s Day on Friday afternoon (I know, I am a terrible son). But I was able to hide that fact for one more year thanks to Robert and his incredible help. He was understanding, walked me through my options, and sent an orchid all the way to Bodega Bay that apparently knocked my mother’s socks off. I really appreciate Flower Song’s service, professionalism and fair price. I highly recommend them for your florist needs.
