Why did I wait so long to eat here??? Driving by, yet again, I pulled in today for an excellent lunch at a very price. Will definitely be back!

This is my go-to spot in Sebholio. I can always count on a good, inexpensive, not unhealthy meal here. I stay basic with #1 or, if I want that eye-rolling transcendence, just a tiny bit too hot feeling, I go with the #4.

Food was good, service was okay but slow. The servers were working hard and it seemed like food was cooked to order which should always take longer. Love the place.

We tried the falafel and lamb gyro and enjoyed them both. It was a cold rainy day and the owner also brought us some lentil soup to try without prompting. That was delicious. Also reasonably priced.

I had heard great things about this place so I tried it today. We had the lamb gyro and the deluxe falafel sandwich. Both were good but not excellent, especially for the price. If the included a small side salad, fries, or maybe tabouli with the sandwich I would say the price is good, but $ 9 for a small gyro seems steep to me. The pita, gyro meat, and falafel were all very moist. What I didn’t like is that we asked for suggestions, and she suggested the deluxe falafel, which was delicious but very spicy. She did not ask if we liked spicy food, and if we happened to not like spicyness then we would have been sorely disappointed with what we received. I would recommend trying it but I don’t think I will go back.

I just moved back to the area from NYC and I was happy to find a place to get decent authentic falafel in the area. I had one of their falafel platters with humus, baba ganoush, dolmas. Everything was good, especially the falafel balls. They are crispy and well spiced. I just wish the pita was soft and fresh and the portions could be a tad larger for the price.

I get the king falafel. So good. It’s about 2 meals, so I bring it home. But it’s amazing. I love love love this place. So fresh, fast, clean, and AMAZING

The best falafel sandwich I’ve had since my grandma use to make it herself from scratch in Israel and feed us that perfect blend of fried tastiness. I live in LA and come back home only ever so often. I wish there was a place this good anywhere in LA. Lets put it this way, If I stay for a weekend with my parents back home I eat falafel king at least 4x!

We had been to this place several times before and enjoyed both the food and nice talks with the owner. Last week’s visit, however, was more than disappointing and we will not be back. The server was nice and friendly, willing to take special requests, The servings, however, can only be described as ridiculously small, and the quality of the food was just poor. We payed close to $ 30 for two gyro plates(Oh yes, I tipped in advance. Bad mistake) and after politely mentioning our disappointment to the service staff. We were told that the boss had recently changed the menu and pricing and that there was nothing she could do. We left the place hungry and will go elsewhere in future.

One of my favorite little spots for lunch in Sebastopol, King Falafel aka«Kiing Falafi»(said in fake patois) is sure to satisfy. I love that they have gluten-free options for the sandwich wraps, and their falafels are always hot, crisp and fresh. The service is friendly, too. Big ups, Kiing Falafi!

I usually stick to the same thing, a gyro but today I saw the #21 combination when another customer got it. It was delicious! I had never had a falafel before. I cleaned my plate completely. The employees are very friendly and had me sample a falafel before I ordered. I do recommend this restaurant.

Not even close to one of my favorite places. I love Middle Eastern food but for my personal tastes the food is kind of bland. With full disclosure my girlfriend does enjoy the place. But what does she know she’s dating me. LOL

I don’t know about all the other reviews, who give this place bad reviews. Came in this afternoon, was craving a Gyro. 4pm Saturday afternoon and no other customers are here. Unassuming looking on the outside, and simply decorated inside. Service was quick and friendly. Food came up in a reasonable time. Menu has veggie, and meat options. The Gyro I had today, had been the best I’ve had so far in the north bay. This is the 3rd Middle Eastern restaurant I’ve found. One in Napa, Gyro was ok. One in Rohnert Park, was better than one in Napa. This one, at King Falafel, has been the best so far. In my opinion. I’ll be back again to try out other items on the menu. The Turkish coffee is outstanding. Not to often you can find places serve Turkish coffee. This place seems like a hidden gem, in my opinion.

I was VERY disappointed with this place. The day I tried it I was famished. I’d spent hours rushing around town lugging heavy shopping bags, so by the time I made it there I was shaking and my stomach was growling. I ordered the sample plate for $ 9.99 thinking it would be enough to fill me up and then some. I was wrong. The food, while delicious, was in miniscule portions. I ate every morsel and left still hungry, feeling cheated. Here’s what was on the unnecessarily large plate they brought me: 3 pieces of falafel(hot and crispy, no problem there), 3 dolmas(also excellent), a thin scraping of hummus with a pool of oil in the center, a tiny bit of baba ghanouj(ditto on the oil), a spoonful of tabbouleh salad(mostly parsley, not great), and an incredibly small and flimsy piece of pita bread divided in quarters. Whole, it must have been about the size of a small«slider» sized taco shell. Oh, and there was a container of shatta(a spicy pepper sauce) in place of tahini since the owner kindly mentioned that there’s dairy in the latter. Most of the food was of perfectly good quality and seemed fresh. I just wish there had been more of it, and for 10 bucks there should have been. I probably won’t go there again since I don’t enjoy being ripped off.

First time here, the owner James, from Jordan, helped us figure out what best to order today. We shared a king falafel with 14 toppings and have to say, awesome. As we waited, James brought us a shall plate of dolmas. I’m not an expert in this kind of cuisine. But that’s the best dolma I’ve had this side of the Atlantic… The falafel was next, it had just the right heat, solid tzatziki(or similar cucumber dressing), perfectly well made falafel with the right crisp, the right spice, and made fresh to order. The other ingredients, some pickled, gave subtle flavors too. We loved it! We are coming back to try the rest soon!

The food is passable at best. It’s obviously not as a fresh as they claim, it tastes canned. If you want Arabic food in Sonoma County, Falafel House in Cotati is better.

I had the Deluxe Falafel Sandwich(#2 on the menu) served with hummus, tomato, lettuce, eggplant, pickles, tahini sauce, and shatta sauce. It was absolutely delicious. Food this good, this healthy, this low cal, and this flavorful is food that can make this life long meat eater appreciate that vegetarianism is possible. Wonderfully not boring, a genuine taste sensation. I will definitely make King Falafel a place to stop when I visit Sebastopol again.

With all of the rave reviews on Unilocal about this place, I was really excited to try it. I ordered the Supreme gyro plate which comes with a lamb/beef gyro and a side of baba ghannoj, tabouli salad, hummus, pickles & turnips. I’m very sad to say that the tabouli salad was missing that fresh Mediterranean taste. The salad was doused with olive oil and as a result, none of the other wonderful flavors were allowed to shine through. The hummus was pretty tasty and I did enjoy its overall flavor. The baba ghannoj however was not to my expectation. Authentic baba ghannoj should have that superb roasted eggplant taste throughout. This side dish was sadly bland anf barely appealing. I don’t personally like pickles or turnips, so I cant comment on those. The gyro on the other hand, was the star of the show. Very well seasoned & the meats were extremely flavorful. The tzatziki sauce was also an excellent flavor enhancement to the dish.

Everyone in our family to pick dad and eight year old to our one year old fresser. They have the best Mediterranean food around. They’re always friendly and have great fast service. We often ask for extra pita… and they give to us… for free!!! The falafels are amazing, the gyros are yummy, and the hummus scrumptious. And to wash it down I usually sip on a Reeds Extra Ginger Brew. Mmm my mouth is watering just thinking about our meal last night. They have another location in Cotati that is just as good. Enjoy!
