Sebastopol Skin Care By Ruth

I had a visit here before I left for Asia /​Europe trip. I really liked the beautiful setting and classic charm of her shop, it was really first class. The most interesting part … this shop is EXCLUSIVE ! I had to call and request an appointment, even then I had to name drop my referral to get a call back. One does not simply book an appointment here, it’s more of a kind request for one, then your going to have to wait and hope you make the grade. Lucky for me my girl friend is a regular. I couldn’t be more happy with the results.

I’ve been looking for a place to have my facial and a friend recommended Ruth in Sebastopol and i couldn’t be more satisfied and happy. Ruth is very professional and knowledgeable which made me feel relaxed because i know she knows what she’s doing. I haven’t had a facial in years and Ruth explained to me how the facial would run and what type of products she will be using. She also explained some steps on how i can take care of my skin to make it more radiant and less troublesome. I have a combination skin and she explained how i can condition my skin to balance it out especially when the weather turns which is when i am having more difficulty. She explained that she has been doing this for years and have dealt with a variety of skin conditions.
I also love the products that she used and she patiently explained how these works on my skin and where to get it if i wanted it. I asked her about certain procedures like microdermabrassion and chemical peels and she patiently explained to me how these procedures work, how it is done, and if my skin will benefit from it. Ruth is not pushy and helps me decide for myself and what i am comfortable doing since it’s my skin.
Overall, i had an outstanding experience with Sebastopol Skin Care and i will definitely recommend Ruth to all my friends and relatives for their facial and other skin care treatments. I already booked my next appointment :)

Ruth, though extremely talkative, was very careful and professional about her work, and I went for about 6 – 7 visits for electrolysis. Her approach was very slow, but she explained convinciingly why she thought her approach was better han quicker methods (more hairs removed in the same amount of time)
However, after one visit, where we did more work on one area than usual, I ended up very bruised near my mouth and chin, just before a trip abroad. I called, upset, just for advice and support but she did not return my call! I was so upset, scared and not knowing what to do.
I thought it was unconscionable that she did not call back.
I didnt think she caused it by doing something wrong except possibly working on one area too long as I was going away soon —Also, I had been given some cortisone which can increase bruising and figured that ocntributed, but I was upset and looked terrible and needed advice.
I then called weeks later when I got back, twice — as I wanted still to return and wanted to talk through why she had not called me back — I was extremely polite, though hurt, and called twice asking her to call back. She did not!
I find this totally unprofessional. I cannot feel safe with someone who would drop me after some damage as happened to me as a result of their work. I feel terrible.
