Seedlings has been the perfect transition into group care and school for my daughter. She started a year ago when she was 2 ½ years old. At the time she was used to spending all her time in a one-to-one environment(with me, other family or a few hours a week with a nanny). Juli is warm, caring, and understands early childhood development well to be supportive of this big transition. She has training in early childhood development and also is certified through Lifeways of North America(inspired by the works of Rudolf Steiner and the experience of Waldorf education) The rhythm of the day includes regular outdoor time. The children benefit from a clear rhythm of outdoor time and more quiet activity. They are taught to work together and be responsible for themselves with age-appropriate tasks(such as helping clear their own dish and napkin). Snack and lunch is healthful and organic. Weekly activities include song /music and creative arts such as painting and drawing. I am so grateful to have round Juli and Seedlings and have recommended it to friends with young children.
