Sturgeon Tree Service

I have used Sturgeon Tree Service for almost thirty years now at three different properties. They do a great job, and can handle jobs that almost seem impossible to do, from cutting down large limbs on a fir tree adjacent to our house to simple pruning of limbs to help balance out the tree. As an added treat, you get Dan Sturgeon great smile and sense of humor. A pleasure to work with this tree service.

Hired, to chip some brush and cut some trees, They knew exactly what to do, Dan Sturgeon is very knowledgable about trees (& birds) They worked like crazy and cleaned up perfectly. Cant IMAGINE ever hireing anyone elese. 5 big red stars !!!

I hired Sturgeon to take down a huge (60 – 70 feet?) acacia tree on my property which was leaning over a house and a fence. Acacia is very dense wood and I was concerned about having it done safely and without damage.
Dan and his crew arrived on time with all equipment, and begun the task of taking the tree apart limb by limb. They were polite, methodical, followed excellent safety measures to protect both the property and their crew, and cleaned up after themselves. Both of his crew guys have over 25 years experience and it shows in their work.
Voila! Sunshine and a completely new feel to a once dreary and closed-​in small urban yard, plus I don’t have to worry about the tree harming people or property now.
Dan offered me a few options of which services to choose before we began, and was fair, flexible, and very easy to work with.
Stellar experience, these are now my tree guys! Would definitely use again.
Extra: Sturgeon also has a free wood chip program, and a historic steam-​powered Sawmill in West Sebastopol that sells lumber and runs the old equipment for a few weekends every summer. So cool!

Dan, his brother and crew did a great job removing two large Catalpa trees on our property. Turns out he’s been trimming and cutting trees on this land for years with previous owners. He came out and gave us a good bid, was straightforward and easy to work with. The job was done in one day, chips piled for use in my garden and everything cleaned up. I’d recommend them to anyone looking for an experienced crew that will get the job done efficiently and thoroughly.

Really nice people, got the work done quickly and despite the fact that cars were parked under the trees. I’m very satisfied and though I live in a different town than Sturgeon, I’ll be calling them again if I need more tree work. Scheduling my work was also fast and convenient.

Dan & his crew did a great job for us. Our insurance company told us to remove limbs from around our house. We had many types of trees to be trimmed, and they carefully looked at each to make the necessary cuts, without overdoing it. Big difference from some other tree companies I’ve seen that just hack every tree the same. They also trimmed other unstable branches on the property, for no additional charge. We will definitely use them again.

Dan and his crew with Sturgeon Tree Service are highly professional, you will receive excellent service from a very reputable company that has been in business several generations, they may have very well wrote the book on all things tree and tree care– Hard to find this level of experience and workmanship for a reasonable cost anymore, I will be using them again, 5 Stars

Though we had a few hiccups in the scheduling process they did a wonderful job and at a great price. The were on time and did a great job with some difficult trees hanging over my and my neighbors house. I will definitly be reccomending them to others.
