Prices were big, portions were small and the kitchen got my order, which I confirmed with the server, completely backwards. Nice atmosphere being in such a lovely garden setting, but it didn’t make up for the food.

What a hidden gem! Great service, great food in a unique and beautiful environment! The turkey and cranberry sandwich was fantastic. This is out go-to place with any guests! They also have an adorable little play area for the kids.

Every time we visit my father in Sebring we must go to McLane’s Garden Café. The staff and owner are so friendly and willing to answer any questions we have and are always more than happy to make suggestions based on things we’ve liked before. It’s like sitting on your patio in your own garden and having lunch or dinner with your best friends! Their food is always great! They serve all kind of food– sandwiches, quiches, burgers, salads, etc. I would suggest the texas brisket sandwich with artichoke rangoons as a side and the triple berry tart for desert. They have never disappointed and we will look forward to going back for years to come!

Had lunch here and thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance and food. Beautiful gardens to wander and very unique menu. Very active for a Tuesday lunchtime. Had a bleu burger and hubby had a plain burger. His side was a carrot raisin salad he raved about. Our friend had the brisket special and it was a lovely presentation with corn and potatoes hash and young baby carrots that appeared pan sauteed or roasted. Our friend loved it. We also loved our server, a great lady. We passed on dessert, big helpings and this one is a keeper for future visits to Sebring.

Cute café with yummy, fresh(and vegetarian) options. The evening I went I was lucky enough to have dropped in when a triple berry tart and blood orange sorbet was on their dessert menu for the day. The garden is relaxing and the service is wonderful.

What a treat in Sebring! We were there on a chilly(for Florida!) day and started off with the tomato soup and my bf had the roasted red pepper soup. The tomato soup was very good but holy cow — the red pepper soup with smoked gouda was SOOO gouda! :p I had the grilled artichoke/spinach cheese sandwich and it was delicious. The owners are super nice! The chef/owner woman — i didn’t get her name — is so personable and she LOVES her job, and it shows. The place is in a garden(hence the name) and I would love to go back when the flowers are blooming. It must be so lovely. We were there in January for the plane show and it wasn’t season yet, so I hope to go back! Thanks for the great meal!

What a treat in the middle of Sebring. Visiting town to do some sports car racing at Sebring international and found this wonderful intimate café. I had the chicken salad with blue cheese with a light bbq blue dressing. Wonderful. From what I saw everyone was enjoying their meal. This little gem of a spot is Unpretentous and delicious. Family owned with a passion for their customers.

Al fresco dining is one of those perks we love to enjoy living in Florida. Floridians flock to outdoor cafes year round(except for those super sticky hot months of July and August) to enjoy fresh air under the stars. On a rainy day in Sebring, Chad and I found ourselves enjoying this open air dining concept amongst the flowers, just like the sign says at The Garden Café at McLane’s Country Garden. Of course, we were under a roof so we weren’t actually in the rain, but the space lacked walls so the cool breeze flowed into the dining room and the sound of the rain danced in our ears. Sounds like a setting for romance novel and it was. The day was gloomy and slightly cold, perfect weather for hot soup. I ordered a cup of the soup du jour which was New England Clam Chowder. It was thick and creamy, pretty good though it needed a little more flavor or salt. We split our entrees– the first of which was a Vegetable Quiche. The quiche menu consists of four flavors including spinach and bacon or Hawaiian quiche as part of the express lunch menu. Other items on the express menu include a few sandwiches like the turkey cranberry sandwich and the BLT. The express menu is designed for a quick in quick out dining experience. We, however, didn’t need to be in and out quickly so we enjoyed the quiche with roasted vegetables like broccoli and onions with herbs and melted cheese. The crust was golden and the quiche was creamy and hearty. Our second entrée was from the specialty sandwiches menu. We ordered the Spinach and Artichoke Grilled Cheese with melted Swiss, fresh spinach, artichokes and roasted red peppers. I always love variations on the classic grilled cheese and we both really enjoyed this spinach and artichoke version. Our sides included beans and rice and a garden salad. I loved the BBQ Blue Cheese dressing our server recommended to top the garden salad. We both loved the environment. We strolled through the gardens and admired the variety of plants and flowers. The whole property is serene and relaxing– a great place for a leisurely lunch. The service was good and the prices are reasonable.
