By far my favorite deli in the area, including Hoboken. They make the best mozzarella and their bread is baked fresh and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside just the way good Italian bread should be. Pastries are very good. Try the pasticiotti, pignoli tart or giant lobster tail.

Seriously, the best cannoli ever. Hand-filled to order and just the right amount of sweet. Get one for the road, even if you’re there for other goods.

This place does not do a good job at letting you know it’s an amazing deli. Some of the best sandwiches in Secaucus. It’s also one of the only places in the area to have tea biscuits.

7 years ago I was on a lunch break and saw a small sign that said«cannoli filled to order» … I ordered one. Took a few steps out of door and turned my a** right around and ordered another. These are hands down the best cannoli I’ve ever had and I lived in Italy for a year. 7 years later and I still go anytime I’m in the area. I want the recipe.

I have not been on site but plan on going soon based on the quality of baked goods that my sis brought for Thanksgiving. Pecan pie was one of the best I have had. Apple pie with crumbled topping … outstanding. She also brought a broccoli focaccia and an eggplant focaccia plus an assortment of pastries(Napoleon, lobster tail, Italian cheesecake, cookies). I understand that the price tag was very reasonable too. I will take that ride to Secaucus to buy pies here.

When we come to visit my fiancé’s family this place is always one of my favorite parts of the trip! Excellent cannolis, hand-filled on request!!! The Nutella Tart is amazing!!! A solid selection of breads, meats, cheeses, and baked goods. Not overwhelming on selection, but they make up for it in spades with quality. Extremely friendly staff! Definitely worth trying!

The best bread and Mozzarella in town hands down. The prices are pretty good. The only thing that stops me from 5 stars is the staff is not always the friendliest.

Cannot say enough how much i Love this place. Authentic NJ Italian bakery. I grew up in NJ and now that I am an ex-pat I just can’t find those delicacies I love anywhere else. Every time I go north I stop at Vito’s grab a couple stuffed breads(OMG I LOVETHESETHINGS), some pepper shooters, and a box of rainbow cookies. THAT is home to me. Service is acceptable. I know I wouldn’t be a darling serving indecisive people on my feet all day so — if they muster a smile — i’m happy.

From the pastries to the cakes. Very consistent. Bread is very good. Zeppoles are always good. 3 ½ stars

They make good Italian pastries, great Italian bread(try the Sinatra bread when you want a good sandwich) and ABSOLUTELYTHEBEST mozzarella I have ever tasted(keep in mind I’m Italian and from NY so I know what I’m talking about). Their mozzarella is like the most-requested item for me to bring to, or have at my house, by my friends and family. I do not like their cakes(very artificial tasting — why can’t people use butter in butter cream?)

I ordered some lace cookies, cheese crumb cake and carrot cake. The desserts were ok. However, the service was good and quick. May come back again.

Vito has an attitude but you can’t beat his bread and italian baked goods. My wife loves the bread sticks and I can’t resist the pepper Tarrali Barese The best bread you’ll find this side of Brooklyn. Excellent artichoke pie and pizza rustica, too.
