We were looking for a quick bite nearby & Unilocal is always there! This place is a little hole in the wall, literally. There are maybe 6 tables inside & about 8 more outside. We were greeted immediately & got to sit wherever we wanted. My fiancé and I each had the gyro & it was delicious! It also came with one side, I chose the watermelon, feta, mint & pine nut salad & he had the cup of chili, both tasty! If you want great service & good tasting fresh food come here! We finished off with tiramisu for dessert!

Just such a lovely little place. The food is great and the service super friendly. Prices are ok too. Portions are a bit small by American standards but just fine for us. Go there you will love it.

The place is small, but you can sit outdoors if you wish, very healthy food service and pleasant wait staff. I had Grilled eggplant as a side salad and loved it! Also had 3 street lamb tacos. The Moroccan spices within all is really tasty. My friend had the Mushroom medley soup and Mixed green side salad. Iced mint green tea to top it all. Great place for a change of pace lunch.

Do NOT judge this book by its cover! Like many restaurants I have eaten at in non-western countries, they have no interest in impressing you with décor, layout of place, music, or anything but their food. Their staff is laid back and constantly multitasking — so service and food are SLOW. So read the paper, talk to friends. The food is so worth the wait. I haven’t had a gyro that good since getting one at a street vendor in Greece over 20 years ago. My husband got the street tacos and the harrisa sauce was spot on to ones I have had from Tunisia. The sides we got were so flavorful — pear and mint salad and the sweet potato hash. You need to eat here. Be patient. You will NOT regret this decision.

The Falafel Flatbread Taco Dee recommended was excellent. Loved the vibe and the musical selection was perfection.

Really great place! We Unilocaled this spot after a hike, and it was so delicious. Beautiful views, great service, delicious food. Paying took a bit longer than we would have liked, but otherwise the overall experience here was lovely. Dee was so welcoming, friendly and chatty she made the spot that much more of an experience. Would definitely recommend coming in!

If you’re looking for something different packed with flavor, this is the best spot! Had the street tacos with the sweet potato side. Not a large portion but just enough to keep you satisfied.

Don’t let the location fool you. The food is fresh, with lots of flavor and the service is excellent. The pear and mint salad was excellent, the mini tacos and the gyro were great as well.

Wholesome food. You could taste the freshness of the food. Very friendly service, neighborly like. Price was unbelievably low for the quality of the food. Oh, and great views from the patio.

Every table was taken when we were there. Great friendly service. Very varied, many choices not available else where(my friend ate elk sliders), fresh, organic menu. Good wine suggested by our server Dee. Very reasonable prices. Off the beaten tourist track in breathtaking Sedona. I’ll definitely be back!

We got here a couple of hours before they close after lunch. All the tables inside were already occupied when we got there so we had to sit outside on the patio. The view of the nearby red rocks was very nice although it was quite chilly that day. We ordered hot tea and coffee, the elk sliders and the beef & lamb gyro. Our orders came with either the bison soup or a choice of healthy salad. It took quite a while for the food to arrive and we were starting to get antsy. Finally, our orders came. The food was savory and delicious although I wouldn’t give it five stars. It was a little short of excellent. The slow service didn’t help either. Although the server/bartender/owner(?) was very apologetic about it.

Great for organic, Paleo-dieters. We shared the: Elk Sliders(substituted the buns for gluten-free tortillas). Meet was cooked well-done. Flavorful but not overly seasoned. Potato and beet green soup. Recommend this. Very simple, ‘nourishing.‘ House-made hummus. Different from usual hummus, more chunky. Quaint, small dining area.

We had a really great experience here tonight! What really gives this place a 5 star rating is the service and the clear passion the owners have for this restaurant and what it stands for. If you want a locally grown, homemade, organic meal, this is the place for you! It’s a cute little family run restaurant, and when we came in, there were only three tables available, sitting 2 each. We were going to all sit apart, until this great couple offered their table to us so we could all sit together! In return for their kindness, the restaurant discounted their meal. I really enjoyed the veggie kabobs. The flavors were absolutely amazing and it would have been perfect if there were a few more apples and if the kabobs were a little hotter. They also have homemade soups and sides, and an additional menu that frequently changes. As an appetizer, we got the hummus(with dogs & garlic), pita, and carrots. I really loved the garlic flavor in the hummus and you could tell it was really healthy, which we appreciated as that is how we are trying to eat! However, for a little more flavor and moisture(and as disgusting as this sounds), some might prefer a hummus with a little more oil added. My favorite side was the sweet potato hash, because it was hot and deliciously flavorful! I didn’t love the quinoa & tabbouleh salad, as it was so cold and mainly only quinoa. However, I was told the hot Greek potatoes with the feta were awesome, along with the grilled eggplant(though the eggplant was also chilled). As you can see, I would have liked a few more hot food options for the sides. They had two different soups: a bisque and a mushroom soup, both of which everyone really enjoyed. If you’re a smaller group and have a bit of time to kill for a relaxed, healthy, home cooked dinner from a local, family-owned restaurant, I would highly recommend stopping here!

Nice change of pace in Sedona. Creative menu, fair prices, good food and the owner /staff are attentive. Small inside seating area but spacious patio which is where you want to be if you are in Sedona. Lamb Tacos and jerk chicken were very good. Eat here if you like Mediterranean flavor or you just want something different than you can get anywhere else in the village. They also have a hotdog on the menu of you bring someone or have a friend who is not feeling adventurous. Prepare to spend about $ 10 per person.

Best food in Sedona hands down !!! Fresh, organic and tasty as can be!!! Nothing bad to say about this place from the service(Dee our waitress) to the food and its presentation! Hats off Chef Brian! Be back from Miami with more people! Makes me want to go to Morocco for my next trip!

Finding a relatively inexpensive place in Oak Creek/Sedona is tough, keeping it so tasty is even harder. This is what has managed to happen here! Everything tasted great. Service was quick, I had salmon tacos, my girlfriend had the gyro, both were great!

Sorry, I’m just not feelin’ it. Highly rated on Unilocal and Trip Advisor but I just didn’t find it very good at all. Maybe it is because of all the great Mediterranean eateries back home but I just found their food so so and overpriced. A Taste of Marrakech has an innovative menu that combines Mediterranean dishes with a twist of Southwestern flair. Most of the entrées are about $ 10. We had 3 street tacos and 1 bison taco for $ 10 each, they both came with a small small side salad — bit high. Next time? Probably not.

If you are looking for a healthy bite, check this place out. It’s affordable and quite tasty. Their food is all natural, organic, gluten free, and sugar free. The owner’s daughter has food allergies so that’s how they came up with the concept for this restaurant. Also, the wife went to Marrakech, Morocco a few years back and she fell in love with the fresh and organic fruits and vegetables. They both decided to bring a piece of that way of life to Sedona. I think it’s a great concept that more people should do! My parents and I are worldly travelers so we stumbled upon this quaint restaurant and immediately fell in love with the place. The customer service was great and I like it when you can actually converse with the owners. We ordered the beef and lamb gyro with a side of eggplant salad, Jamaican jerk sliders with the quinoa and tabouli salad, and the falafel with taziki sauce. All of our selections had amazing flavor. They have great portions and our selections were all served in a timely manner. The only thing I think people would not like is the small space. There’s about 3 tables inside and a patio outside. I don’t mind though because the food tastes so good that I’d just order take out if there weren’t any seats available. If I lived in Sedona, I could see myself frequenting this place a lot. I think more people should try this place out and get the word out about this restaurant! I couldn’t believe that it wasn’t on Unilocal yet! Again, great food and owners.
