Excellent place for stones and crystals. I will make the trip from Phoenix to Sedona specifically just to browse this store and hopefully return home with some beautiful stones.

First of all, let me say that I spent the Labor Day weekend shopping most the stores up and down the main drag in Sedona w my husband and black lab and this is the ONLY place to tell me that dogs weren’t welcome. They were nice to me at first(telling me about how some jewelry they carried that literally most stores in Sedona carry was welded by hand etc) until my husband walked in with our lab. Porter, our lab, is cleaner and better behaved than most kids you see in stores. The fake, overly prissy guy in the store immediately snapped at my husband, «No dogs.». Needless to say we left and went on to shop at the countless other stores that are dog friendly. I was so blown away by how my husband and dog were treated that I went back in to let the over-the-top guy in the store know how inconsistent Body Bliss was w ALL the other stores around them. Their excuse was that their products were all hypoallergenic and that they weren’t sealed(scary). I told him that I wouldn’t spend money in a store that treated people and their dogs that way and his response was literally«that’s ok, we don’t need your money anyway». Btw, I didn’t see them ring up a single sale either time I was in there.

Honestly there was nothing special about Body Bliss. They sell stones and smell goods like most other stores in Sedona. What was the make it or break it was the snarkyness of the owner and one of the employees. From the moment my boy friend, my service dog, and I stepped foot into the store the owner singled us out and kept recommending things on the right side of the store to get us to buy something and leave. There were others in the store who she said nothing to. We went to head to the left side of the store where they had different scented products and I was stopped by the owner who asked(more like told) me not to go over there with my service dog due to allergens. I tried to explain that due to federal law she is legally not allowed to ask me to not enter a certain area of her store as long as the general public is allowed(ADA: Owners of businesses should read it and memorize it before someone sues). Her employee very rudely and loudly stated«Well legally we’re just asking you to not take your dog over there». Now my service dog is a small 32 lb mix who doesn’t even reach my knee meaning she was no where near the items for sale. We never even got to look at that side as I just left. If a store owner wants to break federal law and be VERY rude I will take my money elsewhere. I will also be letting the local service dog community not to stop by this store unless they want to be treated as lesser than other customers.
