Lulu’s Chocolate Lounge

Cool place! The chocolate is all organic and almost everything is vegan with the exception of a few things that have honey. They use high quality ingredients such as Ecuadorian cacao and sprites nut butters. They also have some body products including chocolate perfume and chocolate body butter. They also have a nice seated area and you can lounge and enjoy a chocolate shake or smoothie.

Came here for the first time and got a few of the chocolate treats to take with me, and they’re good, but not out-​of-​this-​world amazing or anything — I think I just don’t like the flavor of raw cacao as much as chocolate made from the roasted cacao beans.
But what did knock my socks off was the coconut cream «ice cream» that I also got. My measuring stick for quality of ice cream-​like things is always vanilla, so that’s what I got. And the young lady who helped me also offered to put some chocolate shavings on top, which I took her up on. And even without the shavings, the ice cream was delicious and had a great texture. Almost like the real stuff. And I love that it was vegan and gluten-​free (as well as soy-​free and low glycemic if you happen to care about those things as well).
The lady helping me was very patient and asked me a lot of questions about what I like in helping m to pick out chocolate pieces to take with me.
I’ll definitely come back for more of that ice cream next time I am in town!

Nope. Smells great and very pretty but that’s all it’s got. The server seemed to care less that we were and barely answered any questions. We ordered coffee drinks which were good and a brownie. The brownie started off great but had a very long curly hair in it…

If you want a junk-​laden hershey bar sugar fix, by all means go get one, but do you really want to bash something you’re unaccustomed to or uneducated about? REAL chocolate is made with unadulterated raw cacao that actually has healing properties. If your taste buds are polluted by a diet high in sugar and processed foods, perhaps you should pass; if not, it is likely that true cacao will make you moan and drool. My kids and I LOVE Lulu’s chocolate and I feel great about giving it to them knowing it’s free of health depleting ingredients like standard chocolate bars. My absolute favorite are the Maca Buttercups. Do it. ;)

Wow! What an AMAZING experience LuLu’s chocolate lounge is! I have always been a big fan of their chocolate bars, but the lounge is out of this world. I had an Apollo to drink and some love truffles, both of which were excellent and an absolute delight. Feeling a nice superfood buzz from the awesome quality ingredients they use in all of their products. I hear the drinking chocolate is to die for as well. I’ll definitely be going back to try it.

Went to Lulu’s lounge for the first time yesterday with a friend. When we got in there was no place to sit but while we were waiting a seat opened up. I can see that as being an issue as this place is very small. Ordered the sipping chocolate, hot chocolate and a few chocolates. Very expensive experience but the chocolate was stellar. I love raw chocolate and they delivered.

This is the most amazing raw food, vegan chocolate that is guilt free. Lulu uses the best ingredients to make each chocolate with love. It’s hard to find good raw and vegan treats, but Lulu makes the most decadent of sweets that help me maintain a healthy lifestyle while getting my chocolate fix. And nice and low on the sugar index! My favorite is the salted caramel truffle… how does vegan and raw turn out so creamy and delicious?!! If you are looking for a healthy alternative, then Lulu’s is the best choice for you.
The atmosphere at the lounge is intoxicating and inviting. A great place to kick back and enjoy some sipping chocolate. yum! Thanks to Lulu and her crew for all of the hard work they do.
On a side note: If you are a huge fan of Hershey’s…then you don’t really like dark chocolate or all that it stands for. If you are open minded about the taste bud explosion, then step right up and try a bite. Support small and local businesses.

Love these chocolates ! They are healthy for you… Raw and organic! My husband and I love the lounge as well, a nice place to relax and have good conversation over chocolate:) favorites are raspberry filled, salted caramel, and butter cups :)

I tried several bars and cups and I didn’t want to finish any of them. I went to Chocolatetree and the chocolate is a bit better there, however still nothing like the high grade artisan chocolate I am used to in L.A. or Denver.

I’m sorry but I really don’t understand Valerie’s review. First of all, the love truffles are the most amazing raw chocolate truffles EVER. I crave them! I have tried literally every raw chocolate product out there and Lulus truffles are the best by far. I prefer them to a lot of the «regular» chocolate out there. And I am a critical chocolate connoisseur and a foodie. As for the price, crappy truffles made out of low quality ingredients start at $ 2.00 in a shop, so to me they are a great deal. Just try the truffles!

Lulu’s Love Lounge is one of the most relaxing places in Sedona to chill out in. Grab some succulent chocolate, raw, organic, all different varieties to satisfy your heart’s desire.

I had tried several of Lulu’s bars before, and I was stoked to go to the Chocolate Lounge when I was in Sedona. When you walk in, the smell of chocolate is amazing, but the chocolates do not taste as good as that smell. Because everything is vegan and raw and no traditional sweeteners are used, the taste is very very different from what even the most dedicated chocoholic would expect. It is also extremely expensive.
I ordered two pre-​packaged boxes of «Love Cups» and truffles, a body butter, and several individual pieces, and my total came to more than $ 49. For a tiny little bag of chocolate. And mind you, this is not the world’s greatest chocolate. My friend was shocked at the price.
We tried the salted caramel truffles, and all we could taste was salt. There was no caramel flavor, and it didn’t even taste like chocolate. I huge disappointment for at least $ 3 apiece.
My favorite things ended up being the $ 1 chocolates — the cacao nibs piece, the salted almond, the espresso bean piece. I was looking forward to the $ 5 piece of chocolate covered raspberry mousse, but it wasn’t good. It definitely was not worth $ 5. If you go here, my advice would be to just try a bunch of the $ 1 pieces. Maybe try a sundae or a drink — we didn’t try those. Maybe they’re amazing.
I would say that Lulu’s has been bested by their competition. Skip this place and grab some chocolates from ChocolaTree. They are about the same price, but they taste much better.

These chocolates are terrible! We bought four different pieces for $ 18. A raspberry filled chocolate, salted caramel filled, a brownie, and hazel nut filled. Every single one was gross. The brownie was highly recommended by a customer in the waiting room. I wonder if she works there… it tasted like coconut oil and there was no richness of a chocolate brownie. The salted caramel chocolate tasted like twigs and herbs. Just gross! The hazelnut filled one tasted very bitter. The raspberry chocolate was also disgusting and the filling was dry. Do not go there! I recommend the Sedona Sweet Arts bakery instead.
