Compared to everything else it’s well-priced. I got the pulled pork sandwich and fries which were okay. The fries were greasy and the pulled pork was very dry without any sauce. Everyone else who got other stuff seemed content so maybe try everything else!

Worst place EVER. If 0 stars were possible, I would give it that. I ordered a beef brisket sandwich with French fries and the bbq sauce on the side. The brisket was dry. The fries were soggy. The sauce had WAY too much ketchup. Thank goodness they had ranch because I dipped every thing in it. For the quality of food that it was, it was overpriced. Sorry Sally!

We had a terrific experience here! We ordered the sampler with baby back ribs(absolutely fall off the bone tender), pulled pork(shredded by hand), and beef brisket(sliced perfectly thin). We added homemade baked beans and fresh cut fries. As an added bonus, we met Sally! She is super friendly and we would recommend this bbq to anyone. The prices are comparable to other now joints! 5 stars to great food and super friendly service!

BAD! DONOTGOHERE. We were hungry and got two brisket sandwiches with coleslaw. $ 25 no drinks. The food was blah, bbq sauce bad, and about appetizer size.

Semi-permanent food truck with some permanent seating: 7 tables in an enclosed area and several tables in clean alleyway directly off the main street. Sally herself was enthusiastic and friendly, delivering orders . Beef brisket and pulled pork were tasty. I decided to enjoy the bbq and leave the buns behind. Baby back ribs were also enjoyed. This isn’t the place for the discerning BBQ afficionado. It IS a good place for fast BBQ, casual atmosphere, and quick service.

We should have read the reviews first. First off, the place was empty. That should have been out first clue. The set up is weird, and the dining area spans a long pathway to the ordering area, and a teeny tiny widdle room with tables that look like they’re for kids. We ordered a hot dog with cheese, a side of fries and an ice tea. The food arrived quickly, but maybe they should have taken a little more time with it. The hot dog was greasy and overcooked. They forgot the cheese that we paid $ 1 extra for. The bread was stale and crunchy. The fries looked fresh cut, but were saturated with grease. And the ice tea was bland and watered down. There’s many other choices for food in uptown Sedona. I’d strongly suggest you choose one of those.

Ordered the beef brisket sandwich… It was disgusting. Please listen to other reviews and eat someplace else. Terrible quality and overpriced. Sad I wasted calories and money on this meal.

We should have listened to other reviewers… this place is way overpriced and definitely not quality food. Greasy, under-seasoned, or oddly seasoned nothing tasted good. We got the sampler plate, with brisket, ribs, pulled pork… unfortunately not one item was good. The pulled pork was just weird(undercooked maybe? not sure… couldn’t tell) The bbq sauce tasted funny too, like what ketchup tastes like outside of the States(always too sweet, with a weird flavor) The cleanliness was not quite to par, and the guy running the whole show wasn’t too friendly or inviting. We were duped by the wonderful smells coming from the smoker, but something happens between the cooking and serving process that made this experience a bad one. There are plenty of good eateries in Sedona. Don’t waste your money on this one, definitely not worth it!

Wish I would have checked Unilocal before we went. Saw the sign from the road but couldn’t see the restaurant because it’s in the shopping center. Since we had already parked and were hungry we went anyway. You order from a window and there is barely any seating. We ordered the sampler. The pork was almost all fat. The brisket was decent and the ribs were soso. I was extremely disappointed with the BBQ sauce. Really it was a waste of time, money and calories. However the location is convenient.

Great BBQ at great prices. My wife and I were in town on vacation and stopped in to try the brisket and pulled pork. We were very happy with the service and quality of the BBQ. The sauce was great too. Highly recommend giving this place a try if you like smoked meats like every true American should.

I don’t know ‘where’ you other people [on here] have eaten Bar-B-Q before, but let me tell you«THISPLACESUCKS» !! There were three(3) of us that ate here on 8−12−14 and we were all very disappointed with it. We all had the ‘pulled pork sandwich’ with fries. We picked up our sandwiches and ‘immediately’ the buns fell apart [in our hands] just from picking up and handling it. These buns are so cheap you could see through them like a Chinese Lantern. The ketchup was watered down with 50% water(or more). Who do they they are fooling? And the same with«ALL» of their crappy Bar-B-Q sauces, which ‘sucked’ anyway regardless of being watered down. Their sauce is absolutely disgusting! Don’t even put it in your mouth. The only thing they couldn’t water down was the french fries. I «DONOTRECOMMEND» going here ‘ATALL’. Save your money and go somewhere else, like«a Real Bar-B-Q joint» — NOTTHISPLACE !! And for the outrageous prices they charged [for ‘being in a backyard garage] we could have went somewhere else in Sedona«with a VIEW». When you’re at this place your view is a back alley parking lot. They should at least be cheaper for NOT having any kind of view. They are definitely taking advantage of tourists who don’t know any better.

$ 73 for 1 platter, 1 half rack, 2 burgers, 3 drinks, 1 beer. What just happened here. No bread, no tortillas, no nothing! Their sauce is disgusting! Only reason I ate it was because I paid so much. Can’t let that go to waste. And u eat in a midget shack. People were nice but thesauce was gross!!! They ruined the ribs.

We got the sampler plate. The best part was the ribs. Pulled chicken is an odd choice to eat with BBQ, but I wanted to try it. It wasn’t anything special. The pulled pork was definitely better. The sampler was a little small. I was eating with 3 ppl and we has to add another side of ribs

It is like a alley way food. Makes me feel like I was in Hong Kong… LOL! We ordered hot dog with french fries. They were ok. They french fries were good and freshly cut. The BBQ smells great but we just wanted a quick and small bite before driving back to PHX for dinner…

Do not go here!!! Worst pulled pork I have ever had. I don’t write reviews unless I mean it because it takes time. I would not recommend this place. It is way over priced and there ketchup tastes like a mix of ketchup and water. The pulled pork was nasty. Go down the way a little to a cowboy restaurant. That’s worth the money

Strange location. Pretty cheap for a BBQ dive, especially in Sedona. I ordered pulled pork which was definitely fresh yet lacked creativity. The sauce used tasted quite generic. With such a small location, I think it would do them well to be more engaged to their customers. However, I felt as though I were just ordering from a drive-thru, which should be possible for the location. Also, my side order of cole slaw did not seem very fresh and it was dashed with some sort of spice for whatever reason that didn’t really give it any creativity. Overall, a god cheap place to eat a decent sandwich that just lacks overall creativity.

Disappointing. Overpriced. The meat was fine, everything else was gross! Fries were mushy, ketchup was left out too long and was fermenting. BBQ sauce tasted only slightly different from the fermented ketchup. Won’t be coming back.

Sally is a hoot. We got to meet her on our third trip back to her shack for ribs. Two of these trips were twice in one day: Lunch and dinner. We enjoyed every piece of our meal. And we plan to return every time we visit Sedona.

I happened to be in uptown today with a friend and we went to this hole in the wall. The ambiance was dump and the service was slow, but the sign said all meats smoked fresh daily, Little did I think I would be so sorry I had decided to try this place when there were so many places we could have gone. I had a pulled pork – the prices were a tad steep and my friend was springing, so I ordered a special. Pathetic. Soft mushy white roll – dried out pork(WAY too much sauce The ‘cowboy” beans were OK.). My friend – who is in the food business – pointed out the meat was probably from the day before and that was why it was so dry… and on special. His sausage was dry also. This was no fluke, For those prices, the food should NOT be a day old. Period. Actually, day old meat should NOT be on any menu. Please.(These same folks made a killing on the 4th of July BTW…) There is NOWAY I would pay one dime to eat at this place ever again. There is too much great food in Sedona. In the common parlance of the day… EPICFAIL.
