Although I’m familiar with the benefits of Colostrum in general for humans, I had no idea the benefits could transfer to pets as well. My 12 year old male feline has been through significant health challenges in the last year. We found out he had diabetes and then developed a rare tumor near his brain which had to be removed. Somehow during the surgery he developed an infection in his intestinal tract which we couldn’t clear up. We didn’t want to subject him to continued antibiotics (which were difficult to get down orally anyway), so in an effort to stop the diarrhea, we were told by our vet to put him on low doses of steroids, which will mask the symptoms, but didn’t really help with healing the problem. Then a health professional we know recommended Sovereign Labs Colostrum… we started him on one teaspoon per day and over the last several months he has made an amazing recovery. His digestion is vastly improved, and he is moving around better and seems much more limber than before. I’m a believer, and not just in the digestive benefits, but other improvements we saw as well. We were so impressed, we told our vet about it and hopefully he will keep it in mind for other animals suffering similar conditions.
