We did a wine tasting just last week and had a great experience. The bartender was informative but came off a tad bit rude. We were a large party(although only four of us wanted to do tastings) and she seemed a bit standoffish when we walked through the door. One thing I did like about her though is she seemed to keep to herself and wasn’t overly chatty. She also wasn’t pushy about buying any of the wines we tried. The location itself is ideal because it’s at the end of the shopping center and you get the beautiful mountain view from the window. There’s plenty of seating throughout the tasting room. I also was looking at some of the trinkets you can buy and a lot of the items were extremely dusty, I was totally disinterested in buying them. Overall, it’s a great wine tasting room and I would return.

Excellent new tasting room… if you are open to new(good) wines from an up-and-coming wine region, stop in. David will be happy to show you a myriad of tempting varietal blends… We bought a bottle of the One Night Stand Rose — excellent patio wine.

L.A. man drives 500 miles to be here at «Raising Arizona» err, «Tasting Arizona.» Hey Man, its my birthday. Love this beer/wine tasting room which has comfortable warmth, a grand window view of the mountains, neat-O tasting glasses to take home, and the hops and tannins to back that reputation up. Highly experimental, local brews and grapes. Best beer: Lumberyard Amber Red Ale brewed and bottled in Flagstaff. Cool, quenchable rotation. Breezy to the taste buds.

I love the concept of this place. Wines and beers from around the state, available in one place to drink at will or taste a flight. The girl running the bar was pretty friendly and helpful. We went at night, which was a bit of a shame as we didn’t get what looked like would be a fantastic view. On the plus side, there was live music which was quite nice. If you’re in Sedona and looking for a nice way to kill an hour or so, I’d definitely recommend it. Bonus: We each got to keep our tasting glass!

A nice little wine room with plenty of flight options. And like most spots in Sedona, a wonderful view. My fiancé and I wandered in a little before closing time on a Friday night. The place was empty so the sommelier gave us her full attention, even though she was probably ready to lock up and call it a night. She suggested we try the southern Arizona wines since we were already fairly familiar with the vineyards up north. She called the flavors of the south more unique. While I can’t say that too many of the southern Arizona wines impressed my pallet, unique was a good choice of words to describe the flavors. The room is small, but cozy. The selection is pretty good. Bottle prices seem a little over priced to me, but I’m also comparing them to the tasting rooms in Cottonwood, which are direct from the vineyards. Tasting Arizona also does beer flights. I’d go back just for that!

Excellent tasting room overlooking Sedona’s wonderful views. I’m not a wine guy but Tasting Arizona offers a tasting of local beers as well. The young man taking care of us was a college student studying wine with an interest in beer as well, and the flight of beer was his idea. And a great idea it was.
