Old Timers Inn

Hey, if ya like bar fights, this is the place for you. I was horrified by the one and only time that I went to Old Timers. Between the skuz-​ball patrons, AND the amount of fights that I witnessed in the 2.5 hours I was there, I don’t know what I found more gross. I love me some dive bars, but grabbing a beer at Old Timers will literally put you in the middle of a white trash sandwich and chances are you’ll get punched in the face. Of course, you can pretty much say this about any downtown Woolley bar, but Old Timers takes the cake. Godspeed if you choose to throw caution into the wind and step foot into this establishment. UPDATE: I vowed never to return to this establishment, but I met friends there recently. You’ll never guess what happened while I was there? That’s right, a fight broke out. Shocking! This time it was only one fight, so I guess that’s a positive. Seriously, I have never seen a more unruly bunch of knuckle draggers in such a concentrated area at one time. If watching some meth head douche bro hit his equally methy douche bro doppelgänger is your thing, stop on in to Old Timers today!

Good beer at good prices. I am from the SF Bay Area, but I have stopped in a few times with my wife’s family that lives in the area. Nice clean bar serving cold beer.

The OTs used to be the place to be. I’ve got a lot of great memories in this place, and unfortunately, will probably make many more in my life. In recent years I think it’s taken a frightening turn for the worse, but has some how stood the test of time and is one of the only establishments in town that’s still in business years and years after opening. I think ownership has changed a number of times, but as long as the local kiddies keep looking for cheap drinks and pool, they’ll be around.
OTs used to serve pretty decent food. I haven’t eaten here in ages as I haven’t been in in at least a year or two (I tend to bar-​hop in town when I am hope for the Fourth of July). Some shady stuff has gone down, people have gotten in raunchy bar fights and been stabbed, that’s a bit of a turn off for me. However, they do carry an ever-​flowing supply of peanuts for your free consumption.
My guy friends still go here on an almost weekly basis, it’s close to home so the cab ride is cheap, or they can walk, but still, I wish they’d branch out a bit more!

Oh. the OT. One of my favorite places when I was ²¹⁄₂₂ and living in Sedro.
Drink of choice then — Alabama Slammer. made by our bartender Nita. I think my friends and I actually lived at this bar for quit awhile.

They have $ 1 Schmidt beer! how can you go wrong?
