This place is huge with not a whole lot. The selection is mediocre. I have been to smaller stores with a wider selection of merchandise. Prices seem to be on the higher side. The customer service was great, I would just have liked to see a wider range of merchandise for sale. I might be back when there is a sale due to their higher prices. Otherwise I’ll try somewhere else.

The attitude and professionalism of the staff is absolutely terrible here. I bought a Halloween costume from this store with a defective piece. I came back immediately the next day to return the item and was told by the person working there that they had no authority and couldn’t help and asked me to come back later. So, I came back the next day and try to explain the scenario and can barely get two words out before the clerk barks at me that it’s a costume sale and therefore final(despite the defectiveness of the item). The only option I’m offered is talking to the store manager over their phone which seems odd and totally unprofessional to me. Again, she is nasty, dismissive and doesn’t allow me to speak. Awful experience. I walked out without the costume and they wouldn’t refund me still, so in effect they stole from me. When I tried the costume on I was only handed the dress and the extra piece was kept behind the counter. I don’t know if it was an intentional attempt to conceal the defect in the other part of the costume or not but it’s a practice to be aware of. Also, I noticed the selection is poor and most of the things I looked at(clothing) was vastly overpriced.

I LOVELOVELOVE the shoes and drive about 45 min just to get my stripper heels. I do wish they offered returns for specific items, or at least exchanges/store credit but oh well. Most of the time the cashier is friendly and helpful, I understand A&E is a franchise and locations will vary so this store is run very well in comparison to my local spot, just wish it were closer!

For the size of this store you would think the variety would be off the proverbial chain, but though the all around experience of shopping at Adam & Eve was pleasant enough, I have to admit to coming away a little disappointed. The enjoyability had a lot to do with the woman behind the counter, and I am ashamed that I can’t remember her name. She is the perfect person for that position. My fiancé and I were immediately comfortable talking to her; she spoke frankly, knew when to come and assist and when to leave us to confer with each other. I am admittedly out of touch with brick and mortar sex shopping, and to be fair the clerk did make it clear that they were getting some new stock in soon. But I found it odd, for instance, that there were only two varieties of restraints — «expensive» and«even more expensive» — to be had, with not a single handcuff in sight. Outfits were shockingly expensive for what they were, though I did walk out with some cute legwear. I deducted from our conversation with her that the size of the store is probably to accommodate special events(she mentioned some porn star I’d never heard of making an appearance there sometime this month). It is easy to see that Adam & Eve’s perceived presence as one of the only erotica stores around has enabled it to slack in the inventory department but to establish a community presence none-the-less. While there is a definite benefit to being able to examine and discuss something before buying, I’m not sure how much I’ll rely on Adam & Eve in the future.

Its above and beyond«women’s apparel» and«accesories» although most of its inventory is geared toward heterosexual women. I will say they do have a decent assortment of men’s items and, despite the straight sounding connotation, are very same sex-positive/LGBTQI inclusive. The CSRs are very friendly, informed, and willing to special order anything. Their website — and gay site — are also sex positive and make it clear that their site is for consenting adults and want to be known as kid safe. These elements make it more adult relationship oriented and do not have the«blue movie”/“blue language» expectation assocaited with adult shops.
