Sukhy’s Threading

Its in a great location too bad the staff isnt great. Went in there after letting my brows grow out for a while thinking they’d get a great shape… Lady took 2 minutes said i was done i went home and had to pluck!!! Mind you it was empty in there! I guess it was empty for a reason!!!

I have always loved Sukhy’s for getting my eyebrows threaded because they are very quick, precise and it never hurts! Unfortunately tonight I had a very bad experience with a woman who was careless and caught my eyelashes in her thread, ripping one of them out and when I told her it hurt she said nothing. When I got up to look at my eyebrows I had a very good sized cut under my eyebrow. Very frustrating. I didn’t get her name, but she was one of only two women in the salon and the other was the owner who is always so nice! I will be back, but will be steering clear of her!

I got my eyebrows threaded here after growing them out for a few months in order to get a better shape. There was really no wait and I was taken in right away. The lady who did them did my eyebrows very quickly, however I was not satisfied with the result. My eyebrows looked like nothing had been done to them and they had really no shape to them. There were still hairs left over that should’ve been removed and I wish the lady had taken her time to do them instead of rushing to move onto the next customer. After leaving here I decided to get my eyebrows done somewhere else and will most likely not be coming back.

So glad they have a location close to me! They always do a good job and they are pretty quick, no super long line. Much better than waxing, for me at least.

I walked in and there was only 1 other person getting their brows done. No one was waiting. I go over to the desk and ask to get my eyebrows threaded, and the woman sitting down said only 1 thing «$ 10.» I thought it was strange I had to pay before I got them done, but I did anyway. She was not too friendly.
After I sat down, the lady at the desk called over the lady who would be doing my eyebrows. She said nothing to me, just tapped my eyebrow for me to hold it.
She spent literally about 5 seconds on each eyebrow, so when she said that she was done I couldn’t believe it. I looked at my eyebrows and they were terrible! I was very unhappy with the whole experience and I just wanted to get out of there so I didnt bother to have her try to fix them.
I had to pluck my eyebrows when I got home! She did a terrible job. And both ladies in the salon were not welcoming or nice at all! It’s not like they were busy; there was 1 other client who left before my eyebrows were even started.
I went here because I heard good things, but I will NEVER come here again. Bad service!

My brows miss this place. We moved to Staten Island last year for a job transfer and my eyebrows are suffering for it.
I used to stop here every other week on my way home from work and my eyebrows always looked perfect. The women here know what they’re doing. This is the right place for women who want natural looking brows, not the overtweezed, always surprised look. They follow your natural arch and just remove the outliers which is exactly what I want when grooming the brows. If you come in with overtweezed brows, they will encourage you to grow them out. So, in a way, Sukhy’s is also doing a great public service.
Anyhow, back to my search for threading here, on the lovely and scenic Staten Island. Those of you lucky enough to live near this place should definitely take advantage!

I’ve been here several times, and have always had a great experience, the staff is friendly and the girls are fast and do a great job. I won’t go anywhere else!

this has to be the best place i’ve ever gone to get my eyebrows done at. sukhy is amazing, she’s so quick and has a great eye for arching.
next time i’m in RI, i’ll be hitting her up again!
