Stopped by here at the recommendation of a friend to get a quick edge-up. The prices are reasonably inexpensive and the barbers are skilled. I saw a few people leave with very nice haircuts. There were three barbers on duty when I arrived. Be sure to put your name on the list when you walk in and also indicate the name of the barber you want to see(should you have one in particular you like). From my observation, each barber takes his/her time, which is important. It’s important not to make a client feel as though you are doing a rush job on their haircut! The shop is as clean as one would expect. It was well lit and organized… and there was someone cleaning the glass on the front door when I got there. They have quite a few posters with various hair cuts on them so that you can show the barber exactly what you want. I appreciated that element as some shops don’t have photos posted at all! And if they do… the cuts may be from the 80s – every photo shows a «curly kit» or an extreme black-out kit. Not here though… the pictures range from the most modern cuts to the back in the day style(to include curly kits! :-) The female barber cut my hair. She was friendly and she ensured that she knew exactly what I wanted. She used one of the posters to point out exactly what she envisioned that I wanted, which was a plus! It made me feel safe sitting in her chair because I knew that she fully understood what I described. I walked away with the perfect shape-up for $ 6.00(of course I gave her a tip as well)! So if you’re in the area and need a nice, fresh cut… I suggest stopping by TK’s!
