Very true authentic Mexican food. Homemade tortillas are excellent! Food is reasonably priced and the food portions are big in size. A true hidden gem. That a friend told me about. Sure hope whoever reads this stops in. You will be glad you did.

I’ve eaten here about 10 times and the food has been a 5 star quality every time! The breakfast tacos are the best I’ve EVER had! Not far from I-10 if you are passing through. The ambience is authentic, and divey but I love this place. You can sit inside or order to go from their outside window.

Someone brought me an egg and sausage taco with red hot sauce. Eats: — breakfast taco with egg and crumbled pan sausage. — Tortilla homemade, but just North of store bought, dry, not lardy like the good Seguin taquerias. — eggs white and diluted with egg wash, hot sauce pureed well, no heat, no cilantro. This place wouldn’t me on any of my lists, but my eat here if on a desert island, and this was the only place on the island list.

This place is great, a five star rating when they have chips. I went there twice awhile back and no chips! :(. The first time I thought I just got there too late. But, the second time I was there before lunch. I’ve been recently and there were chips to my reliev. It’s still a good place, but their homemade chips and salsa are integral to my earlier five star rating.

I tried the Carnitas. Very good. Salsa and steamed tortilla’s made them even better. Would like to go back and try the tacos. Waitress assured me this is probably the best Mexican food in town.

Total hole-in-the-wall, but well worth visiting for their tasty and satisfying breakfast tacos. We only found out about this place from relatives we were visiting. Glad we went with their advice as the food was authentic, fresh, served hot and delicious. Don’t be put off by the day-laborers out front — Alex’s tacos are worth it! Be sure to bring cash — no cc’s or debit accepted!

This place is the best hidden gem in all of the area, they have the best breakfast tacos I’ve ever had and nobody knows this place is even around. This is where the locals go for the best authentic Mexican tacos you’ll find. You would never notice this place when you first drive up, you’ll almost miss it. There is a restaurant with a small little walk up window at the back and you’ll usually see several people standing around waiting for the best breakfast tacos in existence. It’s cash only and old school, the food tastes like it was made by someone’s Grandmother who had perfected the art of the perfect breakfast taco. The prices are way below average and they should charge more for the portions you receive, each and every taco I’ve ever purchased from here was made with love and you can taste it in every bite. They sometimes make homemade tamales too if you pay attention to the small bulletin board near the window, but usually just one day only and it limited batches. This place is worth driving to Seguin for and you will not regret it, the customer service is a happy and smiling face every time and the kitchen is very clean. Can’t wait to stop by again soon.
