Absolutely the best and only place you should eat lunch if you are craving healthy sandwiches. This little sandwich shop makes wraps and sandwiches that put Jason’s Deli to shame. I always order the Southwest Chicken wrap with one of their home made cookies. I can guarantee that anyone who eats here will definitely have a new favorite place to eat for life.

Great lil’ business on Austin Street just past court and across from the downtown square. Had this catered for a business luncheon at my job and it was FANTASTIC. The bread was wonderful and the chicken cheddar was to die for. Will eat here many times I’m sure! Treat yourself to small town goodness!

I’m not big on sandwich shops, but OMG the chicken salad sandwich was just AMAZING here. So smooth and delicious! The employees here were very sweet and I honestly have nothing bad to say about this place. Thank you Amy and Cathy for a nice Monday lunch on a hot summer day!

Best chicken salad ever! I don’t know what they put in it or how they marinated it, but it was so good. I only gave it a 4 because it took a very long time for me to get my sandwich. While it’s a small restaurant the definitely need to get additional help. The food was great!

Amy’s and Cathy’s is beautifully situated in downtown Seguin overlooking Central Park and offers many fantastic soup and sandwich options. A nice young woman took our order at the counter and we chose to sit near the window to people watch(they have outside seating too). Our order was ready in no time, my pimento cheese sandwich was toasted and the pimento cheese was savory instead of sweet and it came with a bag of potato chips and sweet pickles. My cream of asparagus soup was my favorite, the asparagus chunks were generous and tender and the broth was light. My friend gobbled up her ham it up sandwich and shrimp and corn soup. Our lunch at Amy’s and Cathy’s was very enjoyable and the staff were kind and attentive. Everything is made from scratch daily. I will return to try their desserts and more sandwiches.

Great sandwiches and the chicken pesto, yummm! A must to eat. I fell in love with the chicken salad sandwich on croissant. The soups are tasty and hits the spot when it’s winter

Cute little place and very nice staff. Said it was my first time and she was happy to make some suggestions. I got the chicken-n-pesto that has 2 kinds of pesto, basil and red pepper, on ciabatta. It was so nice and tasty and the pestos were great. Also got a small side pecan house salad and the greens were fresh and nice portion of pecans. The dressing was also pretty great. Overall I will definitely be back when I come to this town again.

I’m a local, and if it’s a sandwich you want, this is definitely the place to go. No burgers, but they have a creative selection of both hot and cold sandwiches and some desserts that have a definite home-made feel. My favorite sandwich is the Panini. Two local ladies own and operate the place and one of them is the grand daughter of a famous person – and a damn good amateur actress to boot.

This place was wonderful! Walked from the courthouse to this sandwich shop downtown, ordered a turkey sandwich and sat outside at their street-side seating overlooking the park. My sandwich was awesome — didn’t expect it to be a hot sandwich. All sandwiches come with pickles and chips. I wasn’t a fan of the sweet pickles. After looking at their website I was worried about pricing(they price in bulk on the website) but it was very affordable. My sandwich was $ 6.99. We sat outside because it is very small inside. There is a pet grooming store a few doors down so lots of doggies walked by as we ate, which I liked.

Talk about a hidden treasure. I discovered the little sandwich shop on Unilocal.I was really impressed with the food. The bread has a homemade taste and texture and the sweet pickles go great with the sandwich. This is the perfect place for a quick lite meal. Highly recommend it.

This place is pretty darn good. Family owned feel. Little over priced, but worth it to support small business!

Cute little place in the downtown area. The town is very quaint so it’s surprising to have a place to eat like this. The food was decent for lunch. Just sandwiches, salads, and soup. I can’t say that anything stood out for amazing culinary flavors or surprised my palate but it wasn’t bad. One thing I did notice was their homemade cauliflower soup was gritty and not enjoyable. So I might skip that if you go. To be honest I can probably bring my own lunch.

Passing through it was right in downtown Seguin, which is a cute very typical Texas town. We got there right as they opened. I had the reuben, husband had a turkey sandwich not on their online menu and we split a bowl of their soup of the day(taco). It was all fresh and good. I only wish there had been more bread on the reuben, my bites seemed to almost all salami(which hey, maybe you like that better!)

Had the portobello mushroom and roasted red pepper sandwich with pesto. Simply delicious! The size of the sandwich was just right and the place, very cozy! Thank you ladies!

Stopped by while passing thru Seguin to see what the Unilocal was going on at Amy’s and Cathy’s and found a great little lunch spot. Right in downtown Seguin, you can grab a sandwich and sit in the town square by the fountain for a super relaxing break from a long car ride. I had the Chicken Pesto Sandwich, which featured some grilled chicken with classic and red pesto on ciabatta bread. I loved it. Well, I love pesto. And ciabatta. And red pesto. And juicy grilled chicken. This was a perfect match. 4 stars. Will definitely stop in again if I ever find myself in Seguin. Random fact: There’s an huge monument of Juan Seguin, horseback with sword drawn in the town square. It’s awesome.

Stopped in to Amy’s and Cathy’s Takeout to have lunch. My husband had a turkey wrap and I had a chicken wrap and both were fantastic! Could not believe how everything was cooked on the spot so it was like eating at home! If you have the time stop in, crab a sandwich or wrap and be on your way! The women are warm and friendly and offer a smiling face!
