Came here today at 11:00 am. Nothing was made or ready. If a business opens at 11:00 it means that pizza should be ready at 11:00. They just lost a customer.

We were going here almost weekly when it first opened. The pies were great and the take out was always hot and on time. Unfortunately in the past year things changed there are kids hanging out with the workers the pies are mediocre at best and more often than not the take out & delivery orders are wrong. Tonight the girl behind the counter actually told us that we ordered something we didn’t & our whole order was screwed up. We will no longer visit this restaurant. It is very poorly managed!

Good pizza and hero’s. Great late nite stop. There always friendly and they never bitch when you walk in at closing time, which I did once.

Very mismanaged. Stopped in today and blonde woman at the counter reeked of booze. Pizza had laid out and cheese was rubber. Has to be against health code to be laying like that. I would never go back. Next time I will go to Carnival or Amici.

Pizzia and food is delicious. Only problem is it takes up to 30 – 40 minutes for delivery 20 minutes if your lucky. Recommend

Zara’s has stepped up their game, Pizza is tasting better by the day and the staff seems to be trained properly now. I really enjoy how they cook panco crumbs into the crust, it’s a very distinct taste you can’t find around here.

Great pizza and great quality. I’ve never had an issue with them and I’m a frequent customer. The wings are good, too!

How did so many people give this place a good review??? Based on all the awesome Unilocal reviews we decided to try this place despite their website looking somewhat dubious. I’m SO sorry we bothered. This is honestly the worst pizza I have had in years. The sauce has no flavor, the cheese tasted cheap and the crust was also bland. It looked like cheap pizza as soon as we opened the box, and I had a feeling it was going to taste terrible. It honestly reminds me of pizza you would find in parts of the country where pizza is not as popular, it isn’t really what people in NYC call pizza. We are lucky enough live in an area of the country saturated with good pizza places, and some of the best pizza in the country is within a 100 mile radious of here. There are really awesome pizza places locally, so I am literally SHOCKED at all the not just luke warm, but excellent reviews this place has. We muddled through our dinner because it was late and we didn’t want to bother investigating other options at that time, nbut all the pizza left from our pie was promptly dumped into the garbage, we certainly wanted no leftovers of this drek. If you like good NY style pizza, one word — AVOID!!!

First impression of Zaro’s was how clean and shiny everything was. I really love the way they have the inside decorated. Huge murals of New York-related things. They were something I would put in my house. The walls were a bright goldish-yellow, very inviting. I think someone told me they used to have a different name. ANYWAYS, this review is supposed to be about food… When you first walk in there’s multiple types of pizzas by the slice in the window. When I was there they had margarita, chicken, broccoli, Sicilian, veggie, pepperoni and a bunch of garlic knots. There’s a huge menu display also if you wanted heroes or pasta dishes. Prices seemed very reasonable. The chicken slice was absolutely delicious and very filling. The crust is thick and doughy, which I prefer sometimes. I love that taste after it comes out of a charcoal oven. My friend got the Sicilian, which was REALLY thick and seemed filling. Cheese and sauce were pretty good. We sat at one of the many tables there. They had all the fixings on the counter(i.e. cheese, garlic, roasted red pepper, etc.) without having to ask for it. The people behind the counter were really friendly and nice. Great place to grab a quick slice.
