This was my second time at Marzoni’s. The first time I got the fettuccine alfredo, and while nothing special, it was fine. The friendly staff improved the overall experience. This time the staff could not make up for the food. I got the seafood manicotti. If you want a few shrimp and some crab on top of a dish of butter and cheese then this is the dish for you. The cheese inside the manicotti tasted off somehow. I’m not sure if it was old or what but it was distracting and I could not finish it. I’d maybe come here again for their margarita special on Thursdays but I don’t think I’ll ever eat here again. It’s just not worth it.

Service was good. Mixed drinks were terrible and had way to much juice mixed in, you could barely taste the alcohol. They didn’t have the sandwich my husband wanted to order. They ran out of noodles for my wedding soup and the chicken, bacon macaroni and cheese was terrible!

Had the pistachio encrusted salmon. It was delicious. Also our waitress Karen was wonderful. Best waitress we have had in a long time. Shaved brussel sprouts where so good. Very happy with the food. Prices are a little in the high side. Would recommend for a good dinner.

This place was solidly ok. The beer was ok, the food was good, the prices were a little too high, the décor of the restaurant and ambiance kind of sucked. My beer was flat but our waitress replaced it without hesitation. She was friendly and chatty and overall saved our experience. I think this restaurant needs to figure out its identity and really focus on that. Fine dining? Beers, pizza, and bar food? Close but not there yet…

Went after the movie. Service okay. The Belgian Triple was and the IPA. But the food, not so much. Stale almonds on the salad with far too many of them as well as the cranberries. Lasagna didn’t have sauce between layers. Spinach was greasy mush. Pistachio crusted salmon was not crusted just had them poured on top of grilled fish and the sauce on it tasted like honey mustard(not good!)

Sat at the bar and got good service, tried there pizza called the the butcher which is there meat lovers pie, and also got an order of hot wings. The pizza was ok a good amount of toppings but nothing special. The hot wings I didn’t like, there sauce wasn’t too tasty. Tried a sampler of Marzoni’s own craft beers, the sampler includes 4 small glasses. Ones I tried were Highway 22 Wheat, Stone Mason Stout, Stumblin Chef a Belgian-Style Tripel, and Avalanche IPA. Beers were all rather good especially the Stout and the Belgian Tripel.

Let’s see. Went once right after they opened and got a «Cheesesteak Sub». No it’s not a sub, a sub has veggies on it. So a cheesesteak with pepper/onion and marinara on the side, with what they call Pub Chips? Edible. Overpriced. Wife had same and same. Meh. But I’ll give a spot another chance. A few months later we went in and I perused the menu and saw an Italian Beef sandwich. I’ve had Italian Beef sandwiches from Philly/New York and on through to Windy. What was put in front of me was pot roast with freaking gravy and Jalapeño peppers… On a sub roll. No Tuscan peppers, no thin sliced marinated beef, no, no, no. I pointed out to the waitress that this was not what was advertised. She said something along the line of «Oh…» As she walked away. My wife had a meh cheesesteak once again with not as hot Pub Chips. Ah. I’m a nice guy. No. I’m dumb. Because after that display of ineptitude I went in today with my wife and daughter who is home from college over holiday, and we ordered… Cheesesteaks with chips… and my daughter ordered a Buffalo Chicken Personal Pizza… FORTYFIVEMINUTESLATER we had our food. With a very, very light crowd. Almost empty. Our server, who I will not name, came once in that time to tell us «It’s on it’s way» as he ignored my daughters empty iced tea glass and my empty water and lemon glass. It came. It was crap. The chips were stone cold. I said so. He told me that’s how they come, he would get me more if I liked them warm… My fault. Totally my fault. Why am I here? Why am I throwing down 30 bucks for this? So even when my «special» «warm» chips came, and he actually got my daughter more iced tea… my glass of water was still empty. I would have been better off buying canned goods and cracking them open in the van, and eating cold. My lesson learned. NEVER Again. Buh Bye.

***location of montage mountain in scranton** Salad was delicious and the restaurant is nice. It’s in a very obscure and hard to find location, but happened to be behind my hotel, so I said«why not» The bar area was busy, but has lots of waiters/waitresses working, it took 15 minutes to get anyone to even acknowledge me, and then I finally ordered a drink. 10 minutes later the waitress came to me to take my drink order, and then remembered I had already ordered. I also ordered a salad, which was delicious and all, however the poor service and lack of awareness from the servers was disappointing to say the least — since this seems like a well established restaurant. I’m here for another night, but despite convenience of location I do not plan to ever return.

If you don’t know how to cook, then I suppose this would be a reasonable place to eat since you probably eat Chef Boyardee, but I was seriously disappointed. They offered a choice between their homemade sweet sauce and DelGrosso marinara to a friend. Any sides were extra, so the price on the menu is entirely for just the one thing you order. No salad, nothing. However, the staff was extremely pleasant.

Great food. great atmosphere! Every Thursday from 5p-9p Martinis are $ 5. Their selection of home made beer is great! This is a wonderful place to come to! Their selection of pizzas made in their stone brick oven are great!

Please do not waste your time or money at this restaurant. I went once and loved it, except for the prices. My server was great and my bacon wrapped scallops with risotto was amazing. My $ 28 Bill for dinner &1 alcoholic beverage was not great. So, I take my family back a few weeks later because my husband wanted to give it a try. Our server was amazing, but our food was horrible. I ordered the bacon wrapped scallops with risotto again because I loved it so much. My husband and kids got the pizza. My dinner, in no way shape or form resembled the dinner I had a few weeks ago. My bacon was rubbery and gooey. Scallops water logged. Not to mention the size of this dinner was HALF the size of the 1st one a few weeks ago. The meal was just disgusting. The pizzas my family ordered were run of the mill and most certainly NOT worth what we paid for them. After this experience you’d think I had had enough of that place… But my husband liked it, so I tried to make reservations for his 40th birthday dinner on a Saturday in March. The management told me a resounding NO, we don’t take reservations on Saturdays. They were quite nasty about it too. But wouldn’t you know, that on this very Saturday 4\18, as I type this, they are setting up tables for a MASSIVE party. Screw you Marzoni’s. You are not a welcome addition to this community with your bad management, lying ways and your ridiculous prices!

Stopped on our way through. Very busy for a Saturday afternoon, around 2:00ish. Son ordered chicken fingers and fries, wife and I split the chicken parm with 2 salads. Food was very good. Lettuce in the salad was a little wilted. Really enjoyed the house dressing. Also had 6 wings for a app. I got mild. Could have had more sauce on them, but they were good.

I ordered the American burger. I did request the BBQ sauce on the side. It took a long time for our food my burger was burned the bacon was beyond crisp & of course they put the BBQ sauce on tbd burger & way to much of it… The food was not impressive but it was martini night & they were good…

Tried Marzoni’s for the first time this Saturday evening. They do not take reservations or call ahead seating so it’s first come first serve. When we arrived @ 5:00PM, were told there was an hour wait, which ended being only a 20 minute wait! We started the meal with a sampling of a few of their own brews and were pleasantly surprised with their taste and body. We tried the IPA, dark lager, and wheat. The crab dip appetizer was only OK at best. Very small portion in a small bread bowl, temperature only medium warm, and overly creamy/minimal chunks of crab. Since we were at a place that promotes their brick oven pizzas, of course we are ordering a few pizzas. As you may or may not know pizza, especially brick oven, is my favorite! We sampled 3 different kinds the 5 cheese and tomato, chicken bacon ranch, and pepperoni with onions. All three were very flavorful and the crust on the thin medium sized was great with a nice degree of crispness, chewiness, and char! You can get the medium sized as thick or thin, but for brick oven, thin is always the best. The one complaint I would have about the pizzas was none of them were very hot when they arrived at the table. The other entrees ordered at are table were the fish and chips(good portion and nicely prepared) and the Italian sub sandwich, which they said was good. The French fries were nicely cooked and seasoned. Besides the appetizer and temperature of the pizza, the only real misstep was the service. Our server was very nice and friendly, but the speed at which refills, check-ins, and with processing the check was way too slow. The food did take a bit to arrive, but I realize that the brick oven can only handle so many pies at a time. I will definitely eat here again and may try a different time of the week instead of a busy Saturday evening

We tried Marzoni’s for the first time on Valentine’s Day. They were busy but we didn’t wait too long. Sat at the bar and had a beer, which is a nice portion. Great beer, food and service! Ask for Brittany

Horrible experience!!! As soon as we walked in the front door the hostes were unorganized and didn’t even greet us. The music was so loud that I couldnt hear my husband talk. No drink menu. We ordered our food, I got the shrimp pasta and my husband ordered chicken pasta. My plate and silverware were dirty(had to ask for silverware after our food came). We waited at least 20 minutes and it was COLD!!! I returned my husbands and just didn’t eat mine(cold shrimp). I lost my appetite. After they reheated it, still cool. We will not go back! No one even checked in on us, what happened to good hot food and service?

Food was good but would’ve been better if it was hot when it was brought out. Service was terrible and took forever. We came in for lunch and got sat right away so it wasn’t busy. I won’t be back anytime soon until they figure their business out. Not worth the wait.

This is a craft brewery and their beers were good but no real stand outs. The pizza was good but only warm and I’m used to pizzas being hot and gooey with cheese but this was like pizza that had been sitting out on the coffee table a while. Bacon jalapeño burger was excellent however they are all cooked medium well and I like a little pink. The house made chips are great. They’re new so we’ll try it again but a bit of a disappointment.

Selinsgrove’s newest addition! We went there several nights after they initially opened their doors. 1. They don’t take reservations. 2. They don’t offer any sort of call-ahead services. We arrived shortly after 5pm and were surprised that we didn’t have to wait for a table. Soon after we sat the place filled up fast; good timing I guess. Our waiter was pleasant, helpful yet aloof. I assumed since the place was new it was still a learning process for most of them. I got a glass of Lambrusco and it was delicious. I also ordered the«adult macaroni and cheese. It was quite delicious and I had no complaints. My dining partner got another pasta dish which tasted amazing.(I’ll be ordering that on our next visit.) Overall it was a great dining experience and I can’t wait to go back and taste more of the amazing food! I highly recommend it!
