One of the worst meals I’ve ever had — really terrible burrito, bad rice too. Couldn’t eat more than half. Service was very good though, although no waiter could salvage the food!

Great margaritas — big and cheap. I got chili relleno and its a nice big serving. The food tastes great, it was ready pretty quickly. The servers and staff are very friendly and attentive.

Not a bad little place to grab a bite to eat. There aren’t many — translation, there aren’t ANY — places to eat downtown, and fast food chains were getting old. I was glad to see this place open and not too crowded on Valentine’s night. The food was good — your standard Mexican fare. I ordered three cheese enchiladas. Atmosphere was nice. Casual but not too loud. I would return, and I would recommend it to others who are tired of burgers and chicken.

A restaurant in downtown Selma! You get stars just for that! A perfect oasis as I walked by musty buildings and wondered what once was. You can tell that like much of Selma this spot has had many incarnations. Seems this is the ony eatery that has survived as I passed by closed coffee shops and lunch grills. I was seated in a corner so I could look out on the downtown area and was promptly brought some chips and salsa. A very cheerful and very southern waitress careened over to take my order. I started with a house margarita on the rocks with salt. I opted for the medium, it ended up being quite large but really not all that great. I was delighted to see a small veggie section on the menu. Ordered the enchiladas rancheras. They were cheese enchiladas covered with an onion sauce and a refried beans sauce, then covered with chopped tomatoes, lettuce and sour cream. I asked for a side of guac too. I was a bit taken aback by the size of the side of guac for $ 3. The enchiladas could have used a filling besides just cheese but the addition of guac made it more substantial. It wasn’t authentic but it was yummy and hot and under $ 20.

Great food, great prices, friendly staff. I highly recommend the hot and spicy burrito(it is neither hot not spicy), but is delicious! The beer is cheap and cold!
