Steak Pit

I stopped by here in December with my familia and ordered a salad… uuugh…I couldn’t eat it. Will not return!

WORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE EVER!!! First of all let me say that when you walk in there is a distinctive smell, and not in a good way. So me and my family walked over there to see the salad bar since it was lunch time… The absolute worst salad bar ever. The lettuce was like cheap iceberg that was brown and wilted and the topping were either the same as the lettuce or stale. Not to mention the veggies weren’t on ice they were just sitting there which is a food safety risk. And oh yeah the dressings were in packets. So my mom ordered her food and the waitress was completely incompetent she gave here the wrong order twice!!! Then what set me off is the rude owner who told me I WAS going eat and pay for this steak I had ordered which was the wrong cut (I asked for sirloin I got ribeye) don’t go if uk what’s good for you.

This was an odd bird restuarant. When I heard the name steak pit, for some reason I was thinking this was a steak place. I went during lunch and the place was busy. The service was fine, but the food was just okay. During lunch this place is a quasi-​buffet service. The staff brings you a menu you pick the items you want and the pull the items off an open buffet table. Only staff is allowed to pull items off the bar.
The food style is southern comfort food, average quaility with canned vegtables
