If you like Kabob or Chicken then I think you should try this place. We were 8 people visiting there and we were all satisfied with their behaviour and aslo with the taste of their food.

I had a great experience here. Right from the get-go as soon as we entered the restaurant the owner said hello and greated us, his warmth made us feel right at home. Throughout the meal be kept asking if everything was ok and if we need anything. Seriously, this guy was amazing. On to the food– I had sjouk sandwich w/fries and enjoyed it. It was my first time trying sjouk so I don’t have anything to compare it to, but I liked the tangy unique flavour it had; and the fries were hot and crispy. I’d definitely recommend this place to others! Amazing service and good food.

Definitely owe Cedars a review! We frequent them a lot and the attention is really wonderful. Really a great spot for some authentic middle eastern food. Everything is fresh and homemade.

My family and I wandered in here for dinner and were thrilled they had shawarmas! Not only that, they are delicious! As are their hummus and stuffed grape leaves. Everything we ate was fantastic and we will be back!

Nondescript strip mall hides a pleasant family owned Lebanese restaurant. Interior is nice, clean and well maintained, but could use some decorations. Service was amazing, friendly and attentive. We tried the red pepper hummus, baba gahnouge, tabouleh, falafel patties, and stuffed grape leaves. All were amazing. The stuffed grape leaves were my favorite, just like grandma used to make. The baklava were outstanding, the best on the beach — not too sweet.

If u appreciate Middle Eastern food like i do, u will love this place. Not only was it fresh and tasty, it was also truly authentic and homemade. I ordered the kibbeh appetizer which was great. Moist, not dry like most places and the meat in the middle was very flavorful and aromatic. a definite reorder. Two thumbs up for the tzatziki sauce for dipping too. It was on point. Already scoring this place a 4 star just for those . I also enjoyed the pressed wraps. Come with company so u can each order different things and split. We ordered the Sujouk & Beef Shawarma. Even though we agreed that both of them were tasty, we both enjoyed the Sujouk better. It had a bit of a kick. I like these simple little sandwiches, they remind me of the sandwiches back at my other home in Greece. They don’t over stuff, but distribute each ingredient perfectly so u can enjoy all the flavors, and eat them neatly for a quick bite while your walking down the street… for $ 6.99 served with fries, u cannot beat the price, and it makes sense for the price. I was very surprised to see kibeh nayeh, which is a raw meat plate. I’ve never had any, and always been interested to what it tastes like, but I never had the nerve to go through with it:-) I’m a bit scared of it to tell u the truth. I would definitely try it if someone else ordered it, but to order a whole plate for myself… Umm. I don’t think I could haha. One Day .I will return to try more. I must try the falafel, I actually surprised myself by not ordering some, but because there were more options available here than your regular Lebanese place it steered me away, which is a good thing. On top of being truly Authentic which brings me joy, the staff(owners maybe) were awesome. There are some very friendly people in there, which brings this review to a worthy 5 star for overall experience

Cedars Cafeteria is a humble Lebanese joint, reminiscent of a roller rink snack bar. Waaaaaay out west on that part of Park Boulevard that you never knew existed— Shouldn’t we be hitting water soon? There is an ordering counter with the menu on the wall. But, if you are dining in, there is table service and hand held menu ordering. Service was quite good, but there were only two tables of customers at the time I was here. While I’m not necessarily hooked by any of the dishes, there are a few items that are not common: 1. Soujek Wrap– house made sausage wrapped in a pita with garlic tahini sauce. It was just a wrap, nothing spectacular. The fries were actually more impressive, coated and super crispy. 2. Fatayer– Huge basket of ground beef pies. The pie shell portion was tender and served hot. Again, not bursting with flavor or anything, but a large portion for only $ 5.99. My husband could not stop eating them. But, the flavor just reminded me of a Krystal burger. Almost $ 6 for a service of hummus, no thanks. The same for the Fatoush and Falafel bricks. There are many other places in the area, so for this price, they might want to step their game up. I hope that the Babaghanoush is worth a trip back. If you are looking for Halal classic American dishes, they have those as well: hot dogs, Philly Steak sandwiches, hamburgers, and so on.

Hands down some of the best food in town. Even for my friends that haven’t had lebanese food before, this was a win. Food always tastes fresh, salads are huge, the kabobs and kibbe are cooked perfectly! We also love the fresh grape leaves, seriously some of the best I’ve ever had… The owners are also very nice and the takeout option is also great. Its a quiet place for lunch so perfect for a quick meeting too.

I’ve been to the Middle East numerous times. Though I live in FL, my previous most loved Lebanese restaurant is in Detroit. My favorite shawarma in Vancouver, BC. In other words, I am fairly well-traveled and this is the real deal. Everything was fresh and homemade. Perfectly cooked, with excellent and subtle spices. There is also a little market, so that’s fun too. We tried a mixture of the food for lunch, and while I won’t go into exhaustive detail on everything we ordered, suffice it to say I would have licked my plate if it wasn’t so rude! It was so good that we ordered a bunch of food for dinner later that evening, and picked up some items from the little market. So, if you ever need a Mediterranean fix in the greater St. Pete area this is your joint.

My husband and I came here and ordered take out this week. We ordered the hummus appetizer, a falafel pita/sandwich, and a gyro. The latter two came with an order of fries. The hummus here is outstanding and appetizer comes with plenty of fresh pita bread. It has just the right amount of garlic, but does require some stirring before eating. My husband enjoyed the gyro. I’m not a meat eater, so I can’t comment on it firsthand. My falafel sandwich/wrap was awesome. The falafel was extremely fresh and well made. I tend to like more sauce with my falafel so I added some hummus from the appetizer. The French fries on the side were standard, but cooked well so definitely no complaints. Simply excellent food at this restaurant. We will be return customers in the near future.

Ordered Shish Kabob Marinated beef in garlic and oil cooked to perfection Most of the meat was well over cooked and did not seem to be marinated with any flavor. Presentation was poor with thin slices of onion and tomato and no green pepper as expected. Two pieces of the meat added to each end were raw uncooked.

What a great find! A authentic Lebanese restaurant here in the heart of Largo. This is my third visits in less than a month, unfortunately it is quiet a drive from where I live, but it so worth the drive to get the real lebanese kibeh nayeh(raw meat). The service is friendly and pretty fast, if you are into lamb or chicken shawarma, look no further. For me personally, I love their kafta sandwich(minced beef with parsley and onions). I would definitely recommend this place for middle eastern food lovers, especially Lebanese cuisine.

Excellent service. Every time I go here I get the Kibbee, and they are nice enough to bake them for me instead of fry! The Baklava is hands down the best in the Tampa Bay Area(and not too sweet!). They are also extremely fast and the mint tea is refreshing.

Discreetly placed in a strip mall, this little gem of a restaurant is way more than meets the eye. The décor is pleasant and the place was very clean. The service was great and the dinners we ordered, lamb shank and beef shish kabobs, came with a choice of one of three different salads or soup. The presentation was terrific, the portions were very generous, the meals were delicious, and the prices were reasonable. We will definitely return.

I’ve been in a couple times now and I have had really positive experiences so far. The inside is very plain and reminds me a bit of a cafeteria. You can make an order to go at the counter or take a seat and someone will bring you a menu. The tables are consistently clean and you can get your own drink refills if you so choose. The family that runs it is seriously wonderful. The wife has some great recipes, guys. She can lead you to food heaven too. I’ve had a variety of things so far. I’ve had a few different meats thanks to the cedars platter. You pick a couple from a list, and they show up with a bed of seasoned rice(what do they put in it!?), grilled veggies, and pita. I’ve had a couple of the appetizers/salads — baba ganouj, fatuosh, tabbouleh, and kibbe. The baba has this insane smoky flavor, unlike any other baba I’ve had. The fatoush is simple and a great gateway salad for someone not familiar with middle eastern food. The tabbouleh was delicious, and I might be able to eat my weight in kibbe. I’ve sampled the leg of lamb on their entrees list and it was very soft and flavorful. The first time I went I wrapped up dinner with the namoura and they were delicious, but I’ve yet to have one I didn’t like. My only real complaint is the ground meat is always beef; I have a preference for lamb when it comes to my kofta. I’m looking forward to trying the knafeh one of these days. I’ll definitely be back, though. It’s super close to me AND halal so I can please the manthing without the long trek to Tampa.
