Used to love DQ as a kid — oh those hand dipped Dilly bar with the swirl, but how they had slipped. This bright shiny new location has won me over. Got the Dilly bar(although dang, they don’t hand dip at this location so the chocolate shell is too thin — and no swirl) and tried a new artisan sandwich. The chicken club was on a bakery fresh soft steamy bun with generous savory chicken breast, ranch, lettuce tomato and bacon. The chicken mozzarella was pronounced pretty good. Décor is really upscale for a DQ — nearly Panera-ish. Great selection of ice cream cakes

Two days in a row — first walk in then drive thru. I’m not a regular DQer but am enjoying summer. Quick and friendly service. Honored their discount. Next time I’ll try the Heath blizzard but the mint Oreo, midnight truffle, choco extreme, and smoothies all met standards. The only beef I have is that some DQs give a blizzard with the ice cream stretching upward out of the cup and this was just under the rim. Not even a complaint — just not a plus

The drive thru service was good and fast. Had the mini Heath blizzard, as another Unilocaler(reviewer) said it’s pretty hard to mess that up and I agree… nothing over the top but always the same. I haven’t had their food but the ice cream and Blizzards are always good. I saw other reviews about service and was actually surprise because our service was fine… maybe they were just concentrating on the drive thru.

Well… it is cheap ice cream. Yummy, but usually slow and frustratingly dull staff.

I’ve been to this Dairy Queen a couple times before, but this particular visit has rubbed me the wrong way. I was half an hour early for work so I decided to stop by and pass the time by having ice cream with my girlfriend. One blizzard and one dipped cone. Not too much to ask, right? Almost fifteen minutes later we received our order. A grandmother with her grandson before us waited almost as long as we did, but a father with three children received their ice cream immediately. I’m not sure what took so long. Short handed employees? Slow employees? Lazy? I don’t know. Maybe they assumed that the lack of flow of customers meant they could take their time. Even though Dairy Queen has awesome food, the employees at this location need to step it up.
