Mazzio’s Pizza

I usually like this place as I’ve ate there more than once.
However I think it was expensive charging my daughters (aged 2 and 3) $ 3.99 each for buffet. We also have a Ken’s Pizza in the area (basically sister restaurants) and they charge them 50 cents for each year of their age. which would have cost $ 2.50 for them. Mazzio’s charged $ 7.98. As a working father raising a family cost does matter.
The food taste decent most of the time, my wife said the cottage cheese from the salad bar was frozen.
I may eat there again by myself, but not cost friendly for family.

Pizza wasn’t bad.
I stumbled in on buffet day (Sunday) and the place was a wash with Hefties looking to fill up on pizza. As they choked down on fistfuls of pizza, I headed to the salad bar.
The salad bar there has everything you’d expect in a salad bar, with a few extra touches like half boiled eggs, fresh spinach and various toppings. I was surprised to see the ‘salad’ portion of the salad bar wasn’t just iceberg lettuce. It was a nice mix of various greens. The salad bar was above par for sure.
The pizza was thin crust and cut into very small wedges. No problem as seems to make it easier to pick up by the hand full (see above). The chicken, spinach, bacon pizza is a hit with the locals and I see why. It was delicious.
The place was a little dirty but I don’t blame the over worked staff. It’s a combination of management not putting enough people on during the busy shift and all the little piggies wallowing through the pizza cart like this is the only time they leave the trailer park during the weekend.
I would go again.

For starters the salad bar was frozen ! The lettuce had frost bite ! I got a egg an could eat it because it was frozen ! The pizza was dry an cracked when I picked it up ! I sat down an after 10 min I had to go up to the counter an ask for a drink then there was nobody asking if u needed refills ! Very sorry service ! It cost me 10.00 an won’t be back !

I love this place best pizza joint in town hands down I would eat here everyday if I could way better than pizza hut…

Ordered a few pizza for work. The pizza is greasy, and there was only one olive on a few of the pizzas. I wouldn’t order from there again. If I had to, I’d try the signature toppings, not typical ones.
